Anyone else waiting for this? I am, let’s start a thread to see how we all get on. I have two stone to lose. My DH said yesterday that ‘I am a bit plump’. Upset, though it’s true.

I haven’t but I am considering alternating between the 1.5 and the 4 every other day. I ordered another month of the 1.5 but wish I just went straight to the 4 now

Thanks. The 1.5 has been great for 2 weeks but I am hungry the last couple of days. I am not craving anything, struggling to decide what to eat but definitely hungry.

Has anyone pondered the 4 but cut it in 2 to increase marginally from the 1.5?

Yes I was thinking this. I asked earlier in thread and someone kindly replied saying it wouldn’t work. Will try and find

The only reason it isn’t recommended to break up pills is because they have a special make up (SNAC) that helps them absorb properly.

If you break them up or crush them, it disturbs this and they won’t absorb properly and therefore won’t work properly.

Not really tbh. I’m definitely eating less and more in control of my appetite- for example I’ve had my dinner and now feel full. Before I’d be hunting for snacks, or a bit of toast before bed.

it’s like others have said though, it’s hard to know what’s the pills as it just feels normal.

I’m the same! 😂

I can usually eat my tea and then raid the crisp cupboard later. But I’ve found I’m rarely doing this on the 1.5mg (think it’s happened twice. Could be force of habit as I don’t feel hungry when I’ve actually gone for the crisps).

I’ve got to order my next dose this week, so I’m going to move up to the 4mg, but was just curious on how strong the appetite suppression was on the higher dose.

I had a similar problem with my first refill not being dispatched. I emailed them on Friday to ask what had happened as I only had a few tablets left, they apologised, put it through and it was delivered on Saturday.

Mine wouldn’t have arrived on time either. I counted, realised how many I had left and emailed them to bring forward the dispatch date. They were really quick and took the payment earlier, in order to get the pills to me in time.

I have definitely noticed a big difference going up to 4mgs. I am on day 4 and have already lost 2 lbs. I lost a total of 4lbs by the end of a month on 1.5mgs. I have been waiting at least an hour after taking the pill before eating or drinking though to give my body the best chance to absorb as much as possible of the active ingredient. I believe that this is contributing to the strong appetite suppression that I am currently experiencing. I have had no side effects and am having to make myself eat the two small protein heavy meals I am currently managing to eat. I;'m really pleased with how 4mgs is going so far but it's early days - I really hope this continues. I have 3 stones to lose.

I'm at 4 week mark (tomorrow) and have lost 10lbs on 1.5 pill. Moving up to 4 on Saturday and looking forward to feeling more resistance. I'm with Bolt and have had no issues as at all with them. Also have a discount code if anyone wants one, means I get £40 off my next order.

Wow that is brilliant! I started today (just took my first pill) and if I have the same result I'll be thrilled. Do you have many side effects?

Headaches the first week but think it was because I was not drinking enough water. Burping and farting but that's eased now. Really feeling good.

tomorrowchild · 12/08/2026 09:37

Just been approved for the pills with voy. So happy but nervous. I can’t help feeling like it’s not going to work for me. I don’t know why. I think it’s because I love eating so much! I only need to lose around 2 stone but have struggled so much sticking to a diet. Any advice before I start them would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve been on them for the same amount of time and have lost the exact same amount of weight as you. Also with no major side effects 😊

Thehumblesmidge · 12/08/2026 10:42

Started 4mg today and dreading the nausea kicking in again 😬

user1468915974 · 12/08/2026 11:20

@Thehumblesmidge I started 4mg today too and feel slightly queasy but so so full. Can't even bear to think about lunch right now.
Feel very tired which is probably the only side effect I experienced on 1.5mg

SweetBaklava · 12/08/2026 11:38

I’m plodding along on 1.5mg, overall loss 4.5lb in 2.5 weeks and no major side effects - just a bit of tiredness and mild nausea here and there. I’ve been approved for 4mg and I think that’s probably the right decision, will start when my 1.5mgs run out. Overall I’m happy with how it’s going - the trajectory is downwards which it hasn’t been for a long time 😊 BTW I’m with Superdrug online and have found them great so far - no issues with delivery etc. My GP has been very supportive and is following my progress with great interest 😄 I’m her only patient on the pills so far that she’s aware of.

Today day 2 happy to say no side effects currently but also no difference in appetite, eat healthy in week and excercise so the test will be the weekend It is my birthday at the weekend so will be pleased if no side effects but just hope pills are still working even if it is just will power alone stopping me feel hungary

loriat · 12/08/2026 12:42

I’m on day 13 of 1.5 mg and lost 5lbs. I haven’t had any side effects and for the first few days didn’t feel any suppression either, felt just as hungry as ever, it was determination not to cheat that stopped me from over eating.

For the last few days things seem to have changed, not had any appetite, feeling quite bloated and struggled to eat lunch today despite having had a very small breakfast. No desire to drink alcohol, though have cut down on drinking a lot in the last couple of years anyway.

Of course, things may change again. It’s quite bizarre, always having had a good appetite to not be able to eat. I still think about food but after a small amount I can’t manage any more.

Namechangewegovyjune26 · 12/08/2026 12:48

I started on 10 July, took 1.5mg until 7 August. I had a few days gap and started my 4mg today.

SW 74kg
CW 68.9kg

so 68.9 kg = 5.1 kg / 11lb lost. I thought the 4 day gap might set me back but seems to be ok 🤞

new symptom of the 4mg seems to be acid reflux so will have to keep an eye on that. Threw up in my mouth a little during body pump 🤣

Thehumblesmidge · 12/08/2026 12:56

So far so good on the 4mg. I felt rotten after a few hours of taking 1.5 for the first time, but for now I feel fine. Hope that continues! 🙏🏻

Lilylovetulips · 12/08/2026 14:16

I'm on day 2 of 1.5 and finding myself really hungry all the time! Like nothing I eat satisfies me. Hoping it will pass.

Feel a bit queasy but other than that OK.

I’m on same day as you . Iv not noticed any change either, still hungry and thinking about food . Iv got a headache . I’m drinking a lot of sparkling water

Frannieisnthappy · 12/08/2026 23:16

Day 6 of 1.5 and have had some gas, queasiness and upset tummy.

Feelings of being full but am still eating and want to eat if that makes sense.

PillPoppin · 13/08/2026 00:23

So, I think I'm 6 weeks in on the 1.5 and had ordered the 4.0 for my next dose but my symptoms have come back in HARD this week. I have felt nauseous and super full very quickly all week. I've lost 11lbs altogether so wondering if it's because I've lost weight (am now officially in the healthy zone of a BMI but I ideally wanted to lose another half stone before I give up) that these symptoms are coming up? The one thing I know is I don't want to go up a dose! Should I just accept that it's done its job and it's time for me to do mine?!

PillPoppin · 13/08/2026 00:44

The best way of describing it is I'm in early pregnancy when I feel sick, full and restless but I'm 53, in perimenopause and currently in my period lol.

Solasum · 13/08/2026 07:24

I am five days in to second month of 1.5.

I don’t feel acute hunger anymore it seems. I am away with friends this week and haven’t wanted to eat sweet things, crisps, alcohol etc. I went into this wanting to eat better and lose gradually, and not make my family think I am eating weirdly. All achieved so far.

My skin is looking better than it has for years, I suspect as I am not eating sugar, whereas before it was almost every day.

My clothes are definitely fitting better, though still a way to go. Still no visible difference though. I am envious of a PP whose friends noticed!
