Hey everyone,

Saw the last thread was nearly full so thought I would start a new one :)

Just waiting for my beef rogan curry to finish cooking. Smells AMAZING :) Thank god I am off attack now!

Burgers sounds lovely, boo, may have to copy them.

I went to Paris for the day yesterday with a friend and we left Dukan for the day. Not hugely naughty, but a few carbs may have found their way in. However, back on the straight and narrow today. We have my DD1's party this pm so I have wrapped up 30 presents instead of party bags, then I will finish making the cake! Very exciting. I will try to resist the food though, even though I love children's party stuff. White bread and hula hoops. Fab.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Hello ladies (and gents?). May i join you please?
I am on day 3 of attack. I will do one more and the go on to cruise. I am craving veggies!
Anyone else going to cruise on thursday?

TooImmature2BMum · 21/06/2011 13:32

Hi - can I join too? I'm on Day 2 of Attack and am aiming for 5 days. I've lost 2 lbs already! That's usually a week's worth of effort. I didn't have any oat bran yesterday but I've now found a shop that sells it. I wish it wasn't raining, though - will be very hard to drag myself outside for my walk!

sybilfaulty · 21/06/2011 13:43

Hello girls - good to see you.

I am on cruise now. I did attack at the end of april and did well through May, though lost the way a bit over half term and the week after. I have lost 8lbs though, which is good for me. Would like to lose another stone.

Have had yoghurt and tuna for breakfast (not together!), then smoked salmon for lunch. I try to eat with DH in the evening and just add some carbs to his, so goodness knows what we will eat tonight. I am working at home today so will have to fly to the Coop on the way to get the kids from school.

How much do you ladies want to lose? I would still be 11st if I lost another stone, but am 5' 8 so that's not too awful.

foreverondiet · 21/06/2011 14:12

Hi All - I am still basically dukaning on consolidation.

I now eat 2 pieces of fruit a day (berries/apples/pears) plus pulses. Haven't really added the bread in yet, but have had a 10g piece of 85% chocolate most days and occasional biscuit or small serving ice cream or cheese. And have celebration meals.

Weight has been static for last month. Am a bit worried to eat more in case I gain!

DizziDoll · 21/06/2011 22:59

My goal is that i want to fit back in to my wedding dress on our anniversary in the middle of August. So far i have lost quite a bit on attack but i think it's mainly water. I feel quite tired though and am going to do a race for life run on saturday. To top it all off, i am due on on saturday too Sad.

I just fried a steak for dinner and it's bbq at work tomorrow so don't need to bring anything special in. 1 more day of attack and then a fresh salad with tuna for me on thursday!!!

DizziDoll · 23/06/2011 22:54

First day on cruise today. Veggies are soooo good. How are all of you?

OpinionatedPlusSprogs · 24/06/2011 07:21

What yoghurts are you allowed? Do they have to be sugar free?

divadoll · 24/06/2011 07:39

Opinionated...they must be as low carb as possible and defo NO FAT. Look for something in single figures for the carbs.

OpinionatedPlusSprogs · 24/06/2011 09:23

Thanks Smile

TooImmature2BMum · 24/06/2011 14:51

Okay, those of you who have cheated - what impact did it have? On Day 5 of Attack, due to start Cruise tomorrow. BUT am having friends to stay tonight and barbecue tomorrow and am planning on making potato salad, rice salad, tuna bean salad plus normal bbq food such as sausages, none of which I can eat on Cruise. Also quite want to get drunk! I have lost 5lbs so far and really don't want to put it all back on. I could just about cope with not drinking tonight and eating only Cruise-friendly barbecue tomorrow, but what about drink? Also, if I drink, I am bound to start chomping potato salad or similar...and would be back to PP on Sunday with stonking hangover. Hmm. Advice, please!

divadoll · 27/06/2011 09:00

Keep off the booze if you know you will fail on the diet. One or the other but both will make definitely have an impact. Especially so soon into the diet. I have been in cruise now since March and found that cheating isnt a problem but I have plateaued for two months now going up and down a few pounds depending on cheats and so havent lost much at all just keeping it off. I still have a half stone to go and so hope to really give it a go as have a wedding in 4 weeks time to attend!

foreverondiet · 27/06/2011 16:14

TBH I don't think you can cheat so early on and get away with it - I think if you cheat you'd be back to your initial weight.

Eat lots of meat at the BBQ and make lots of cruise friendly salads - eg green salads rather than the carby salads you are planning. Stay off the booze but pile your plate up with meat and green salad. Maybe low carb drink would be ok.

divadoll · 28/06/2011 08:03

I agree with forever you cant cheat so early on or you are setting yourself up to fail.

seedlessgrape · 29/06/2011 15:57

Hello ladies I'm back!!

The last time I weighed in (in fact I haven't actually weighed myself since then) was on 10th June and I reported an 11lb loss in 3 1/2 weeks, which I was/am very pleased with. Unfortunately I was in hospital on 13th June (planned minor surgery under a general) which required 10 days off work and lots of TLC (including comfort food) provided by my very lovely boyfriend and/or daughter.

Anyway, the Dukan took a back seat and I've not been tempted to get on the scales until this morning. I don't think I can complain at a gain of 3lbs over the past 2/3 weeks especially bearing in mind the food I've been guzzling!

Not sure if I will go back to Dukan but if I do, you lot will be the first to know!

In the meantime, well done to you all and good luck for continuing success!

divadoll · 30/06/2011 07:56

Well done Seedless hope to see you again soon when you are fully recovered. Just dont got carb crazy :D

DizziDoll · 01/07/2011 16:56

Afternoon all!

I must say that i am very impressed with the results of this diet. 3kg (sorry, don't know lbs) in less than 2 weeks without being hungry!

There was cake at work today but i resisted.

What's for dinner chez vous?

WestieWoo · 02/07/2011 08:31

Hello all can I join you please? Can't believe I have only just heard of this diet earlier in the week, where there have been posts on here about it for what seems like over a year. I heard about it on Tuesday, downloaded the book from Amazon on my kindle and had a good read. I started eating proteins on the Wednesday but still clearing up what fruit and yogs I had in the house. By this morning, I have lost 6.5 lbs - I am amazed. I will be starting attack for 6 days on Sunday so will be interested to see how I go on.

littledolly · 04/07/2011 12:47

Hi all - I'm jumping on board here too. After reading as much as I could about Dukan (mostly from here) over the weekend and ordering the book (dispatched, but not yet arrived), I am starting Dukan today. I plan to do Attack for 5 days (have 2.5 stone to loose) as I'm off to Spain on Saturday for 10 days. We are going to my parents apartment, so I know what to expect and there is plenty of fresh fish and lovely salads, etc so should survive on Cruise OK. I'm not a big drinker, so no wine will I am away is no big deal.

I am bridesmaid for my sister in mid-August, so want to loose as much as possible (hopefully a stone) by then.

So far so good today. Stopped in Tesco on the way into work to buy some provisions, but will do a 'proper' shop on the way home. Am hoping all the madness of finishing up in work this week for going away will take my mind off bread and veggies!

Hope everyone else is doing well Smile

WestieWoo · 04/07/2011 18:25

Hi Littledolly - I am on day 2 of attack now - seems to be going ok and can't believe how much weight I have lost already, even though I hadn't started it properly until yesterday - I was at 7.25lbs this morning. I could probably do with losing about 4 stone (or more) if I'm honest - going to do a 6 day attack and the onto cruise. Salmon for dinner and looking forward to it too ......... good luck with yours

WestieWoo · 08/07/2011 09:06

After day 5 attack - lost 9.75 lbs - whoop whoop - one more day to go, then some veggies!

MeMudmagnet · 08/07/2011 11:58

Hello everyone,
I'm on day 3 of attack. I appear to have lost about 5lb and 2 inches off my waist!! I really hope I can keep it up.
I'd like to lose at least 2 stone, I'm heavier than I've ever been atm Sad
The walking's not a problem as I have dogs, but I might try The Shred again, if I can bear it.

Really encouraging to read all the success stories.

HelloOutThere · 10/07/2011 11:49

Hi all have heard this diet is good am trying to start it. Had some BM ham and grilled chicken for breakfast and cooking a chicken for lunch.

What can i have with the chicken to make a proper meal? Have yet to get the book do a list of foods you can eat on Attack phase would be a great help.

And how much exercise do you do? I usually manage 40 mins or so 5 times a week

HelloOutThere · 10/07/2011 11:56

AlfalfaMum thanks for that list, have just read down more posts and seen it. Any extra things people know are ok in attack phase?

WestieWoo · 11/07/2011 07:48

Good morning all - and yes it continues to be good - weigh in after day 2 cruise, have lost 11.75 lbs. I continue to be amazed. Have gone off my food a bit, no urgency to eat and having no cravings whatsoever. I was eating my oatbran in the galette, but have decided now I prefer it in a yoghurt. Ive been having vanilla Activia, but because its a bit sweet, Ive been adding a spoon of natural fat free fromage frais to is and its yum. Made sugar free jelly also for a sweet fix. Here's to a fat free day for everyone......
