Have done it. Ordered my first 0.25 pen of Wegovy. Current weight 80.2kg and 165 com tall. Want to be more like 70kg. Thanks to whoever posted a 25% off code for Zava.

So I took my second dose this morning. I had promised my youngest a trip to Nando's as an end of exam treat, went about 1pm and had a chicken breast burger and some roast potatoes. Would usually be hungry again about 6, tried to eat half an avocado and a slice of toast and just couldn't. Maybe it's working...

Have been taking Mounjaro and I lost 32kg
Its definitely not a race to the finish line, learn the good habits now so when you stop the injections it should all carry on as normal

2nd jab done! Feeling good still, definitely started to feel some effects on days 4/5 after first jab, so hoping that kicks in a bit quicker this week as it starts to build up. Week 1 results:

SW: 81.9kg
CW: 80.6kg
GW: 60kg

loss of 1.3kg for first week, not bad!

I weighed myself this morning at 78.8kg which is down 1.4kg from where I started a week ago. I have been more careful about what I am eating so whether this loss is down to the Wegovy or not it's too early to tell I'd say.

This week is going to be challenging as it is my birthday, the kids will want takeaway and cake and we're going out for dinner.

Good luck 😅 I started wegovy with a prescribing service not long ago after struggling to stay consistent with gym and food around work and kids. I liked having a few checks before starting, and the app’s been handy for simple recipes and little lifestyle tips. It’s just made everything feel a bit more manageable for me so far.

So I've lost 27lbs in 3 months. Im sticking to 0 5 jab as that seems to work. Always feel sick on the 3rd day. Just 1 more pound to reach 2 stone lost since March.
Im staying on 0.5 as I can keep to diet and the stronger dose will make me feel ill a lot longer, and want to feel normal if you know what I mean. I sometimes have the weekend off, just non diet stuff but not craming food in my mouth, but it has slowed down my loss. So after this Saturday, got family round for Eurovision night,( don't ask why) so will indulge, then be good for the rest of the time.

@Nos4r2 thats incredible- I’ve had three doses of the 0.25 and honestly not really felt any different. Fuller a bit longer I guess but definitely a lot of food noise! I have ordered the 0.5 and hoping this dose does the job! I am really trying to meal prep and take things into work

Well done everyone! My pen arrived yesterday and I plan to start tomorrow or Sunday. I have tried Wegovy a few years ago but it maybe me feel incredibly tired and nauseous. Hoping it’s different this time, despite my user name I have 8kg to lose 🤞

I just did my first injection yesterday. Not even sure if I did it right, but hopefully didn't just dribble away expensive medicine down my body. It's hard to say if it's working, as I was broken up with the other day and I lost my appetite with stress and broken heart any way. Just trying to take in nourishment in meal shake form for now. Lost like 7lbs in a few days, but most likely just water weight. Got a bit of a headache, but again, hard to say if it's the jab or just lack of sleep. Will be happy to shed some weight though

This gives me some positive hope thank you! Hopefully I will see some good losses too. I am trying to build the healthier habits as well so don’t get a complete gain

Oh Im sorry you are so sad. My first dose I did wrong and wasted it but im used to it now.

@blubberball being broken up with is awful - but when one door closes, many open in my experience . I remember in my early 20s I had two boyfriends who broke up with me and I was gutted but in retrospect, they were awful. One was horrible and controlling and one was really thick and we didn’t have much in common but fancied him. The second one sent me into a crisis and I applied for a crazy job in another city and I got the job and it was the best thing that ever happened to me- I also met my husband 2 months after this guy broke up with me. Things happen for a reason! Sending you a hug xx

Joining and have just done my first jab of Mounjaro. Current weight is 111kg so I have lots to lose and no idea how much will be realistic so no specific target.

Feeling apprehensive of side effects and whether it will actually work for me but keeping fingers crossed! 🤞

I am thrilled first check in for week 1 and I’ve lost 7lb so half a stone… granted I did get bad side effects at first lol! But I did second jab last night in thigh and I’ve felt mainly fine so fingers crossed that continues this time x

Day 12 not feeling any suppression and had to take a ducolax last night as constipated. It worked! Have lost 2lb since last Saturday.

Joining - first Wegovy pen arrived today. Going to start tomorrow. So excited at the thought of finally being able to lose the weight which has slowly but surely been piling on for the last 4 years since menopause!

I'm not sure if I have appetite suppression or not. I am still hungry and still thinking about food, but finding I feel fuller quicker.

Hello. My first pen arrives Tuesday or Wednesday so will start Thursday as I am away on business. Have about 3-4 stone to lose. Any tips to help with the symptoms?

Hi Can I join? I started last Friday at 12 stone 10 and have lost 3 pounds. Now 12st 7. I'd like to get to 10 stone.

I am trying to stick to 1400 calories a day.

I did the first time I did it in the stomach and my side effects were awful! In the thigh it’s been fine so far just a bit of nausea this time but nothing bad. X

Just had my first jab about an hour ago. Glad I found this thread as I was extremely nervous about the needle (and about the side effects). My heart was racing and it took about 20 minutes before I thought 'I need to get this over and done with!' It wasn't too bad, it stung a little bit afterwards. I'm hoping to sleep off any potential side effects tonight, I'll see how I feel tomorrow morning

I’m on day 10 I think? I’m definitely feeling a light level of surpression now, had a bit less on day 8 which was jab day before it kicked in again. Weight loss is “slow” but going in the right direction so hoping it might speed up a bit as I go up a dose. Would love to see the 70s this week, was 80.3 this morning

Just did my first dose. Tiny needle and didn’t hurt but now a bit sore. I am hungover to the eyeballs and feeling quite nauseous anyway so not sure if it will make a difference if I do get immediate symptoms!
