I have decided not to go for a second month.

I've lost the bit of weight I packed on over the summer months of fun and holidays - so am at least back where I often am weight wise.

I know that I CAN stick to plan and keep away from the wine and crisps,, it's just that bit more effort.

If nothing else I know that I can get up and wait more than 30 minutes before I grab my coffee and breakfast.

Good luck to all the rset of you - having given this a go it's a great idea if it can assist to get back on to a sensible way of eating.

Just starting tablets today . Have been on jabs before but only ever lowest dose .

WiseMoose · 03/09/2026 11:08

Good stuff !

WiseMoose · 03/09/2026 11:08

Hope it goes well

Day 2 for me and the nausea and vomiting has been awful so I’m knocking it on the head.

So gutted, I was really hopeful as Mounjaro was really successful for me with a 3 stone loss with no side effects at all. I wish it wasn’t so expensive.

I’m going to have to try with sheer determination but that’s where I’ve fallen down before.

Looking for advice on holidays, I'm on day 10 of 4mg, and tbh I'm a bit disheartened but will continue for the 3 months i signed up foe and see where I go from there. However I'm away tomorrow for 6 days home for a week, away for 3 days, home for a week then away for 9 days. I'm thinking I should just stop for this month and restart in October. Or should I continue?

Personally, I would (and did) stick at it through holidays. Although I was towards the end of a month on the 1.5mg dose when I was away for two weeks, so my suppression had started to wear off a little. I was, however, pleasantly surprised to find that I still wasn’t fancying huge amounts of holiday treats. Normally I’m on the ice cream, crepes, haribo, etc like there’s no tomorrow, but I had minimal interest, and came home a pound or two lighter.

I’ve been on 4mg for almost a week now. I didn’t notice much change until yesterday, when I suddenly felt very full, disinterested in food, and had some heartburn overnight (unusual for me). Today I have eaten only a very small amount and just feel full to the point of being uncomfortable. Perhaps if I was feeling like this on holiday, I would have felt it wasn’t too much fun.

cheeseomelette · 03/09/2026 22:27

@catchingzzzedsday 2 was horrific for me too. Really sick and so fatigued.

I nearly didn’t go for a third but that was so much better. Barely any nausea at all. Same with 4th.

maybe have a day off and go again just to see?

LondonCheesecake · 03/09/2026 22:48

I moved up to 4mg the first day of my holiday. I ate some pizza, crisps and ice cream and drank a little but far less than usual. 10 days away 5lb lighter, if you're not having side effects then I'd stick with it

catchingzzzeds · 04/09/2026 06:18

@cheeseomelettethats interesting, I wonder why? I think I might be too traumatised 🤣 Without going into detail it really was horrific

cheeseomelette · 04/09/2026 08:23

I hear you. With very little warning, I projectile vomited an entire cup of coffee across my bathroom. (Sorry everyone)

Took my 5th tablet at 630am today and feel fine. A mildly bitter aftertaste is it.

I weighed this morning and am down 4lbs in a week. I may just do another month of 1.5g if this continues. I’m a bit nervous of 4g

Haalan · 04/09/2026 09:31

Day three here for me. I haven’t really had any side effects of any note. My stomach feels a little bit sore. Also feeling full much more quickly. However, I still managed to go out for a meal last night. I just ate about 2/3 of what I usually would. I could have eaten less but this was an expensive restaurant and I didn’t want to waste my money as I’d already paid!

Hello. Glad I found this thread! I am on my 2nd day of the tablet, I’ve not taken any weight loss meds before so total newbie. I haven’t the same hunger since yesterday, since the first tablet, usually I’m hungry by 9am & I wasn’t (I took the tablet at around 6.30am). Same again today.

I did feel bloated though and still a little bit today, like a heaviness feeling in my tummy. Slightly nauseous feeling last night but had banging headache last night (I do get frequent headaches anyway). Will monitor those. For those of you that have been on the tablets for a while, is it just a case of the first month, riding it out until your body get use to it? I understand it’ll be different for everyone.

I had very few side effects in the first month, just one or two episodes of diarrhoea early on. Otherwise I had good appetite suppression and reduction in food noise from the start, which started to reduce slightly towards the end of the first 30 days (but it was still completely effective, I just needed a little extra willpower towards the end). I am now on day 8 of the increased dose (4mg) and I am really hoping that things settle down a bit for me. I had no side effects for the first 4 days, but am now not feeling all that great on it. I woke in the night a couple of nights ago with a gurgling stomach and then had diarrhoea. Night before that I had heartburn in the middle of the night. I have been feeling uncomfortably full and bloated with some stomach discomfort for the past 3 days. I have hardly wanted to eat, but have felt a bit jittery so have forced something down. I do have a cold as well, so I think that is contributing to the overall feeling rubbish. I am feeling slightly less uncomfortable today, but really the appetite is very small indeed.

Anyway, it’s been 5.5 weeks and I have lost just under 12lb, which feels quite remarkable.

Lilylovetulips · 05/09/2026 15:52

I'm on day 24 of 1.5mg and my weight loss has completely stalled 😐 not lost anything this week or last week. I'm 7 lbs down since starting, eating a lot less so I don't really understand why.

I'm having awful headaches too. Nausea comes and goes but I can keep on top of that with anti sickness meds.

I've just ordered my next month of 1.5mg which I'm regretting now, wanted to keep the same dose because of side effects but now I wish I'd just oredered 4mg 🤨

harrycorry · 05/09/2026 16:36

Can I join ?
I never thought I would be brave enough to take the plunge . I've done 5 days on 1.5 . Other than headaches, no side effects. 3 pounds down good suppression. I didn't take one today , as it's Saturday but I think yesterday's is still working .
I'm away in a couple of weeks so may take every other day .
Will order 4mg next month and alternate days . I figure if I eat less 3_4 days a week it's got to be better .

cheeseomelette · 05/09/2026 19:48

Every other day is working really well for me on 1.5 but I’m only day 9.
side effects have almost gone. Today I genuinely forgot to eat until about 2pm. It’s dialled my appetite right down.
I won’t reorder until I’m nearly at the end of this dose and decide then if I’m staying on 1.5 or going to 4.
in an ideal world I’d lose 2 stone but I could live with just over one.

seeyouyesterday · 06/09/2026 08:21

Just taken my 3rd one this morning still got the bloatedness feeling. Whilst it’s not painful, it is uncomfortable (I let myself down yesterday & 3 foxes chocolate chip cookies) Anyway I’ll see how I get on & I might start taking a pill every other day see how I get on with that.

SweetBaklava · 06/09/2026 12:14

I started the last week of July and currently on the 4mg dose. Overall the main side effects for me have been indigestion and constipation, however I need to up my water intake which will hopefully improve things.
SW: 13st 9.5lbs (height 5ft)
CW: 12st 13.5lbs
Total loss is 10lbs, around 1.5lbs loss per week. I haven’t made any major dietary changes. I generally eat quite healthily at mealtimes. My downfall in the past has been snacking and the pill has massively helped with this! My intake of Coke Zero has also drastically reduced which is a very positive side effect I was not expecting!!! I’ve not visibly noticed any changes yet when I look in the mirror, but a few bits of clothing are beginning to feel less tight and I am taking that as a win! My healthy BMI range would take me down to 8.5st, but my goal at the moment is 10st, and then I’ll see… I don’t love taking these tablets but with a 4st gain over the past four years really beginning to affect my health, I think it has ultimately been the right decision.

hopefulcandidate · 06/09/2026 14:28

I started yesterday on the 1.5mg tablets. So far, so good and definitely feel less hungry today than normal. I only want to lose around 1.5 stone, but previously I have lost 4 stone on my own, but I have tried for a year to shift the last bit and just can’t do it on my own. Hopeful that the tablets will help me

Can you contact them and ask to change?

I’ve ordered the 4mg as only lost 1.5lbs in 16 days so far

wegogovy · 06/09/2026 19:51

I’m 6 weeks in on 1.5. I’ve lost 6.5kg and 3 inches off the fattest part of my tummy. Trust the process but you also need to make changes. The pill has made it easy for me to cut sugar out of my life and to only eat 2 small meals a day. I bet the losses would be bigger and faster on the jabs, but I’m happy with my progress.

loveev · 07/09/2026 06:41

I have just finished my first month on 1.5 , and I have lost 9lbs in total .

Starting 4 tomorrow . Fingers crossed for no side effects

HayleyBay · 07/09/2026 10:26

I’m halfway through week 3. I’ve had 10 days of my weight staying the same, and now it’s slightly increased from that plateau. I feel like I’ve reduced snacking and having slightly smaller portions, but obviously I’m not doing enough to move the scales! I also think its making me feel dizzy sometimes.

My 4mg dose has arrived which I will try if the dizinesses doesn’t get worse.

BlueTorch · 07/09/2026 13:33

Hello - I'm on 4th week of 1.5 and it's honestly such a relief!
From the first pill I had suppression, it was quite a shock as I was waiting for it to build up. Only one loose BM in the first week and then smooth sailing except for tiredness.
This week I have noticed it's feeling less powerful. But wow, what a joy it is to feel in control of my eating.
