Please can you let me know which pharmacies will dispense the wegovy pill to BMI 26 - 27?

Voy will do. I'm sure there're others.

SunnySunnyDayz · 23/07/2026 13:56

I'm on jabs, interested to see how you get on with the pills. Def more convenient but more complex with you having to digest them, I wondered if it'd make gastrointestinal symptoms worse?

What is the cost and can you split the tablets? My jabs are cheap because I click count to make a 4 week pen last 8 weeks (which is acceptable hygienic lifespan for a pen), wondered if you can break the larger tablets to do the same?

Hope it goes well for you all.

I was approved and dispatched within 20 minutes this morning with bolt. My BMI is 25.8 today

Started mine 10 days. I was 114kg and now weigh 109.4.

I’ve been absolutely fine taking them, no side effects and it has definitely calmed the food noise. I still feel hungry but it’s controllable, and I don’t eat half as much as I used to.
i was worried about side effects as I have a weak stomach and it doesn’t take much to start me off, but so far so good
only thing I noted is I need to drink a LOT more water x

Has anyone started taking collagen? I see it everywhere and just wondered if this was something I should consider

I take collagen every day - being a woman of a certain age it’s really good for your skin x

LoopyGremlin · 24/07/2026 18:21

I am new to WLI but have been told that I am prediabetic so need to do something! I can’t decide between the tablets and the pen. Any advice?

The Wegovy pill has a special "wrapper" called SNAC, which if broken will cause the medication to fail to absorb and either become ineffective or have reduced efficacy. The tablet needs to stay in one place once it reaches your stomach to work properly, hence the specifics about taking it with a small amount of water on an empty stomach at least 30 minutes before eating or drinking anything else.

Yellow2024 · 25/07/2026 18:59

Im on day 2. I've not tried the jabs so new to it.
So far so good. I find it makes me full really quickly but still think about food, a bit less than usual I suppose though.
2lbs down already so im pleased with that. No side affects.

I felt bloated yesterday, but that seems to have settled down now.

Helpisneeded100 · 27/07/2026 07:54

How is everyone getting on? I am hoping to start tomorrow, the pills are being deliver today. I am quite nervous though.

PersephoneParlormaid · 27/07/2026 07:58

Collagen isn’t a complete protein, you’re better eating chicken/fish/beef

On day 6 felt slightly nauseous yesterday but nothing much, feeling bloated no weight loss and feel no different otherwise. Not sure what I should be feeling at this stage. A bit disheartened that I'm not feeling anything.

Hello fellow day sixer. I think it’s really early days in this journey and it’s going to be slow and steady. I’m quite thankful that I’m not having digestive upsets and sulphur burps. I am definitely consuming less calories than I was before which is a positive.
