@VashtaNerada sorry to hear that you're still having side effects. I do too and I've tried microdosing but now just decided to take 1mg twice a week and take plenty of imodium. I can now predict when I'll get diarrhoea (exactly 24 hrs after jab) which makes preventing diarrhoea easier.

On micro doses I still felt hungry all the time, (and didn't lose anything) whereas 1mg gives me a bit of help.

Well done for sticking with it!

Also, how come a size 12 is for someone who is just under the obese category??? What size am i going to be when i’ll reach a normal bmi? A size 6?? I am pretty sure that when i was 20 and about 55 kg i was a size 10-12. This is vanity sizing gone wild!

I’ve continued to lose steadily and so far I’m 32 lbs down; I am looking better but I’ve only gone from a size 20 to and 18.
I have a 7.5mg pen but I’ve stayed on 5mg a week. After seeing a YouTube video saying the half life is 5 days, I’m injecting 3.75mg every 5th day and it seems to give less highs and lows.
I’m 5’7” and 13st 2lbs - I’d like to be 11st so I’m halfway there now.
I am much happier being lighter and going to focus on fitness for this next few months.

Morning all! Looking for easy veggie protein ideas. I do all the cooking but my husband is a veggie (yes, i should get him to cook but...) I do jacket potatoes with beans, cheese, cottage cheese etc

I do a lentil slice quite often but I struggle to get enough protein when eating veggie. He also doesn't like fake meat (eg quorn). I've been relying on processed meat but don't really want to.

I look after my dad 3 days a week and we eat meat then which is easy. I've realised that I find controlling myself around food much easier when I'm totes protes 😁

Any veggies have tips? Or do I need to LTB? 😬

@HKG definitely do 6.25mg. I stayed the same weight for 6 weeks and only had 5mg pens because of the panic buying. In desperation I did my 5mg jab then thought sod it, I’m taking some more and injected another 1.25. I lost 4lbs last week, I didn’t have any worse SEs and have now lost 3 stone exactly and have a healthy BMI. Sometimes I think our bodies just need a kickstart to get things moving again, good luck 🤞

My DC is veggie. We eat lots of beans & cheese. Bean chilli is easy and you can freeze leftovers. Lentil Bolognese or cottage pie? Mediterranean roast veg with halloumi? Shakshuka?
I spend a lot of time on BBC good food. @Gingercar probably has lots of ideas.

Ooh those recipes look good.
I do veggie 3 bean + lentil chilli. I add curry powder and chick peas to ratatouille to make a curry. I use the ratatouille as pasta sauce and add cheese. Frittatas, omelettes. I’m adding seeds or pine nuts to lots of things. I do tend to eat similar meals at the moment. I probably need to expand my repertoire!

I try to do at least a couple of vegetarian meals each week, and as I’m also battling raised cholesterol, and avoid UPF where I can, these tend to be bean and pulse based. Mexican is my speedy go to mid week; a tin each of black beans, mixed beans & tomatoes + flavouring and whatever veg are available, can be turned into fajitas, quesadillas etc. If you have more time, black beans and Mediterranean vegetables or soffrito from the freezer can become ragu or cottage pie.

If not avoiding cheese, I would look at adding soya beans to a carbonara, made with eggs, cheese & pasta water, make a frittata or whizz up some cottage cheese for a pasta sauce with toasted walnuts.

Veggie here too - when im stuck in a rut, i refresh my mind with a little goigle search about the best sources of vegetarina proteins and then it gives me a few ideas.
besides pulses, tofu, nuts and dairy/eggs, what about quinoa, spinach, water ress, mushrooms, peanuts and peanut butter, brown rice, buckwheat noodles and even oats.
also i do supplement my diet with a protein shake after i workout - i love optimum nutrition whey vanilla ice cream protein powder. I also put a teaspoon of collagen in my latte in the morning or in my overnight oats (collagne is protein)

Ive just ordered a new pen as i am worried about leaving to long a gap between orders + i want to have a couple of pens extra for maintenance just in case). I went for a 7.5mg pen so i can have some flexibility, increase the dose or make it last longer. I paid £193!!!! Bloody expensive though!
once thing i’ll be glad when all this is over is not having to take pictures this way, that way, with the date, with the order number blablabla…. 😫 Often i have to take more pics because its not the right angle, my clothes are not fitting enough and so on…

Am now in size 16 jeans! About blinkin' time. Today I'm wearing dark blue bootcut jeans and a raspberry shirt with navy blue embroidery on it from Boden, tucked in at the front. I have a waist! So nice to like clothes again.
Tried to add a non plus size belt but it was a squeeze, I could fasten it though so that's a win.

Quinoa patties, Dahl, zucchini fritters (with egg white and a bit of feta) Chia pudding for breakfast or dessert?

Even my completely carnivorous dd eats zucchini fritters!! Hers are nicer than mine though as she can take the calories of about 12 black olives and a huge chunk of Gruyère mixed in…. Mine are more abstemious and rely on tarragon! Dahl is great because I make up a big saucepan and at this time of year can just leave it on the hob with lid on for a couple of days.
