Hi all, I cannot find a new starters thread for September 2026 (did my first mounjaro jab today) Is there one ?

Third jab today (Saturdays is my jab day), which for me—so far—has meant suppression starts in about two or three hours. This means I can walk around the local abbey grounds this afternoon and not be tempted by the honeycomb in jars and bottles of brandy in their shop!

Hi all, congratulations to all those who have lost and to those struggling, keep at it! I took my jab on Wednesday morning and have had no symptoms eating 3 healthy meals a day. Then today I skipped breakfast to go shopping which I do quite often, but oh my goodness the nausea was horrible. Had something to eat when I got home and was fine. So I really think you need to eat and not skip meals on this medication. Lesson learnt.

I'm three days into my second week on 2.5mg. Odd feelings this week....I've felt really hungry but then once i do eat I feel very nauseous afterwards.

I find that if I eat well I feel less sick so it's time to really listen to the signals my body is sending me. We were at a festival last night and i ate two smallish donuts from a stand and then thought I was going to throw them back up. Lesson learned.

I am finding the food noise and hunger too much, even just 2 weeks after starting Mounjaro .I am getting very healthy, and prioritising protein. I am considering ordering 5mg next time. Anyone else ?
