Anyone else waiting for this? I am, let’s start a thread to see how we all get on. I have two stone to lose. My DH said yesterday that ‘I am a bit plump’. Upset, though it’s true.

Day 30 for me - the pill itself has been great, i never get blood sugar crashes, clothes are feeling looser, definitely feel like my belly is deflating. Chose to stick with 1.5mg and with Bolt for ease despite the price doubling.

However - poor experience with Bolt. They took my money on time but have not got the order to me on time - no pill tomorrow!? No comms from them, no clue when they might turn up? I am switching provider. Hopefully i either get a refund or a box of pills to have in stock.

Edited

I had a similar problem with my first refill not being dispatched. I emailed them on Friday to ask what had happened as I only had a few tablets left, they apologised, put it through and it was delivered on Saturday.

Fightingmydoctor · 10/08/2026 10:30

Unfortunately Bolt's response has been pathetic - they say they will wait for royal mail to return the pills, assess them, then re-despatch them!? No timeframe...what if they never get returned? Surely sending a new pack immediately would have been the better response? I pointed this out, they were unmoved and I've cancelled the subscription entirely. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Beesclover · 10/08/2026 11:45

I'm on day 4 of 4mg. The appetite suppression is definitely stronger, but I'm definitely experiencing more side effects - dry mouth, burpy, and constipated. In no way are they affecting every day life though. I've lost 2kg in the first 34 days, not great but I guess it equates to roughly 1lb a week, so slow and steady.

Ah slightly different as mine hadn't even been dispatched whereas your seem to be lost in the post

Glenthebattleostrich · 10/08/2026 13:04

Day 14 and i have felt horrible for the last 2 days. Headache, sickness, vomity burps. Seriously considering if the side effects are worth it.

They're not lost as such, royal mail is claiming there is an 'issue' with the package and is returning it to bolt. Theres nothing stopping bolt sending some more out today, I dont have to have that exact packet and if its damaged i wont be anyway, they just dont care about my continuity, or business, it seems 🤷‍♀️

How are you finding energy levels? You able to exercise ir do more than previously?

Fightingmydoctor · 10/08/2026 16:21

Energy levels have been very improved, I used to need an afternoon nap and would be in bed and spark out by 9 - I now dont need the nap and can stay up til 10/11 like a grownup 😅 i havent managed more exercise yet because i've been wrestling other health concerns and an unusually high workload but the potential is there!

applecharlotte · 10/08/2026 18:41

Yes I've had stable energy levels throughout the day. Still waking up very early but that's thanks to peri Confused

Started my first pill today . I received it at the beginning of July , but read about the side effects . So decided to take it after my holiday .

At the end of May I was 16 Stone the heaviest iv ever been, and being 5ft 6 , I looked and felt awful , something clicked and I changed my diet completely , low carb , high protein and I started the couch to 5k. By the end of July I was 14 Stone 9 pounds . Iv just got back from a two week all inclusive and Iv managed to maintain that weight .

i was a size 18, and now a size 16, and I can get into a size 14 but they are a bit tight . My main aim in taking the pill is to cut food noise down and my absolute dream would be to be in a size 10/12 .

Well 2 weeks in and I’ve lost 5lbs

I started the year at 14st 9lbs (I’m 5ft 7).

I managed to lose a stone myself in the new year but then got stuck. And put a few pounds back on after a holiday with too much wine!

Started these pills on 27th July at 13st 10lbs

Now down to 13st 5lbs

Not had any major side effects, and tried to drink more water to keep the constipation at bay!

I’ve focussed my food around high protein and fibre. So lots of Salmon, Chicken, Tuna and poached/boiled Eggs with veggies or salad.

So happy so far 😊

I need to up my exercise game though as I haven’t done any. Mainly because my sports bra is too small and I need a new one! (And those Shock Absorber bras ain’t cheap!!)

Lilylovetulips · 11/08/2026 08:28

Morning. Thank you for the advice a few pages back about having taken the W and MJ injections previously and being unwell.

I've taken the plunge and taken my first pill this morning 😊 Fingers crossed there won't be any side effects, I have anti sickness pills on standby 🤞

I have around 3 stone to lose

I wonder is it really the pills or just eating more healthily.

HurrahforHollywood · 11/08/2026 08:53

I wonder is it really the pills or just eating more healthily.

I did wonder that myself at first.

But I have noticed that I don’t snack as much. I could easily nail several bags of crisps in a day, before.

I was eating fairly healthy anyway, my issue was more portion sizes. Now I’m full after a smaller portion.

I’m not feeling very hungry through most of the day and now, after I’ve eaten - even the smallest of meals, I feel super full and have no desire to raid the crisp cupboard as much! I also don’t have as much desire to drink wine. I’ve had some but can easily stop at 2 glasses and not want any more.

I could easily go through most of the day hardly eating anything. I just don’t feel very hungry most of the time. So it’s definitely having an impact!

digitalkiosk · 11/08/2026 11:51

I am 2.5 weeks in and have definitely started to feel hunger again in the last few days. I am quite hungry just now and that’s after breakfast this morning. That’s a definite swing since starting.

LondonCheesecake · 11/08/2026 12:54

digital I'm definitely hitting my usual giving up point. I'm really trying to not undo the 5.5lbs lost and clinging to the hope that next week I start 4mg and that may kick start things again. I still don't fancy alcohol but the want to boredom eat is returning.

Yetanotherone12 · 11/08/2026 13:24

I’m finished week 5- 1 week of 4mg.

lost nothing this week which has suprised me I’m definitely eating less, and have restarted my gym classes after a break. 6lbs in total which I suppose in 5 weeks is slow and steady.

feeling better, although still a bit nauseous. Nothing unmanageable, but unless it improves I don’t think I’ll risk 9mg.

maximc · 11/08/2026 13:29

Three weeks in I find it impossible to know if the pills are helping or not because so much of it is subconscious. For example I went into a supermarket to buy yoghurt, bought yoghurt, & left without even thinking about crisps or chocolate whereas before I'd have likely treated myself to a bag or bar or both. If I was trying to lose weight, I might not have, but I think I'd have had the thought & then at some point I'd act on it. Hard to know though!

LouisaMayAlcott · 11/08/2026 16:04

I’ve just finished week 5, lost a total of 12lbs. I lost more in the first couple of weeks then a pound or two per week afterwards. I’ve stayed on 1.5mg as it seems to be working okay.

Fightingmydoctor · 11/08/2026 18:10

I have skipped a pill today due to the Bolt fiasco (medexpress sorted me out, arrived overnight so ready for tomorrow. Felt sick after a slice of eggy bread for breakfast (i had eggs to use up, thats not a usual breakfast for me) and then felt very confident about monstering leftover pizza for lunch but got halfway through and chucked the rest in the bin. Still not feeling hungry now, so i'd say the effects last for at least a day.

I've been very thirsty in general, think that might be fatburning because apparently you wee and breathe out the burnt up fat. I did really well on keto last summer and remember being as thirsty when I was losing.

Britishtrees · 11/08/2026 18:30

FlorenceLyons · 07/08/2026 08:54

End of week 3 for me. 1lb lost this week; 9lb overall. It’s definitely slowed, and I’m wondering if I’ve done the right thing by ordering 1.5mg again for next month, but keep trying to remind myself that I’m aiming for steady and permanent, not rapid and unsustainable. I had my first glass of wine for three weeks last night and a (pretty sensible) dinner out with friends, and my weight stayed steady that day, so I’ll count that as a win! And I can definitely feel the difference in my clothes, which I’m enjoying.

Nearly 4 weeks in didn’t lose any weight over last week, although calorieshave been kept to 1000-1250. Cravings returning. Had a binge weekend-big event food and drink galore. No side effects from eating loads. Now regretting reorder of 1.5. Wonder if I should double it after a week or so before upping to 4

digitalkiosk · 11/08/2026 18:52

Has anyone pondered the 4 but cut it in 2 to increase marginally from the 1.5?

I haven’t but I am considering alternating between the 1.5 and the 4 every other day. I ordered another month of the 1.5 but wish I just went straight to the 4 now

Have you noticed a difference in appetite suppression at all going up to the 4mg?

Curious to know how much stronger it feels from the 1.5mg dose

Not really tbh. I’m definitely eating less and more in control of my appetite- for example I’ve had my dinner and now feel full. Before I’d be hunting for snacks, or a bit of toast before bed.

it’s like others have said though, it’s hard to know what’s the pills as it just feels normal.
