Anyone else waiting for this? I am, let’s start a thread to see how we all get on. I have two stone to lose. My DH said yesterday that ‘I am a bit plump’. Upset, though it’s true.

Day 23, only 4lbs off, which I know I could have done on my own, but this has felt effortless. However, the food noise has crept back a bit today, which is a bit of a shock. I already have my next pack and I've stayed on 1.5, which in hindsight, may have been a bit of a mistake.

G1nF1zz · 06/08/2026 18:17

I'm on day 25. Had a weekend away and a gain which I'm okay with. Didn't overindulge as much as I would normally but have come back feeling like snacking more each day.
My 4mg order arrived today so starting those next week. Don't mind chipping away at the losses weekly but would love to lose half a stone before I go away next month.

wegogovy · 06/08/2026 20:15

Day 16. I’m swinging between 4 and 5kg off. Can’t really see it, but I can feel it in my clothes. Since starting I’ve kept my calories less than my TDEE, made better choices with food and I’ve worked out every day. I’m going to go up to 4 next month to really turbo charge this.

Does anyone else find the suppression really uneven? Yesterday I requested to move up to 4mg as I've felt the last couple of days I've been using more and more willpower to get me through as I haven't really noticed much suppression since Saturday. Today (day 18) we were in Boots to get lunch, I didn't feel particularly hungry but chose one of the all fruit thing (210g). I ate that but then couldn't fit the drink in. Before that I've had 2 coffees since I got up at 7. I now feel a bit uncomfortable and worried that 4mg might be a mistake.

@LondonCheesecake this is exactly where I am!

Little to no suppression for about a week and then today...boom! Didn't want to finish a meal at all. I keep logging on to reorder and move to 4mg and then chicken out and put it off because I'm not sure if sticking to 1.5mg will be enough.

Thehumblesmidge · 06/08/2026 21:50

Suppression varies for me too. But then I do have to stop and notice big changes. For example, I had a pasta dish when I was out for lunch today, followed by an ice cream. It was a fantastic family day out and I loved having a treat. My first thought was “oh no, I’ve eaten too much and the pill wasn’t working well today”

Then I checked myself… Actually I had a very light breakfast and the pasta dish was only ¾ finished. Normally it would have all been eaten plus starters/sides!

poolcrew · 07/08/2026 07:35

Week 4 weigh in… I’ve lost another pound, so that’s a stone in 4 weeks.

I’m 5 foot 5, SW 12st 10lbs
week 1 - lost 5lbs
week 2 - lost 5lbs
week 3 - lost 3lbs
week 4 - lost 1lb

i assumed it would slow as the initial loss was crazy. We go away in 2 weeks and I was hoping to get to 11 stone 7. I’m doing one more month of 1.5 as don’t want to be flying long haul with any new side effects. I’m fully expecting to gain while away as I swell when I fly and retain so much water.

I’m still not drinking alcohol or eating chocolate. Am going to try and keep that up when I’m away as some sort of damage limitation but I’m determined to stick to my new regime as best as I can.

people have commented on my weight loss as you can really see it on my face and décolletage. Just need it to start going from my stomach and thighs!!

FlorenceLyons · 07/08/2026 08:54

End of week 3 for me. 1lb lost this week; 9lb overall. It’s definitely slowed, and I’m wondering if I’ve done the right thing by ordering 1.5mg again for next month, but keep trying to remind myself that I’m aiming for steady and permanent, not rapid and unsustainable. I had my first glass of wine for three weeks last night and a (pretty sensible) dinner out with friends, and my weight stayed steady that day, so I’ll count that as a win! And I can definitely feel the difference in my clothes, which I’m enjoying.

newtwobe · 08/08/2026 12:13

Hi, been following this thread for a while. Have done 3.5weeks on 1.5mg and am now on 3rd day of 4mg.
I was disappointed whilst on 1.5mg as it didn’t seem to make any difference, nor did day 1 of 4mg, but yesterday and today there has been a noticeable change in food noise and appetite.
Wanted to let people know in case they were like me and not feeling much effect.

Glenthebattleostrich · 08/08/2026 12:54

Day 12 and feel really rough today. Very tired and headachy. Feel a bit sick too.

Still limited food noise and dont feel luke eating.

millym102 · 08/08/2026 16:02

Today is my last day on 1.5. which is a bit of a relief as I feel like it has completely stopped having any effect. I've just got back from a holiday in Norfolk and ate pretty much normally and craved chocolate and wine and beer. I guess some of it was because I didn't want the rest of the family to feel like I was denying myself stuff so I'd have a pudding when really I could have happily not. Either way feeling a bit rubbish about it all. I felt really hopeful and positive a couple of weeks ago but not any more. Scared to weigh myself.
Anyway, tomorrow I am starting on 4mg and really hoping it makes a difference. I've got so many clothes in my wardrobe I'm dying to be able to wear again.
Has anyone switched up to 4? How has it gone? Thanks!

Positivepositron · 08/08/2026 17:01

Can anyone tell me are the tablets small and easy to swallow?
Are they chalky or shiny?

AprilFlowersMay · 08/08/2026 17:24

@Positivepositron they are very small and chalky (the size of antihistamine tablets). Easy to swallow but they are very bitter and leave an aftertaste, no matter how quickly you swallow them. You also have to limit how much water you have when you take them, so if you struggle to swallow pills generally and solve that problem by drinking 3 pints of water at the same time and hoping that it will just go down, that might be a challenge!

Positivepositron · 08/08/2026 17:29

Thanks for the info I'm useless at swallowing chalky tablets, I don't use water to swallow though I never find it helpful. When you say very small is it like the size of a contraceptive pill? That's the smallest thing I can think of. I don't think I'd be able to swallow it regardless though I can't swallow chalky paracetamols.

AprilFlowersMay · 08/08/2026 17:44

@Positivepositron yes, about the size of a contraceptive pill. I think you would need water: I can't imagine them just washing down (and maybe that's why you struggle with chalky pills).

How did you feel after eating like that? I’ve only a few days left of 1.5 and going up to 4, but if I tried to eat like I used to on 1.5 I wouldn’t physically be able to and I’d also suffer terribly for it. I’d feel so full like all the food was just sitting on my chest, it would be terribly uncomfortable, and I’d have horrendous trapped wind and heartburn. Did you suffer no ill effects afterwards?

That’s interesting I’ve never noticed any taste or aftertaste from them.

VideoVox · 08/08/2026 18:43

I haven’t noticed a taste either. I take a sip of water first, swallow it, then put pill on tongue and quickly wash it down with another sip of water.

I pop it in my mouth and then take a gulp of water.

There’s a slight bitter taste, but it’s really not as bad to me, as some folk have said it is.

@millym102 Ive just ordered 4mg.
I was yo-yo-ing between feeling nothing and feeling good.

Ate a full pizza and a pint of cider at lunch today and that definitely made my mind up that 1.5mg was not working for me

I find this fascinating as the taste of them is making me feel unwell when I even think about it. I think my side effects, which to be fair were pretty minimal, the occasional bout of nausea (one day it was awful but otherwise manageable) and a headache on a couple of the early days, are mainly from the taste of the tablet. I’ve said it before as odd as it sounds but I can smell the taste all day. It’s the taste of the tabs that if I was going to give up on them would be the main reason.

No, no heart burn or anything. I wouldn't say I was excessively eating. But definitely not diet eating. Like bacon sandwich for breakfast etc.
Today though I felt bloated and gross and didn't eaten much. Tomorrow is another day and the new regime of 4mg.

gratefulmezze · 09/08/2026 08:47

As I had not long stopped the jabs, I was started on 4mg and found it very effective with no side effects. I've now gone up to 9mg and found the suppression too much - it was very hard to eat at all.

So I bought a pill splitter on Amazon and have been taking half (so 4.5mg)...it's been working very well for me.
I wondered if splitting the pills would hamper absorption in any way but it hasn't.

Fightingmydoctor · 10/08/2026 08:15

Day 30 for me - the pill itself has been great, i never get blood sugar crashes, clothes are feeling looser, definitely feel like my belly is deflating. Chose to stick with 1.5mg and with Bolt for ease despite the price doubling.

However - poor experience with Bolt. They took my money on time but have not got the order to me on time - no pill tomorrow!? No comms from them, no clue when they might turn up? I am switching provider. Hopefully i either get a refund or a box of pills to have in stock.

LondonCheesecake · 10/08/2026 08:25

I started off well but I'm finding things difficult now and can't wait for 4mg to arrive. I'm hungry and have zero appetite suppression. I'm not calorie counting but I know I'm making good choices but the weight has stopped coming off. The only plus is that I still have no interest in alcohol. I still have 8 days of 1.5 to go

millym102 · 10/08/2026 08:51

After fretting about how much is eaten on holiday, I just finally weighed myself and I had lost over a kilo since my last check in. Relieved and happy about that. I guess considering all the activity I was doing, the eating was fine. I would have lost more if I'd been healthier, yes. But it seems like it was still having an effect but I still had a holiday.

Day 2 of 4mg today. Yesterday I did feel a bit queasy but that could maybe have just been the heat.

Either way, more positive today.
