Have done it. Ordered my first 0.25 pen of Wegovy. Current weight 80.2kg and 165 com tall. Want to be more like 70kg. Thanks to whoever posted a 25% off code for Zava.

anyone else joining me as a May 2026 Wegovy start?

Well I did my first injection 5 days ago and I've lost 5 lbs 😲 although I think that must be mostly water.

I felt headachey and nauseous on days 2 and 3 and a bit more tired than usual. Definitely not as hungry though. I'm finding it easier not to graze whilst working from home. Hopefully it keeps working !

Izzydogmum · 10/05/2026 08:44

Morning all!
I have been lurking on here and wondering whether to comment or not. I decided best to get week 1 out the way then join in, hope you all don’t mind!
this is my second time on the jabs, first time got down 3st, stopped due to costs/changing jobs in Dec.
restarted last Sunday after putting on 10kg in 5 months, realised I couldn’t do it alone, so back on the jabs!
so new start! Joined the local pool/gym. Doing dog walks, and intermittent fasting.

starting weight 130.5kg
today weight 127.5kg
loss 3kg.
goal - who knows!

i know i need to intake more water, with the lack of hunger cues i am also missing drink cues? Anyone else?
hope you all are having a great weekend and here’s onwards and downwards to the next week!

Ibwah · 10/05/2026 09:28

@Izzydogmum hello! I am two jabs in and also a restarter after loosing two stoke on Mounjaro last year and putting another stone on. I cannot do it alone either. I also struggle with water-never thirsty. I have a busy job and have bought one of the 950ml guzzler bottles from SHO and if I fill
it at the beginning of the day I do
find I finish it. I then need to make an effort to drink at home.

TipsyLaird · 10/05/2026 10:16

So I weighed myself this morning and I’m down from 80.2 kg to 78.9 kg. Think this is more to do with conscious not eating snacks than the Wegovy at this stage.

Day 5 and haven’t managed to finish my breakfast (yoghurt, blueberries, granola). This is unheard of. Hoping it’s a sign of things to come and not just wishful thinking, but feeling genuinely full from a fair bit less than I would normally have.

Ecgx · 10/05/2026 13:58

So I feel like I must be unlucky because I did my i jab yesterday around 24 hours ago to the dot and I feel horrendous the worst migraine and nausea. I have barely eaten today because I feel so sick and if I have eaten it’s not been much or can’t finish.
whilst I know I will lose weight like this I really hope everyday will not be like this symptom wise or I couldn't cope! Im
hoping tomorrow is better as I am back in work too.

MrsKurz · 10/05/2026 14:11

day 3 for me and still not feeling any effect at all. I am consciously being good with my food choices but it’s definitely willpower and not Wegovy at this point… I’ve not been able to eat lunch yet today because I’m stuck with a napping baby and I’m starving lol

Did you have any appetite surpression days 1-4?

No - nothing at all

polkadotelephant · 10/05/2026 20:29

I’ve just ordered my first jabs from SheMed (thank you for pointing out the Blue Light discount).
Currently 160cm and 87kg. I’ve been heavier but my weight has gone up and down like a yo-yo my entire life. I have tried every diet on the bloody planet and go to the gym 3-4 times a week but the weight just keeps going on.
At the moment my self esteem is through the floor and need to get myself going after divorce. Sick of my life orientating around working full time and being a single parent to two (one disabled). I need to find me again.

polkadotelephant · 10/05/2026 20:32

How many calories are you meant to stick to alongside the injections?
Which apps did you find useful?

Ibwah · 10/05/2026 20:33

@polkadotelephant welcome. I didn’t know about the blue light discount. Will need to look into it. Good to start taking control!

MrsKurz · 11/05/2026 10:39

@polkadotelephant I've got a video call later today with a dietician with the clinic I'm doing it with, and we'll discuss calories/macro goals etc. I'll update after!

Day 4 for me, still no side effects or noticeable appetite surpression, but I'm finding cravings easier to ignore. Breakfast this morning was 200g natural yoghurt with frozen berries and 50g protein powder. So far I feel full and satisfied. Need to get on drinking some more water!

MrsKurz · 11/05/2026 19:02

Love that @JessicaMorgan ! I’m doing the same. I actually just had my first meeting with the dietician today and it was really good! He’s going to send me some follow up info and stuff and recommended I track my food just for a couple of weeks, to help re-centre my expectations, but then stop so it doesn’t become an obsession. Which I thought was a good idea.

as a side note, I actuallly think the medication is starting to work today, I’ve really not felt hungry or like I’m constantly waiting for a snack… and I’ve eaten lots of protein and salad and really feel ok. I’m still enjoying food, but today has been quieter… it’s nice… if it continues like this I’m starting to see why people say it’s life changing

MrsO2b · 12/05/2026 15:16

Can I join you all please? It's going to be so good to have all you lovelies for support on my journey. I took my first jab yesterday afternoon. I'm 5'5" and 175lbs. Hoping this will help me get some weight off before my wedding next year.

I tried MJ last year but the side-effects were awful for me, especially the really bad diarrhoea which kept me off work for a week. I only took MJ for 4 weeks - headache from day 1 that I couldn't get rid of, nausea, heartburn, stomach pain, and that "don't go away from the loo" diarrhoea. All that and I lost a grand total of 2lbs! I did better than that at slimming world! I'm really hoping W is a different story. So far I've only had a tiny bit of stomach pain in the night. But I'm freezing! Really cold. Not sure if it's the W or I'm coming down with something. Anybody else found this?

MrsKurz · 12/05/2026 18:37

@MrsO2b abaolutely! Im hoping our thread will pick up a bit as we get a bit further along. I’m on day 5 and the last 2 days I’ve definitely noticed a subtle effect of just not being as hungry and not thinking about food and snacks all the time… if it’s the beginning of what’s to come I’m excited. How are you getting on today?

TipsyLaird · 12/05/2026 19:46

I'll be a week tomorrow and feeling nothing. I am hoping I will start to notice effects as the weeks go on.

OP posts:
Ibwah · 12/05/2026 20:11

I have no idea what’s going on. My scales are jumping up and down (they’re old). I’ve bought some new. Im
also not feeling anything in terms of appetite change. Currently thinking about going to the kitchen and snacking!

Its been ok thanks. I don't really feel anything yet, apart from being cold. I've been more aware of what I've eaten today, but I'm sure that's just psychological. I hope I'll start to feel the effects after a few days. Have you weighed yourself yet? I'm going to try to only do it once a week before each jab, but it's going to be really hard not to!

Cloud1921 · 13/05/2026 09:01

I jabbed for the first time last night, I’ve battled my weight my whole life and realistically I have 100lbs to loose. I also have to fit into my wedding dress in a few months.
ive spent my whole life saying when I’m x old I will get my weight sorted. But nothing has ever worked long term, so desperate times call for desperate measures.
I have ADHD and struggle to sleep but I got the best nights sleep ever last night and my brain feels strangely quiet today. Has anyone else experienced that?

aaahshoot · 13/05/2026 10:25

Day 8 and just did my second jab. Think I’m beginning to feel some effects over the week as maybe getting fuller more quickly and finding foods slightly easier to resist? It’s weird. Also I have dodgy scales but they seem to say I have lost 2lb in the week. I also started taking collagen powder in the mornings and I don’t if it’s that that’s making me feel fuller?

CanMayHop · 13/05/2026 10:40

I took my first jab on Monday night, had an awful headache most of yesterday but seems to have mainly gone today. Im doing a vlc diet along with the injections (at least for the first 8-12 weeks) it’s probably the placebo effect but I’m definitely not as hungry, couldn’t finish dinner last night. Placebo or not I’m really hoping this is going to be the start of taking control of my weight and health and a lifestyle change.

MrsKurz · 13/05/2026 11:22

@aaahshoot my experience has been v similar so far. On about day 4 I definitely noticed things were "quieter" and I wasn't really hungry or thinking about a snack as much, but I'm still what I'd call "normal" hungry if that makes sense? I'm very happy with that for the first week. If that increases a bit as the dose goes up I'm extremely happy to just be able to eat a normal balanced/healthy amount while not constantly struggling to do that.

I started at 81.9kg, and this morning was 80.4kg (sorry I've lost the ability to do lbs after moving to Switzerland 12 years ago haha!) I'm planning to weigh in on Mondays to record it, and jab day is thursday for me

aaahshoot · 13/05/2026 13:09

@MrsKurzagree, it’s subtle but I really think it’s happening. Had a weird taste in my mouth after today’s jab. But generally just really excited!

blubberball · 13/05/2026 19:01

I'm picking up my medication tomorrow for the first time 🙏🤞
