Anyone else waiting for this? I am, let’s start a thread to see how we all get on. I have two stone to lose. My DH said yesterday that ‘I am a bit plump’. Upset, though it’s true.

Day 6 of 4mg and I barely feel any suppression today. In fact, Ive just had a yogurt and a chocolate bar and could happily carry on. 😕

Ive started to wait almost an hour before I eat or drink after taking the pill but it doesnt seem to be making a difference.

Im either uncomfortably full or, just feel like I could eat "normal"

Checking in after 4 weeks. I think I’m giving up. I have felt like I’ve got morning sickness more often than not the last couple of weeks. I’ve not consistently lost any meaningful pounds. I’ve lost a few, then put on a couple, dropped one. It’s just not been what I was expecting. I’ve eaten the correct things, zero snacking as suppression has been decent, monitored the protein, drunk so much water, only had 2 glasses of wine all month (I’d usually have a glass most evenings), walked my socks off and yet nothing remotely amazing. Not even a solid two pounds a week.

I had such high hopes the first week. As I’ve mentioned I know a good number of people who had such success on mounjaro. I wonder if the active ingredient in wegovy, which is different to MJ just isn’t as good, or at least doesn’t suit me. But I also haven’t tried MJ so no idea on that. I’ve plenty to lose!

I think I’m going to bite the bullet and swap to the injections. I’ve a new packet of 4mg looking at me and I just don’t know if I can bring myself to start on them. I asked to stay on 1.5 but my supplier did a great job of convincing me why I should go up. But then again I’ve got them and maybe they’ll be better. But I can’t feel more nauseous than I do.
I could just about put up with it (and my hair def coming out too) if I saw it was making a good difference on the scales.

Are other feeling as deflated with the pill as me?

Yes, me.

Lost 4lbs on 1.5mg, moved up to 4mg but after 10 days have only lost 1lb. I've felt really nauseous on the higher dose, it has been hard to concentrate at work, so have decided not to carry on.

I feel really disappointed.

those of you on levothyroxine, how are you taking it while also on Wegovy tablet? Which goes first?

My GP said I could take wegovy in the morning, and levothyroxine when going to bed, as long as I had a long enough gap between my evening meal & bedtime. I don't know if that's standard advice. I decided against levothyroxine for now (I only have subclinical hypothyroidism) so I can't give feedback.

Fishhooksandjellybabies · 17/08/2026 21:08

I'm on levo after my thyroid was destroyed by radiotherapy due to a previous cancer. I take mine 2-3 hours after taking the Wegovy pill. I take that about 6.00am then take all my other meds about 9.00am. So far so good. I have maximum suppression and no apparent problems with levo so far.

barabuns · 17/08/2026 21:22

@Daisymail Im sorry you are feeling the same. I’ve felt awful all day today, and think I also won’t move up and carry on. I’ll decide in the morning.
Will you try the injections? Or did you already? I think I’m going to try them. I’ve nothing against them or needles, I just rather felt I was more in control with a pill, but I’m just not sure it’s working for me as it should.

Thanks. Sorry to hear about your cancer and thyroid.
I take 100mcg levo daily as I have hashimotos.
When do you eat breakfast? 30 minutes after the levo? As I think we’re supposed to take that on an empty stomach too.

Fishhooksandjellybabies · 17/08/2026 22:28

@Apsidistra I don't eat until midday - this is a habit since early adulthood so no hardship for me. I just have a cup of tea after my 9.00am meds [which I know isn't ideal with levo but I've been doing it for years with no apparent ill effects. Hope you're ok.

Thanks, I guess I might not necessarily feel like eating anyway 😅

I’ve been taking them for 2.5 weeks, have lost 3.5lbs. Which isn’t much but I was rapidly putting on weight so a reverse is welcome.

They do make me nauseous, so I am not taking a pill every day. I started off splitting them but I know their effectiveness is variable if you do that (though they did work for me). I now do a pill every other day. I don’t have dramatic appetite suppression but it’s enough that i can eat around 9am and go until 2pm without eating, which is unheard of for me. I usually eat lunch at 11.30am as I am so hungry. I also don’t get hungry late evening which was a big issue before.

I have a strong reaction to weight loss drugs so I know it wouldn’t work to have such a low regime for everyone.

EchoNova · 18/08/2026 07:42

Day 6 on 1.5mg (weigh day tomorrow!) and the nausea is kicking my ass today. GERD woke me up at 5am and I honestly thought I was going to choke, it was horrible and I now have awful nausea. I'm hoping it will pass soon. This is the first day of any side effects so both the gerd/acid reflux & nausea have really caught me off guard. Hoping I feel a bit better later.

Bookaholic73 · 18/08/2026 08:30

I have to say that I’m really impressed with Bolts customer service.

I’ve been chatting to one of their agents this morning and haven’t had to wait any longer than 5 mins for a reply to all of my questions this morning.

My payment went through this morning and they say that my order should be with me within a few days.

wegogovy · 18/08/2026 08:43

I’m on day 28 on 1.5 (and will be continuing at that dose for another month) No idea what my current weight is (starting weight was 79kg and I’m 5’2”) because I’m on holiday and have no scales. In the first 2 weeks I’d lost about 6kg. My tummy has shrunk! I thought it felt smaller but last night my husband said “Bloody hell, your waist has come back” I’ll take that.

NoMoreCakeForBreakfast · 18/08/2026 09:35

On mid way through week 4 of 1.5mg. I lost 8 lbs in be the end of week ive lost nothing since and my eating has been really good. Ive upped my fruit intake as I was suffering from constipation (still am but hopefully it will ease). I did but another month at 1.5mg but as soon as I can reorder, im going to reorder the 4mg. I still dont feel hungry very often but im getting the urge to binge again. I had high hopes but feeling a little deflated

WildImaginings · 18/08/2026 10:45

1 week in and I’ve lost 7lb. Thrilled with that, I do have a very high starting weight though.

I do this too, wegovy in the morning and levo before bed

No to the injections purely from a financial point of view. I'm disappointed but glad that I tried, otherwise I would have always wondered. Need a Plan B now!

LondonCheesecake · 19/08/2026 00:22

barabuns I'm feeling disappointed too. I had a good start with the 1.5mg and lost 5.5lb but this last 7-10 days I've had zero suppression and craved sugar. I suspect I've regained the 5.5lbs, too scared to check. Bolt customer service said is usual not to feel any benefit on 1.5 (but the would say that!) and I've already received my 4mg so I'm going to give that a go but if things don't improve this month I'll stop taking it (although I have no idea what the alternative is!)

I also take levo. At Bolts advice I was taking it in the evening, 3 hours after eating or drinking, which wasn't ideal. My GP has said to take Wegovy first and Levo 30-60 minutes later but have regular blood tests.

H202too · 19/08/2026 08:56

The MJ jabs are like magic compound to this . I am going to try a month on 25mg to see if I can actually get any suppression.
I just don't want to pay £300 a month.

EchoNova · 19/08/2026 09:39

Weigh day today after 1 week on 1.5mg and I'm down 3lbs which I am thrilled with.

Had nausea yesterday and some acid reflux but I had my dinner late on Monday night so I'm putting it down to that. But so far so good.

I’m on Day 1 of the 4mg and had no side effects yet. I’m away from home so have not weighed in for a week, will be interesting to see if I’ve dropped anymore lbs. I’m definitely not eating as much overs in the past four weeks. Am hoping for a stronger kick from the 4mg though.

tomorrowchild · 19/08/2026 17:21

I’m on day 6 of 1.5mg. Side effects kicked in yesterday. Felt nauseous and belly felt weird, like swirly? Also kept feeling hot flushes. It almost felt like I had a hangover. No headaches but did have muscle aches on day 2 and 3. Eating 2 small meals a day, no breakfast. Not feeling hungry as such but more like empty belly at meal times. I could take or leave the meals but I choose to eat it all because I’ve always loved my food so I don’t want to waste what I’ve cooked if that makes sense? Food noise pretty much gone. I’m surrounded by food at work but I’m finding it easier not to give in to temptation. Is it placebo though? I don’t know. Had a cheeky weigh today and almost 3 pounds down since Friday. I was calorie counting before this(with the occasional binge hence trying the pills) and dropped half a stone over 5ish weeks so I’m thinking it’s not water weight I’ve lost this week

Also suffering with the dry mouth! So im drinking so much water!!

VideoVox · 19/08/2026 19:10

I made a big bowl of sugar-free jelly and have a spoonful if I feel nauseous, it works for me.

I really like the pill. I’ve lost 4 pounds in 2.5 weeks which is great, as I wasn’t that active for a big chunk of it as it’s been so hot. Get good suppression without it being overwhelming, and am not turning to food every time I feel anxiety or boredom. I found MJ way too powerful. I’m taking a pill every other day instead of every day.

snoopydoopydo · 19/08/2026 22:19

I'm starting 4mg tomorrow. Still have around 15 days of 1.5 left, but suppression has almost gone. I'm slightly worried, as I initially had some pretty horrible side effects on the lower dose, so not sure what to expect tomorrow.
