Hit the goal, unfortunately I managed to draw up. 4 of my golden dose instead of. 3, so I've had more than the 5 mg I was on and felt 🤢, so I'll be losing a bit more this week. I will post the before and after pic tomorrow. So maintenance it is now after this week

@soupforbrains nah, boobs are gone, but I’ve got a spare one under my armpit lol (a weird souvenir from my breastfeeding days - that one did NOT shrink) 💀😂 in any sort of sports bra, my ribs are out more than my chest. It’s a very dramatic situation, thanks for asking

soupforbrains · 28/09/2025 21:20

@Fairfaxandflavorcongrats! CANT wait to see your before and afters.

@LilyLondonmy brain is doing all kinds of mental gymnastics trying to picture your ‘spare boob’!

SharpOpalNewt · 29/09/2025 03:21

Well done @TheSpoonyNavyReader, you look fantastic!

I'm 2lbs off goal, but will try and lose another half a stone to have more wriggle room if I can.

SW: 13st 4lbs
CW: 11st 2lbs
GW: 11st

Boob reduction is one of the things I most welcome about weight loss. I've gone from 36E to 34D so far. So much more comfortable.

MisfitMagpie · 29/09/2025 09:13

Start Weight: 23st 6.4lbs
Initial Goal Weight: 12st 5lbs (24.9 BMI)
Current Weight: 18st 11.4lbs
Loss: 4st 9lb (65 lbs)

Have now reached a 65 lb loss, so I've lost over the equivalent of an elephants penis 😂 (60 lbs) which was the target I was working towards. Next target 100lbs - a 2 month old horse.

I am still wearing the same size clothes but there is certainly more room in them, plus can fit in brand new ones of that size rather than jeans which had stretched. I also have a pair that I've only worn a few times but they are now feeling large in the waist, this is a whole new experience!

LilyLondon · 29/09/2025 09:33

@MisfitMagpie with goals defined like that, you’re already winning 😆

Hi all

looking for some advise from those who split their doses

I’m on my 5th week of 12.5 mg , SE is getting worse every week with flue like symptoms day after jab, and now stomach aches (especially if I eat) as well as increasing anxiety , I’m having nightmares and frequently waking up at night , random anxiety spurts during the day . I don’t feel comfortable anymore but still got 2st to loose

I was wondering those who split their doses to reduce SE how do you do it, I’m thinking to reduce to 10+2.5 or 7.5+5 , or going going to 10mg again . I’m not sure so any help would be appreciated (I’m currently counting klicks from a 15mg pen)

soupforbrains · 29/09/2025 12:47

@Bipalossthis is my moment to shine.

as most of you know I switched to slit dosing pretty early on due to side effects. Through split dosing I've been able to increase my overall dose far beyond what was making me horrendously sick as a single dose.

initially I started by doing a 2/3 + 1/3 dose. Now though I find it’s just most consistent to do half and half.

the only particular advantage of 2/3 + 1/3 is is you always want to inject at the same time of day. I do recommend using the medication function in your phone (I assume non iPhones have this too) to give you reminders though.

using a 15mg pen I would say the best options are the below;

Dropping to 10mg
either 2x 20clicks (5mg) 3.5 days apart (e.g. Fri am and Mon pm)
or 1x 24clicks (6mg) and 1x 16clicks (4mg) on a 4 day/3 days pattern.

staying at 12.5mg
either 2x 25clicks (6.25mg) 3.5 days apart
or 1x 30clicks (7.5mg) and 1x20clicks (5mg) on the 4day/3day pattern

you may, once the side effects are under control want to go to 15mg
2 x 30 clicks (7.5mg) every 3.5 days
or 1x40 clicks(10mg) and 1x 20 clicks (5mg) on the 4 day 3 day pattern.

hope this helps!

personally I find it easiest to dose the same dose every time and just have reminders set for the 3.5day split.

Fairfaxandflavor · 29/09/2025 13:00

Forgot to say yesterday thank you to everyone on here I would not have got to my goal without everyone I'll try to post my before and after pics but I'm not great at tech, second one has dog for scale lol🐕

@Fairfaxandflavor wow! What a difference. You've inspired me to try and sort a before and after pic to share. I'm not quite at goal yet but very nearly there!

TheBossOfMe · 29/09/2025 14:29

Wow @Fairfaxandflavor , that is an amazing transformation, really brilliant!

Ingangoolie · 29/09/2025 19:36

@Fairfaxandflavor and @TheSpoonyNavyReader thanks for sharing photos, great to see.
also enjoyed the side boob image, thank you @LilyLondon
Love all the stories everyone, what a bunch of impressive people.

SW 13st 3lb
CW 9st 12lb
GW 9st 6lb
Then will maintain dose and increase carbs and see how it goes for a few months before slow titration down.

anyone else with Oushk? They sent an email last week about 3 different options when reached target, including one where you can stop taking, slowly if I do this, and then pay a monthly subscription £15 I think it is, and can restart if needed without having to have high BMI and all the reregistration requirements. Seems you can swap from other providers for this too. Tempted.

lastapache · 29/09/2025 23:38

Hi everyone- just a quick update from me:

SW: 185lb
GW: 135lb
CW: 150lb

My weight loss has been slowwwwww. I actually started at 205lb in 2024 and lost 20lb on 1mg of Ozempic, which was all was available in Ireland at the time. I wonder is it the fact that I have been on some sort of GLP1 medication for 18 months that my body has gotten used to it? I’m on 11mg of MJ a week now, which seems like a lot but I’m still only losing 0.5/1lb a week. That said I went up very slowly through the doses which means I have had very manageable side effects and I don’t appear to have gotten to much saggy skin or ageing face.

Lots of people are noticing now that I’ve lost weight and honestly it’s quite weird. It’s like there was a click in everyone’s head. I’ve been very honest when asked what did I do and reactions have been mostly positive. One colleague I think was a bit disappointed when I told her, as she has maybe a stone of baby weight to lose and thought I had hit on some magic formula. When I said MJ she suddenly didn’t know what to say and it all went a bit flat, as obvs MJ isn’t available for her to take. I get that too. I’d feel the same in her position.

I really need to buy some new clothes. What with the price of MJ, and the fact that I’m saving for surgery in January to get my diastasis recti fixed, (and Christmas and groceries and yada yada) I can’t afford a new wardrobe. Vinted is my friend and I may see if it cheaper to get clothes taken in. How I wish I had mother’s dressmaking skills now!

Thank you so much for your guidance 😀

I think I will try the 7.5 and 5 split to start with but do it every 4 days (I like jabbing same time of the day so I don’t forget) then see what I do after a couple of weeks . Will start on Friday 7 days after last jab and then do second on Tuesday, let’s see how it goes first few days going so much lower so hopefully I maintain the weight while I transition 😂

GameOfJones · 30/09/2025 11:57

Ok, I'm finally feeling brave enough to share a before and after photo. Sorry for the terrible before picture..... I have so few of them because I absolutely hated having my photo taken!

I was 15st 1lb in the before photo or thereabouts this time last year. I lost a bit myself before starting Mounjaro at the beginning of March when I was 14st. I'm now 10st 9lbs.

Fairfaxandflavor · 30/09/2025 14:23

Puddingpiper · 30/09/2025 14:32

Some fabulous transformations on here well done ladies

Ingangoolie · 30/09/2025 21:36

@GameOfJones bravo and thanks for sharing

Fatmumslim01 · 01/10/2025 11:40

Wow @GameOfJones that's an amazing transformation!

Massive NSVs here....I can cross my legs (when in seated) I just sat down now and realised that without thinking I had crossed my legs and it's comfortable! Wasn't able to do that in a bigger body as my top leg would just slide off, it couldn't cross over the bottom one enough to stay on.

GameOfJones · 01/10/2025 15:06

Ahh thank you all. I genuinely don't know what I'd have done without the support of this group. ❤️

Puddingpiper · 01/10/2025 18:40

In terms of weird and (not so) wonderful side effects I have a new one, I’ve just started my first period in 10 and half years. I had the implant after having my son and periods never returned until today also coincided with a near 2kg weight loss

Bipaloss · 01/10/2025 22:55

It’s a great feeling isn’t it! I cross my legs every opportunity now , different seats hight etc and still amazes since I could do it again two months ago 😂 last week it crossed under my work desk and next goal is kitchen table (although I don’t know if it is at all possible as I’m a slim leg person)

hubby told me today that I am getting very slim but have fat in places I shouldn’t like around bra and tummy and that my body is meant to be very slim (both my sister and my mom is on the lower bmi scale) and that I need to up my gym going to tone up and to slow the weight loss (I don’t agree as I now average 1lb a week) as I’m starting to have a lot of loose skin. I’m getting to that point that I agree I need to tone up and ever since starting this journey all I want is a mummy Makeover (apron skin removal, breast uplift) so I need to up my game and get moving more so that I tone the rest that surgery cannot fix , especially with 2 more st to loose

northernlight20 · 02/10/2025 08:59

morning wveryone, so I’ve moved jab and weigh day to Thursday his week due to my holiday last week. Weighed in at 84kg today so 0.8kg loss since last sat. And jabbed 12.5mg. I work out a lot and I’ve noticed some comments in the gym. The men say ‘you look great, well done, keep going’ and the women say ‘you look great, but don’t go too far and lose too much’. Just amused me as all the women who’ve said this to me, are stones lighter than me. And considering I started this journey at 18st, just makes me think other women just don’t want you smaller for whatever reason known only to them. Very odd.

Wow your weight losses area amazing , close to 5st now ?

yes women say the same to me , I don’t think it’s ill intent I just think woman keep up with weight loss news and celebrities more thinking that everyone who looses a lot cannot stop the loss etc but I also had one saying don’t loose to much so I don’t recognise you 😂 so maybe it’s a bit of both
