Hey lovely ladies

Let’s carry on supporting each other.

I do pretty much the same as @Fairfaxandflavor apart from the timings - the scales go up a pound or two midweek because that’s when I’m out with work a lot and have less time to exercise. And then I do more exercise and eat my normal low carb IF diet over the weekend and early week. I’m definitely more hungry than I used to be and am having to use a lot more willpower to not stuff my face, especially when eating out (am still doing the trick of looking at the menu online before I go and working out what to order in advance but the reality is that restaurant food is just very calorific because that’s how pro chefs cook).

seasidehunter · 14/05/2026 16:51

Its been a while since I've posted. I got down to a weight I was happy with (10st1lb - 10st4lb depending on the day, although did dip briefly under 10 and have sometimes hit 10st5). Everything going great, titrated down (although was only ever on 5mg anyway) and was taking 1.25mg every 2 weeks by the time I stopped in February. Weight hasn't been the issue at all - I seemed to be able to eat what I want (within reason of course) because I do a lot of exercise and on rest days I'd just be a bit more conscious and moderate my intake. Exercise was going great - performing better than I had in a long time too!

But late March I had a flare up of some old injuries. It started with a sore back, then sciatica and now I've got something weird going on in my hip (likely torn muscle). Maybe it was related to stopping MJ or maybe not - I just don't know. So... I bit the bullet and ordered some more MJ - arriving tomorrow! I'm not interested in losing any more weight, although it might help a bit whilst I'm immobilised. But its more that I want to test whether any of these issues seem to be inflammation-based. I really didn't want to take MJ long term but I'd be willing to consider it if everything just stops hurting!

Can I join!!! And get tips from all u doing fab in maintenance !

im currently 9 st 6 and bmi 21.3. I lost all my weight very slowly on 10mg and now have dropped to 5mg which I aim
to do a 6 weeks stint and then I’ll do 2.5 for 5 weeks. Then stop.

I’ve made positive changes during this time which are now habits

  • I work out 3/4 times a week. Mix of weights and Pilates
  • I count every calorie on nutra check except for weekends where I do is a bit more loosely

im finding 5mg I’m maintaining still but I’m so hungry!!!! Drinking lots of water eating over 100g protein . Lots of fruit loads of veg. Still starving!!! Just trying to ignore it as no way I’m getting big again.

my long term plan is to relax at weekends (but not go mad but maybe a meal out / a few drinks / a slice of cake ) . Then eat maintenance cals at weekend worked out as sedentary which is about 1550 for me. My zone is 10.6-10.8 I find I go over this on a Monday but by Friday im back there again.

Hoping u guys can help me with any tips!

Good morning all

I have been on Maintenance for a while now and bobbing around 8st 7lbs but old eating habits are starting to creep back, eating because I am bored so will have to be mindful of that.

In other news I have had my new implants and lift done and wow what a change it has made, the stubborn fat under my armpits was not stubborn fat but it was breast tissue that had fallen as where I had lost weight fell into that pocket.

I also had some lipo for the stubborn fat around my back the surgeon only removed 2 litres of fat in about 3 places but a week on I can see the difference already although I have swollen up like a balloon!

I will post photos when I have healed but if any of you are thinking of doing it then go for it.

thanks for this as I will be having a lift and implants in a few months time. My boobs are completely non existent and it’s really affecting my self esteem and how feminine I feel. Hope you continue to heal well.

Mantha78 · 23/05/2026 16:00

That’s fantastic
I am needing to get my implants changed after losing 5 1/2 stone since March.
I have been maintaining since Feb, hovering around 8st 6 which seems an ideal weight for me.

I am so worried that I will be told I have to stop jabbing for awhile before the surgery and put on weight. Did you have to stop and if so how did it go/feel?

Bipaloss · 23/05/2026 19:30

Congrats OP , wish you a speedy recovery

I’m on my third week on 10mg and finally loosing again around 1-1.5 lb a week , I’m now 1lb below where I last stopped

still got 1.5-2 st to goal but hoping to be another st down by August , will be hard as I lost only just over a st since Feb but will try my best (seing relatives again for first time since starting MJ in August)

unlike first round I’m fed up of MJ , do have SE for 3days after now plus a bit fed up of not being able to eat proper meals etc, wanting foods etc so hoping I get to goal by October the latest so I can start tiltering down and start maintenance

4.1 st loss on MJ (March 25)/ 5.1 st in total (oct 24)

Bipaloss · 27/05/2026 23:36

where is everyone LOL

after a successful 5lb loss on 5 weeks on 10mg , took my 5th shot and almost like it’s a reverse I’m been binging carbs like there is no tomorrow the last 48hours pasta , sushi etc you name can’t stop eating carbs LOL (this too despite the heatwave and hayfever which normally suppresses my appetite !!!)

12 more days of 10 mg before going up to my last high dose of 12.5 mg (my second biggest loss dose after 2.5 first round) . Really starting to feel the money spent the second round is a waiste as I have only lost what I had gained spending roughly 1000£ 😩

I want to give up, maintain etc but with a BMI 28 I want to just continue . So fed up but have to keep going 😩😩😩😭

I know don’t rely on it etc but MJ really dows mind games !

still here and maintaining at 55.6kg. and down to the 5mg dose. i count calories using nutracheck and my maintenance calories are just under 1600, but if i eat more than 1500, i gain because im only 5ft 2. its been trial and error finding the right calorie to maintain.

do you count your calories? it would be useful to maybe count for a week to see where you're at. Ive never really had the high suppression people talk about, i just feel fuller for longer, so ive had to really count the calories in every meal, which was very tedious at first but its just become a part of me now.

Yellowsubmarine55 · 28/05/2026 11:41

Still here too, just fed up with the slowness of it all as I'm heading towards goal. My first goal is 6 stone and I'm 0.6lb from this. BMI is 23.8. On 3.5mg ish

Realistically I'm coming off this as soon as I can and I'm adamant I'm not going to be a lifetime user. So I'm worried about regain so I would love to get a few more lb off, down to a 23 BMI but whether I can get there before the end of time is another matter 😁

I'm only 5'2 so living on very few calories so I've upped exercise massively and have to eat some of those to get above 1200. I'm bored of this now, but loving wearing a size 12 🤩

TheBossOfMe · 28/05/2026 12:53

Also still here and still maintaining although on a low dose so having to rely a LOT on willpower and keeping portion sizes sensible and maxing protein and fibre intake out. It’s going to be a lifelong “watch what you eat” for me - very easy to slip back into bigger portions and not do enough exercise.

Fairfaxandflavor · 28/05/2026 16:47

Still here @Bipaloss , keep going! I use nutracheck and find it really useful,it puts it there in black and white what you've eaten, I have variously gone from saying I'll come off,but then used it again, for about 8 months, I think I can manage without now although it's harder without the mj,
I eat 16/8 use MCT oil during the week,it seems to keep everything stable. I am looser about things at the weekend ,but not much ,so I bounce up and down 2 or 3 pounds,if I needed to keep losing id just keep strict with the 16/8 and count every single calorie.
I don't exercise much as I hate it, I dog walk, but that's it apart from a bit of resistance.
@Yellowsubmarine55 I'm soooo bored too,but I love my new clothes too much as well.
Think I've just got used to having meals without carbs now as if I did it would open the floodgates,so I purposely avoid them.

Fatmumslim01 · 28/05/2026 16:54

@Bipaloss waves! I'm still here 💪

I upped to 15mg about a month ago after my weight loss really slowed down so much that I was basically maintaining on 12.5 but 15 has refreshed me and I'm consistently losing a pound a week now.

Current weight is 9 stone 10, goal is 8-10 and my starting weight was 14-7.

Feeling absolutely fabulous! Like @Yellowsubmarine55 I'm loving picking up size 12 in shops and they consistently fit! I'm only 5 foot aswell. Considering I was a 20 pre MJ it still blows my mind.

Other NSVs are coming thick and fast now, feel like I've been given a second chance at life now, I notice it most with my kids like on days out pre MJ I would spend alot of time sitting on benches watching DH run round with them as frankly I was too fat but now I'm running after them too. We went to a museum the other day that is over 4 floors and normally I'd spend half the day waiting for the lift well not now I'm up and down the stairs no problem. Absolute freedom!

Bipaloss · 29/05/2026 08:11

Ahhh Great to see there are some still here 😃

I do believe in the theory that you get immune on doses after all weight loss is actually a side effect. @Fatmumslim01 i think it will for me as well as my last high dose was 12.5 and I have lost most on 10mg this round and had second highest loss on first round on 12.5 so hoping 12.5 and 15mg works better and that I can shift the weight a bit faster

@Yellowsubmarine55 @northernlight20 thank you may be I should download nutracheck and start being more careful with kcalories (when jab works i have my main meal during daytime but when it’s less powerful evening eating habits creeps back and kcalorie counting may help restricting over eating kcalories)

@TheBossOfMe you doing brilliant on Maintainance , do you see yourself coming back off again?

TheBossOfMe · 29/05/2026 08:29

@BipalossI think I’ll be a lifetime user but that’s more because of the unintended side effects. I’m on a super low dose (micro dosing 1.25mg twice a week) so not really getting any appetite suppression. But I don’t snore when I’m on it and sleep so much better as a result - when I stopped for a while the snoring and disturbed sleep came back even though I’d lost weight. So it’s about the anti inflammatory effect now for me. And I know that’s not what it’s supposed to be used for but I feel so much better for having better quality of sleep that I don’t really care!

Puddingpiper · 29/05/2026 08:30

@TheBossOfMeare you having any issues getting pens assuming your 2.5mg pen is lasting 8-10 weeks?

GiveMeWordGames · 29/05/2026 08:52

I'm still here, finding my way around maintenance and down to 5mg now. Good to read everyone's news. Sorry it's slower this time around @Bipaloss. Hang in there! It'll happen...

I'm now bobbling around between 10st 11.5 and 10st 12.75. My BMI is 23. Total loss (to the lowest weight) has been 6st 6.5lbs. Very happy, and in no hurry to come off.

I'm going on holiday next week for 11 nights and I haven't decided if I'll have a larger gap or take a pen with me. I've bought a cool pack for the travel in case (we're in a villa so will have a fridge).

@Puddingpiper if @TheBossOfMe is microdosing that much twice a week, I think the pen would last a normal time wouldn't it? I'm actually currently using a 7.5 pen and counting clicks to 5. My provider (local pharmacy) is fine with that.

TheBossOfMe · 29/05/2026 15:12

@GiveMeWordGames@PuddingpiperGiveMeWordGames is right, I’m just splitting the 2.5mg into two doses per week so it’s still 2.5mg a week. Splitting it means I stop snoring but don’t have any real suppression, if I take the whole 2.5mg in one go I have a couple of days where I don’t want to eat very much and have to force myself, which isn’t a nice feeling.

JabbaJibba · 31/05/2026 08:47

Still here too. I reached a 100lb loss at beginning of May 🙌 and then went away with the girls for 4 nights and managed to put on 10lb 🤦‍♀️ . Got myself back to a 98lb loss then went on a cruise last week and have put on 5lb, but have come back with gastro issues, so won't inject this week. Need to go food shopping and get back on it, also using Nutracheck to track calories. (but not when away) Still 2 stone to lose. Still on 5mg

Aboutmeabouttime · 31/05/2026 12:42

Giving everyone a wave!
I stopped MJ end of Jan and am 6lbs up on where I would like to be 😬 bad habits crept back in then Easter, then been away this May half term. Am going to start calorie counting again for a bit… and stop pretending I can eat like everyone else in the family! If that fails I would go back at 2.5mg but what I notice off it is that my mood is better…

Sending good vibes to everyone still going… the total losses are fabulous! We can find a way!

AgnethaF · 01/06/2026 16:32

Still here 👋

I had a holiday of a lifetime organised for march, so always knew I would have a break then. Did not want to feel queasy while away, and wanted to enjoy all the different food etc whilst away. All good, only put on 6lbs in four weeks.

Dithered about starting again, and changed onto a ravenous animal pigging out on crisps and chocolate. put on another 8lbs!

as it had been approx 8 weeks off MJ, didn’t want to restart on 10mg again, so went back to the start at 2.5mg. It has had zero effect, so increasing to 5mg as soon as I’ve used up this pen.

My portion control is out of control! Looking forward to some suppression starting up again.

This all makes me think I’m gonna be a lifer.

SW 14.11
CW 12.2, but got down to 11.2
TW 10.7

🐷🐽🐷🐽🐷🐽🐷🐽🐷

Buscake · 01/06/2026 17:45

I’m still here too! Three months off MJ now, and managing to maintain while doing an absolute shit ton of exercise. People are still saying to me you’re really thin you’re even thinner, but the truth is I’ve maintained this weight now for over six months. I think my body looks different because of all the exercise. My face and jaw is a lot leaner I hold myself differently I also have put on some muscle as well, so maybe there’s a small fat loss? But it would be negligible.

It’s frustrating that it’s going to take so much dedication in terms of watching what I eat, and being mindful of my activity levels to maintain this weight forever. But I absolutely have a new lifestyle now, and I’ve invested so much time energy and money into it that I wouldn’t want to let it drift back to where it used to be.

lilymty · Yesterday 14:01

Im currently 135lbs down with 15 left to go which will just get me into the overweight bmi. Im struggling though, im sticking to things but the weight just isnt moving. This week im adding into my routine a kettlebell workout.
