I defo felt less hungry yesterday and I have not felt hungry yet this morning (usually wake up hungry!)

Lovemuesli · 18/05/2026 08:28

I'm on week 9 of Wegovy. I did the 0.25 for 4 weeks, then the 0.5 for 4 weeks and yesterday did my first 1.0.

For the first time, I was sick a couple of times, and my appetite has definitely reduced.

So far I have lost 2.1 kg but I really hope I can lose more. I'm currently 72 kg and my goal weight is 57 kg. I am 4'11" tall / short.

Learningdutch · 18/05/2026 08:50

Jab 3 this morning. Main SE for me is feeling cold. Still seem to be eating almost normally though had lunch at 4 yesterday and didn't have anything else before bed.

Cloud1921 · 18/05/2026 09:48

I’m on day 6 and the suppression is so strong for me. I’m struggling to even eat 1000 calories a day without feeling like I’m going to be sick. I’m really worried about taking the next dose tomorrow. Hoping that it doesn’t make it worse.
other than that no side effects so far other than needing to burp loads

Ecgx · 18/05/2026 11:43

I was doing so well on the second jab on the thigh but last night woke up 4am bad tummy cramps from gas and the need to go toilet. I think it was the Pepsi max I had so I am thinking those are a no well especially that 48 hour window after the jab or it will repeat it. Shame as this 2nd jab from Friday I was feeling fine up until this! I do think I am super sensitive to this and I will need to drink/eat incredibly clean to avoid bad side effects which is fine as it is the purpose but sometimes life also needs to happen!

MrsKurz · 18/05/2026 13:59

I'm down to 79.6kg this morning, so officialls in a new bracket. Puts total weight loss to 2.3kg so far, in about 11 days, very happy and finding it easy to stay on track with good food choices. Overall I feel good, just finding appetite is a little bit reduced, and it's very easy for me to have will power to make good choices

@Lovemuesli how are you feeling now? I'm definitely nervous about moving up the doses and getting side effects, so far I've not had any negative effects. Did you feel any at .25 and .5?

CanMayHop · 18/05/2026 19:09

I’m due my second injection today, definitely seemed to be more hungry yesterday & today but have managed to stick to my calorie goals.
I didn’t have scales at home last week but have some now and have lost 3.8kg in 11 days. Monday will be my new official weighing day to try and give me a consistent view of what I’m loosing.

Are most people weighing weekly or do you weigh ever day?

@CanMayHop thats amazing well done! I do weigh every day just for my own info really, but I’m only “recording” it once a week on a Monday

MrsO2b · 18/05/2026 22:38

Sorry @CanMayHop , I didn't mean to post that on your post! X

aaahshoot · 19/05/2026 08:59

Day 14 and minimal impact on appetite but slightly easier to resist white carbs, which is the only change I’m making at this point. No real side effects any more. @Lovemueslimy starting and target weights are about the same as yours but you’re a few weeks ahead of me so keen to hear your progress. I’m so impatient to move up to the next dose(still on 0.25 for 2 more jabs)

MrsO2b · 19/05/2026 12:17

Second jab yesterday, first weigh-in this morning. 3.5lbs down. I know it's usual to lose more in the first week or 2 of a diet, then it slows down, but I'll take that!

Very minimal side-effects in week one. I was very cold and a bit headachy for the first couple of days, and a bit "bunged up" towards the end of last week, but nothing drastic and completely manageable. I didn't really notice suppression until about the 4th/5th day, but it's there now and I'm finding it fairly easy to resist junk, in fact I don't really fancy anything sweet, which is a miracle as sweet things are my downfall. It was my son's birthday on Saturday and I saved my piece of birthday cake for later because I didn't fancy it. I just threw it away this morning - I totally forgot it was there! What is this witchcraft?!
Excited to see what this week brings and wishing everyone lots of luck. Onwards and downwards 😁
I have a code for £40 off with bolt if anybody needs/wants it. Just PM me. X

I do my jab on a sat eve either in the arm or the thigh. I have never had it in the tummy as I have had a hernia op recently.
I've now lost 2 stone. I always feel sick 3 days after jab and usually have a banana with my cup of tea in the morning which helps a lot. Well done everyone.

MrsKurz · 20/05/2026 17:01

@Nos4r2 How long have you been on it?

I'm about to do my 3rd jab tomorrow. Definitely noticing the appetite surpression wear off towards the end of my week, although it's also still very subtle. I've got my next appointment with my dr a week tomorrow, which will be my 4th dose at .25 so we can discuss moving up I guess.

How's everyone going? So far I've lost a total of about 2.3kg (5lbs ish) in 2 weeks, I think that's pretty good! I'm definitely eating well, focussing on protein and avoiding sugary snacks, though I've had a couple. It's been relatively easy with the jab to help which I guess is the point. Not sure what to expect moving up the doses?

blubberball · 21/05/2026 06:25

I'm just starting week 2. Sorry for tmi, but this morning I'm in a situation where I can't trust a fart, and on and off the loo. Hopefully this symptom subsides 🙏

blubberball · 21/05/2026 14:57

My appetite seems to have come back this week as well. It must have been heartbreak rather than the injection last week

Learningdutch · 22/05/2026 07:40

Week 3, day 5. Minimal SE, minimal suppression. Don't seem have lost anything/much this week. Going on holiday on Tuesday so will jab on Monday then leave it till I get home, so will miss one week.

MrsKurz · 22/05/2026 16:12

I'm 1 day post jab 3 and think it's finally kicking in again. I had a tough thursday and this morning, with big hunger, but managed to keep food choices good. 1 more jab at 0.25 then hoping to move up to 0.5 and notice a bit more meaningful surpression. Thoug I have been able to make good food choices.

Next step for me is to get into a better gym routine and work out regularly to keep/build some muscle.

I haven't been able to weigh in a few days due to busy schedule, will try tomorrow.

Nos4r2 · 22/05/2026 16:41

Hey I've been on it 3 months.

Proteinpudding · 23/05/2026 08:43

Ah I hadn't seen a wegovy thread! I did my first jab a week ago. I have an 'off label' prescription, starting BMI 26, so not a lot to lose. I have been trying and failing to lose weight for the last few years; I have good gym/exercise habits and I try and eat well but I feel like my appetite has been out of control and my weight has been creeping up each year. Sweet foods and stress eating are my downfall.
It's early days but I'm definitely one of the lucky ones so far, no discernable side effects (sleep has been off this week but I can't say that's necessarily the jab) and I had appetite suppression straight away. It was subtle, but I found I'd plan my usual healthy meals, and for the first time ever I'd actually stick to them! I have felt content on smaller portions, and despite work stress I haven't felt the need for wine/chocolate.

I'm really hoping this will help me break some bad habits, and 'prove' to myself that my (petite, peri) body does only need a small amount of food now, and that I don't need to listen to 'listen to my body' when it's telling me I need to eat like a 25yr old male gym bro!

MrsKurz · 23/05/2026 11:06

@Proteinpudding welcome! I’m on week 3 just started, similar to you, no negative effects and subtle surpression that has just made it possible for me to stick to good choices. My BMI is around 28.5 now so also not tooooooons to lose but a bit more than you. Hoping for around 20kg

Proteinpudding · 23/05/2026 11:09

@MrsKurz thank you, it's encouraging to hear you're still feeling the same on week 3, I'm happy at the moment but aware it could be a honeymoon period!

MrsO2b · 23/05/2026 13:07

Nos4r2 · 22/05/2026 16:41

Hey I've been on it 3 months.

Hi! How have you done on it? I'm only on week 2 but ok so far

zobalina77 · 23/05/2026 19:29

Hi, I had my first injection on Tuesday. Feeling a little bit fuller if I eat too much, didn't have an off switch before, and trying to stay away from too many cards. I was on 15mg mounjaro up until August. When I was diagnosed with an autoimmune arthritis after I had a very severe flare. I couldn't walk for a few weeks and had 4 months off work, some without pay so couldn't afford the mounjaro. I was on steroids for 5 months and have gained 1.5 stone as they made me so hungry. I can't afford the increased mounjaro price so wegovy it it. Hoping it will help with the inflammation too (though clearly mounjaro didn't, my inflammatory markers in August were extremely high!)

BratPrince · 23/05/2026 19:52

Well week 3 and I've lost 8 pounds so far. Very pleased. After next weeks injection I'll be going up to .5mg so hopefully won't have too many side affects.

I'm with shemed and they keep trying to make me subscribe for 3 or 6 months but I'm not going to. I think I'll take it for the next couple of months and then stop.
