Still here and hit 50kg loss this week. I've only got 6lb to go until my target (although BMI will still be just over 26.5) but it feels like it's taking forever, still on 5mg. I have a surplus of pens in my fridge of various doses as was chasing the golden dose pens, but lucked out on my 10 order! It might be January before I need to order again (I still have a pen from last August!) so will need to work out who will let me order come Christmas

Well done to those that have been maintaining, especially @GameOfJones , no jab for a year 👏 I'll definitely be jabbing for forever I think

TheBossOfMe · 05/09/2026 11:43

Morning all - still holding steady on weight, still splitting 2.5mg into 2 jabs a week of 1.25mg each which is keeping the snoring at bay 😂

You would think the hot summer meant eating light but actually it’s been the opposite for me - not wanting to cook has meant too much grazing food or chuck it in the oven food, so I’m not heading into autumn with any wiggle room in the bank. Given how easy I found it to get to goal, I’m surprised at how hard I’m finding it to shave a few pounds off - I feel like my body is fighting me to hold at this weight. Which is fine if it stays at this weight, I just don’t want to gain and I know it’s going to be really busy with work dinners and trips over the next few months. So I’ll need to be careful. DD is heading to Uni at the end of next week so at least I won’t be catering for her for a bit - her diet is super carb heavy because she does so much exercise. Plus she’s a teenager!

@GameOfJones- a year jab free and holding steady is amazing. Well done.

You doing amazing ! You stayed off and then came back on a very low dose so if keep at target (with a buffer) for so long that’s amazing

good luck with Uni my eldest (got two DS) went of to year 7 this week and what a transition . A shock to his system and a shock to mine so can relate with 6th form and deffo Uni (especially if they are relocating!)

im now on 7.5 BMI 27 . And decided that 27-28 is my place to be . Although my tummy remains rest of body is super slim and feel this where I want to be , its ok I feel

maintained (+- 2lb, I’m actually -1lb today) since stopping 15mg 3 weeks ago . Doing another 7.5 next week and then onto 5 mg for 5-9 weeks .

what feels great is that I’m eating “properly” again” I mean like normal meals , no snacking and maintaining , exactly how I want it !

snoring , I was snoring at 15mg , and when I dropped It stopped again so odd (other time I snored was when I first stopped MJ) , very very odd . Great to be sleeping well again

DH is still not home, hoping In a week or two . Unfortunately he needed a second surgery and subsequently got hospitalised for hypo (low blood sugar) , which is so hard it’s been almost 2 months now but nearing the end of it. And I do hope it’s the last time we as a family are apart, as being a sole parent and being away from DH when he is having medical issues is one of the hardest times of my life

GiveMeWordGames · 06/09/2026 08:00

That's brilliant, @GameOfJones . And glad to hear things are still ticking along @TheBossOfMe

Sorry about your DH @Bipaloss . That's really really hard. I'm glad you're where you want to be weight wise though.

I'm still hovering around 10st 10- 10st11. Dropped briefly to 10st 9 but I think that was a scales blip because I've not seen it since. 😅 I'm planning to move down to 2.5 on Monday and see how that goes.

So glad the weather has normalised!

Yellowsubmarine55 · 11/09/2026 17:39

Just checking in now schools have gone back and normal routine has been restored.

I'm very close to just giving up on the 'weightloss' part of this and just starting maintenance - I have 2lbs to go to my goal that I plucked out of the air as I wanted a BMI of 23. No reasons for this figure, just a round number 😁

But realistically all I'm doing is bobbing up and down with these 2lb and not staying at the lower amount for more than a day and what's 2lb going to do?

Not a lot really although it'll give me more of a buffer when I eventually come off. But I'm happy where I am and feel fantastic so if I don't change any more, I'll be happy.

Has anyone else been in this situation when you just have to say no more?

I'm short so my cutting calories are far lower than I really should be having as I'm active now so whilst it gives me a bit extra, I still don't see it on the scale.

Hope everyone is good ♥️

GiveMeWordGames · 11/09/2026 18:02

Well done @Yellowsubmarine55! Have you started titrating down? I did that even when I had a few more lbs I wanted to lose, and still lost about 7lb on my way down. I'm now on my first week of 2.5 which, as it is on the way up, the biggest difference as it's halving the dose. I'm definitely feeling the hunger a bit more but I'm learning to sit with it and the good habits are holding.

I'm still hovering around 10st 10 which I like as it's a nice round 150lbs and 22-23 BMI which I'm happy with.

Ingangoolie · 14/09/2026 20:29

@Yellowsubmarine55 @GiveMeWordGames doing well, good to hear about slow titration, am similar with BMI and goal and back to 2.5mg per week from every 5 days, noticing a bit of a change in appetite, I’ll be very slowly tweaking down, pausing, and take plenty of time.

Spondoolie · 20/09/2026 13:51

Bit of a sad tale for me in that a sudden relationship breakdown meant i lost my appetite for the first time in my life. Anyway, six weeks later I have hit 9’0 so made a 5 stone loss. Wow. Thank god i feel and look so much better. It really has helped me cope. Still aiming for 8’5 which will be 23 bmi for me and appetite has come back. Still on 10mg.

TheBossOfMe · 20/09/2026 14:23

I’m sorry to hear that, @Spondoolie - but congratulations on a 5 stone loss, that’s truly inspiring. Such an achievement, I hope it’s making you feel good about yourself.

I’ve resigned myself to not being able to shift the couple of pounds I wanted in the bank going into autumn. I’m still within my 2lb of goal buffer - I think now DD has gone to Uni I’ll get back to less carby dinners and it might shift but if it doesn’t it doesn’t. I look and feel like a different person to when I started this journey and it’s making my happy so I’m not going to let 2lb make me unhappy!

northernlight20 · 20/09/2026 16:18

sorry to hear that @Spondoolie, and congrats on the weightloss. @TheBossOfMe, it will come off eventually, keep going. i had been 54kg all of july and august, which i was happy to maintain at. and suddenly in the last 2 days, my weight has dropped to 52.8kg, without doing absolutely anything different, taking my total loss to 61.5kg. i look so different, people walk past me in the street. its absolutely unbelieveable.

Wow! That is phenomenal. Well done. I do wish this had been an option when we were younger. Our whole lives would have been different
