@Fatmumslim01 , there's ways ....😂not advocating,or saying to anyone else do what I do ,at all ,but it's been such a complicated ride for me, I'll do what I have to do.
I'm doing ok today after taking a small dose, my head is calm,my joints are maybe catching up though, very swollen and painful today. I could manage the weight no problem really off mj and indeed I'd probably get back to a normal BMI and be ok,and I was doing ok,but then bam, the head noise was back and my joints were on fire, I think it's when mj has completely left the building so to speak.
It was never the plan for me to stay on it, as I struggle to afford it comfortably,if it was more affordable I wouldn't give it a second thought.
Good luck with the latter part of your journey, take care.
Oh and for the first time ever I've had sulphur burps bizarre, and predictably I have no appetite whatsoever although I'm eating small meals.

WobblyBowels · 09/06/2026 09:49

Can I join in? I'm a long, long observer/reader. Started Wegovy in March 2025. Lost 13kg very slowly. Stalled. Changed to MJ. Sat on 5mg for months (and my weight stayed the same). Now, at last, I've seen my GP and she's put a rocket up my arse, and I've moved up to 7.5. She suggests moving up to 10 immediately.

I've already lost 2 kg moving my dose up. I'm working on measuring my food for a week to check my calories in - I'm hitting a calorie deficit. In the last 3 months I've started moving my body - walking every day, a bit of cycling and swimming. Have also started yoga, and the big one - reformer pilates - last week.

So:
SW 105kg
CW 90kg
GW - I don't know....80kg, 75kg.

My goal is to feel and look healthy and be able to move my body as I head towards 60 (this December).

Questions: what have people found to be the best way to 'tone up' their body. I realise I'm fighting Father Time, and 25 years of being heavy. I'm gradually introducing exercise, and am getting started with a home strengthening program using weights plus all that is mentioned above.

Afternoon all

I was at a wedding this weekend and had a fab time dancing, partying and feeling incredibly happy with how I look, present myself and most importantly I have started to love the new me! It has taken me a while for my brain to catch up with my body and be used to what it sees.

I have been maintaining and off MJ for a while and I am starting to get back to old habits which is disappointing. I have tried to go back to providers but they won’t prescribe me any MJ which is a pain in the bum. I really do not want to go back to where I was the health benefits, no head noise was truly life changing for me.

Update,my head is calm and my joints are no longer are on fire, I have lost a pound overall though so 😔 but I am so much calmer on it. I dropped about 4 lb one day and the inflammation and joint pain just went away. Gotta keep taking it, even though I'm so small. Tiny doses I think is the way forward

Fairfaxandflavor · 11/06/2026 22:38

@TheSpoonyNavyReader well you look absolutely fabulous for a start, I take it off label as you all know, it's not for everyone but I'm in a good place now , it's about my head being calm and joint pain, I can't stop it because the head noise comes back along with the joint pain.

What do you mean by off label?

What do you mean by off label?

@Puddingpiper exactly that,off label

Puddingpiper · 11/06/2026 22:45

Sorry for being dim do you mean using it for reasons other than weightloss or buying in the vials that you mix up yourself

Fairfaxandflavor · 11/06/2026 22:51

@Puddingpiper I don't really know why you want to get into this, but it's always been a good place here, I'm not going to get into what I do it's not relevant, I am ok at the moment that's all that's relevant regarding my past posts and thanks again to you all that helped last week ,much love

Puddingpiper · 11/06/2026 22:52

Sorry I was genuinely interested it wasn’t criticism at all. I’ve been looking at both options. Apologies if my message read wrongly

Fairfaxandflavor · 11/06/2026 22:59

@Puddingpiper sorry, I was aggressive sounding, yes I take peptides, have done for actually longer than I took the legit stuff, always been ok and now realising it Will be long term

Puddingpiper · 11/06/2026 23:01

that’s interesting I’ve seen them and contemplating trying as I cannot get a normal prescription now (private) as I stupidly left it too long. However I feel much healthier on a dose of 3.75 every 10 days, my joints feel happier, blood sugar is stable, generally better

Fairfaxandflavor · 11/06/2026 23:06

@Puddingpiper I'm laying myself open now, I suppose, but I buy a 60mg tirzepatide and lasts ages ,you all have to be careful and I have been buying off my supplier for a long time, and I trust them, but I suppose it's a shark's cage.

Puddingpiper · 11/06/2026 23:07

Thank you would you mind sending me your suppliers name? I’d rather buy off somewhere that is known than a Facebook ad

@Fairfaxandflavorthank you yes I will save them as a supplier. I have been researching it today and found a couple of good calculators

Fairfaxandflavor · 12/06/2026 20:26

Judging by the influx of DM s there's way more of you wanting to know my set up than report me 😂 to mods, anyways I am doing absolutely fine, no joint pain, calm head , I'm going to inject again tomorrow, hopefully keep things calm and ticking over, incidentally my weight is about the same 😂,now the inflammation has gone.

Hi I am interested in what you are taking if it is cheaper etc than buying the pen and it's the same stuff? I have lost just over 4 stone and getting into maintenance now but am never planning on stopping using as it is amazing as you say for lots of things eg no hot flushes ha ha as always freezing! I am deffo a lifer and any savings would be amazing x

Buscake · 13/06/2026 12:21

Still maintaining here, 3 months off! Body composition is changing lots and so people keep remarking that I’ve lost weight. I actually haven’t! I’ve been this weight since Oct 2025 now. But I’ve lost fat and gained muscle: body fat is now 13.5% so I appreciate I look very different to how I did. Fitness routine is going great and I’m onto assisted pull-ups and will try unassisted next week 💪 Words I never thought I would say! Focusing on protein, so eating loads of eggs, egg whites, chicken, yoghurt and don’t feel deprived. I am repeating meals most days and feel so great to have found a system that works for me right now.

JabbaJibba · 13/06/2026 16:16

NSV (twice in 2 days) people who I haven't seen for about 6 months both saying they didn't recognise me straight away. Complete madness, I still think I look the same! Now being asked when I'm stopping. Still got 2 stone to go and May and up to now has been a complete write off, so need to sort my menu choices out and focus. Looking a booking a trip away in 6 weeks, so hopefully that focuses the mind!

TheBossOfMe · 21/06/2026 09:39

Hello all. For the first time since starting this journey, I’ve taken my eye off the ball when it comes to eating properly. Too many work events, travel, birthdays, feeding up teenagers doing a levels has meant a lack of time and headspace for mindful diet and exercise. Which means I’ve started to gain a bit - not a lot, 4lb over goal but that’s beyond the 2lb buffer I agreed I’d tolerate and it’s all on my stomach. Not going to increase from micro dosing because I don’t need the suppression. I just need to me mindful about what I’m putting in my mouth and not treat myself as a human food trash can. It should only take me a couple of weeks to get back to goal but it’s not going to happen by magic. My mind needs to be engaged.

AddictedtoCrunchies · 22/06/2026 22:17

I can really relate to the 'human trash can' analogy as that's me. I havent jabbed for a month but the scales are steadily creeping up. Ive gained 10lbs since the beginning of December and, apart from a slightly increased paunch I don't really look any different.

I'm still running three times a week.and in the gym three times too. Am marathon training as well which I think allows me to eat.more. I've stopped tracking as am totally fed up with it although still eating the same meals.

However I've just jabbed 2.5mg. I just cant quite let go. Not really sure of the point of my post.

Bipaloss · 23/06/2026 10:05

Feeling deflated , 12.5 is doing nothing at all , done 3 jabs and it’s been like injecting water , the food noise and hunger testing my patience and strength. I’m maintaining but just deflated when it’s so pricey hoping 15mg will work at least a bit other wise I will have to look at split dosing 10/5 let’s see

I must be shrinking inches though as had so many comments last couple of weeks of how slim I am (BMI 28)
