Anyone else waiting for this? I am, let’s start a thread to see how we all get on. I have two stone to lose. My DH said yesterday that ‘I am a bit plump’. Upset, though it’s true.

Ah I don’t know what’s going on!

I posted here for my first week on the pills at 1.5, saying it was going really well. No side effects and suppression was good.

I then went away to stay with friends for a week and didn’t take the pills.
I’ve been back in them now for 5 days and have had zero suppression at all!

I’m tempted to take 2 pills, so 3mg, tomorrow.

I’d double check that because I don’t think you’re supposed to take 2 doses.

At least that’s what it says on the Superdrug website.

I think you’d just have to pick up and start taking one daily again as normal.

WildImaginings · 15/08/2026 17:02

I am on day 5 of 1.5mg. After reading various tips on here, I’ve been waiting at least an hour before drinking anything for max absorption.

Starting weight was 21st 5lbs. I’ve always been bigger, but have piled on over 5st since 2020, largely in part to WFH with a far more stressful and time consuming job!

I will do a proper weigh in at the 1 week mark, but I stepped on the scales this morning and have lost 4lb so far! Thrilled with that.

Enormous reduction in what I’m eating; less than half the calories. I’m still enjoying my food but not eating as much or as often. Snacking (my downfall) has cut down dramatically.

As I said on the other thread, I don’t even want to be ‘slim’ particularly- I’d just like to be able to fit into my clothes! I was far more comfortable in my own skin pre lockdown.

I’m going on holiday at the end of September and I would absolutely love to be below 20st before I go. I’m then back for a week and then going away again, so I’m determined to do the best I possibly can.

I know, I really should stick to the 1.5. I’ll do that, but if this continues then I’ll go to the next dose next month.

Hey hope you don't mind me joining. I've started 1.5 today 😊 just wondered how long it has taken for suppression to kick in with everyone? No side effects for me today and no change to appetite/hunger.

Hi, I'm on day 5 of 1.5 and I'm starring to feel suppression now, also did yesterday. Haven't been hungry at all or wanted to snack. Just eating little and often to keep on top of the nausea I'm experiencing

I'm exhausted though, feel like I could sleep.all day. Has anyone else had this, will it pass? Can I try something like electrolytes to help?

I got days where I was soooo tired on 1.5mg. It should pass as your bidy adjusts. Im on 4mg now and dont get the tiredness

Bonnybonsai · 15/08/2026 23:02

Been on 1.5 for just over 3 weeks now, and it has become a lot less effective over the last few days. I ate 2200 cal today and could so easily keep eating more.

I am due on my period, and tend to get hungrier around this time of the month anyway, so that may be playing a role. I'd be interested if there's any research about wegovy and menstrual cycles.

Hi all, hope ok to join? Just waiting for bolt to deliver my first dose. Not the best communication from them to be honest. Does anyone know if they deliver royal mail tracked 24 or just normal royal mail? trying to work out if it will arrive today. Looking forward to starting but think I may miss coffee straight away on getting up!

Thank you so much! I'm so worried this will not work for me and it will just be a waste of money. I have a special event in just 4 weeks time and really hope i can lose some weight by then i would be over the moon with half a stone. I want to lose 2.5 stone in total.

Felt a little nauseous waking up this morning doesn't help its time of the month too. Taking my twins (4yo) to the zoo today so hoping the nausea passes.

Hey mine were sent 24 hour tracked and had to sign for them :)

That's similar to my story. I'd been about 14 stone for a long time & knew it was too heavy but didn't feel too bad & didn't really act, then WFH came along & in 18 months I was 17.5 stone. You just move so much less.

Poppycorn123 · 16/08/2026 09:26

Day 4 for me on 4 mg. I'm feeling really hungry 😕 I dont feel my appetite is very supressed but maybe this tablet is a slow burner. Perhaps on the highest dose it will work better 🤔 Has anyone moved up to 9mg yet?

user1468915974 · 16/08/2026 09:27

@VanillaSunsetVibes Ive lost half a stone in 5wks. I did feel towards the end of 1.5mg that they weren't working as well as they did at the start so that helped my decision to move up a dose. With my nausea it helped to take sips of water often and I aimed for 1.5ltr a day and I felt better on days where I had a higher protein intake.

I was really worried too that it would all be a waste of money but I'm chuffed with my loss so far and although its not stopped me craving takeaways, Im glad that I can still eat then albeit just a very small portion and still see the scales go down. Good Luck

maximc · 16/08/2026 09:30

I'm heading into week 4. I take my 1.5 about 6am, get brilliant suppression for around 10 hours, & feel more hungry in the evening. I identified it thanks to a forum tip. I remember the same thing with injections the last two days of the week on the lower doses. I'm going up to 4 to hopefully get 24 hour suppression.

Summerstarter · 16/08/2026 12:20

Thank you, they have just arrived- good subtle packaging.

browneyes77 · 16/08/2026 16:00

Didn’t feel like I’d lost anything this week but got on the scales this morning and had lost another 2lbs 🤗

So that’s 7lbs (or half a stone as I prefer to say, as it sounds more 🤣) in 3 weeks.

10 days left of the 1.5mg and then going up to the 4mg. They should arrive in the next couple of days.

The appetite suppression has been quite good on the 1.5mg. I have felt fairly full after meals and can go much longer before wanting to eat anything. Hoping it’s stronger on the 4mg though 🤞🏼

EchoNova · 17/08/2026 07:37

Day 6 for me on 1.5mg, waiting longer to eat after taking the tablet really helps my supression. I'm taking it at 7am and not eating or drinking until 9am. I find the supression very subtle, I don't think I can feel it but then start to eat my lunch or dinner and can't finish it. So far so good on the side effects. Not expecting much loss this week though as I was out Saturday night and had a good few drinks but we'll see on weigh day.

Bookaholic73 · 17/08/2026 07:42

After ordering 1.5 again for the 2nd month, I contacted Bolt yesterday and asked for them to change it to 4mg.

I did say I’d happily stay on 1.5, but that was before the suppression stopped.

barabuns · 17/08/2026 09:58

Checking in after 4 weeks. I think I’m giving up. I have felt like I’ve got morning sickness more often than not the last couple of weeks. I’ve not consistently lost any meaningful pounds. I’ve lost a few, then put on a couple, dropped one. It’s just not been what I was expecting. I’ve eaten the correct things, zero snacking as suppression has been decent, monitored the protein, drunk so much water, only had 2 glasses of wine all month (I’d usually have a glass most evenings), walked my socks off and yet nothing remotely amazing. Not even a solid two pounds a week.

I had such high hopes the first week. As I’ve mentioned I know a good number of people who had such success on mounjaro. I wonder if the active ingredient in wegovy, which is different to MJ just isn’t as good, or at least doesn’t suit me. But I also haven’t tried MJ so no idea on that. I’ve plenty to lose!

I think I’m going to bite the bullet and swap to the injections. I’ve a new packet of 4mg looking at me and I just don’t know if I can bring myself to start on them. I asked to stay on 1.5 but my supplier did a great job of convincing me why I should go up. But then again I’ve got them and maybe they’ll be better. But I can’t feel more nauseous than I do.
I could just about put up with it (and my hair def coming out too) if I saw it was making a good difference on the scales.

Are other feeling as deflated with the pill as me?

H202too · 17/08/2026 10:51

Day 2 for mw on 9mg after changing from MJ injection for 2 years on and off. Literally nothing yet. I could binge all day. Aghhhh

Overthebow · 17/08/2026 10:52

I’m going to move up to 4mg but got another 1.5 weeks of 1.5mg left. I’ve lost 6lb in almost 3 weeks and suppression has been good, but I’m worried it will start dropping off. I haven’t had any proper side effects on 1.5mg. I have PCOS, ADHD and ASD which means my eating habits are usually awful and I put on wrought quickly and struggle to lose it, so this is life changing for me.

Bonnybonsai · 17/08/2026 10:55

Anyone with Bolt, when did your second order get shipped? I reordered on the first day I could. I have a week's worth of tablets left now and haven't seen anything about my second box being approved/sent, which is making me a bit nervous

I'm with Bolt and also filled in the check in as soon as it was available. It got to 5 days of pills left and the order bit of the app hadn't changed at all and there was no news of a delivery. I emailed them on a Friday lunchtime to check all was OK, they replied within minutes and said there was a problem with it going through. They sorted it and I had a delivery by Saturday afternoon.
