Feel free to lurk or post, absolutely no judgement here, just support and encouragement as we list old clothes on vinted, give thanks for MJ as we enjoy a far more comfortable Summer significantly lighter. We now wear ALL the damn shorts 💪🏻

Join us here to celebrate NSV’s, weight loss milestones, maintenance and our lowest stone brackets!

I’m on W35 D2 and on my fourth 7.5mg pen
F in my early 50’s
H 5’ 5.5”
SW 13st 11lb
CW 9st 10.6lbs
GW 9st 7lb
Total loss so far 56.4 lbs

We recommend the Shotsy app to monitor the amount of MJ in the system and pleasing graphs to look at…plus the MeThreeSixty body scan app to monitor inch loss for the weeks where weight loss is slow but you might have lost body fat etc. Both are free.

Feel free to swap recipes that might inspire anyone in a food rut, tips for managing side effects, exercise tips, tips for maintenance, titrating up or down and we love a wellness/supplements/beauty/ style chat too 🥰

Wow @Dreamqueen you look stunning. Gorgeous dress.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 04/08/2025 08:44

<sounds healthy BMI klaxon for @SerenePeer >

Hurray, well done you! And excellent news about the swimsuit and liking the photo - liking photos of yourself is one of the biggest changes. Turns out I’m not so dreadfully unphotogenic as I thought now I’m 3 stone down.

It really is amazing how much kinder the camera is when there's 3 stone less of me!

SerenePeer · 04/08/2025 21:26

Dreamqueen · 04/08/2025 17:02

3lbs under my goal weight of 8st 7lbs. On maintenance with Ouskh. Fed up of people saying I’m too scrawny, I’ve spent my whole life dreaming of being smaller than I was at every point of my life since age 12.

You look fabulous!!

Pumpkinforever · 04/08/2025 22:56

Looking good @Dreamqueen Ignore the naysayers and focus on being fabulous

Cantbesure · 04/08/2025 23:01

Looking lovely @Dreamqueen we are a similar weight but you are probably taller than me. I’m def not scrawny but I do feel slim.

amazing achievement @SerenePeer

I wish I was microdosing. I can’t lie, I do miss the help of MJ. It feels much harder without it.

Dreamqueen · 05/08/2025 08:11

Thank you for all the lovely comments on my photo.
@Cantbesure I'm only just 5 feet.
Today is `dh birthday so much food and drink will be involved.

Cantbesure · 05/08/2025 09:35

You are taller than me @Dreamqueeni never reached the dizzy heights of 5 foot!! Happy birthday to your DH. Enjoy the celebrations 🥂

MounjNewb · 05/08/2025 10:00

I haven't posted in a while but have been keeping up with everyone elses' news - you really are a marvelous lot, achieving great things! So proud to be on the journey with you all.

I've finished the drop to my second goal weight, aiming to nestle nicely in the BMI 21.5-22 range (I'm 5' 8"). Will now be nudging my dose down again a little, but aiming to stay on MJ indefinitely - I want/need its help......

My spreadsheet chart (weight in blue) - note Christmas blip, short stall in Feb, maintenance at first target for a few weeks, then final drop:

Being reviewed.....

Edit - oh, there it is!

random223 · 05/08/2025 10:19

Well done @MounjNewb. Lovely graph!

MagnoliaTreePetals · 05/08/2025 10:48

That's a great graph @MounjNewb . Well done on your achievements.
I'm also 5'8", approaching a healthy BMI for the first time since I was a child. (Not that BMI's existed then!), having started this with a BMI of 35.

However I would like to go down to a lower BMI, and shed some of the body fat that is still there.
Did you find dropping that last bit any more difficult?

MounjNewb · 05/08/2025 11:16

Thank you.

No - the last bit was easy enough - I just upped my MJ dose a bit from that I was maintaining at and concentrated on going back into calorie deficit.

MyRootinTootinBaby · 05/08/2025 12:35

I’ve been away for a couple of weeks, and so am catching up. Well done on all the losses and beautiful outfits!

I’ve been on an AI holiday, and I decided to come off MJ for the holiday. I actually wanted to be able to eat all of the delicious things, so did my last jab on the 15th and went on holiday on the 20th.

I’ve eaten everything I wanted, and had a great time, so I’m not surprised that I’ve gained. I’ve weighed myself three times since I’ve been back, and the gain has fluctuated between 2lbs and 9lbs! So I need to let it settle and see where I sit on my usual weigh in day on Sunday.

I’m back counting my calories today, but I think I’m going to hold off on the jab and see how I do. If I struggle, I won’t hesitate to get back on it, but I want to see how I manage with going back to reduced calories first. Will keep you updated on how it works out.

I had a day off so I schlepped on public transport to a town with a Bravissimo branch. Start of the the MJ journey? 42F. Today, with a couple of stone still to go? 36FF. Shocked face! I have gone up a cup size but down six whole inches on the band. The fitter was absolutely lovely too. I'm 70 odd quid poorer, but I now have two bras that properly fit.

Pumpkinforever · 05/08/2025 15:35

Klaxon time for @MounjNewb for the graph alone

📣🔔📣🔔📣🔔📣🔔

I still have a stone and a half until I get to a healthy BMI and can see myself on MJ for the foreseeable.

That's awesome. I've gone from a 36JJ to a 32HH.

Just back from holiday, will be interesting to see what the impact on the scales has been. I ate more but also did more exercise.

I mentioned the Maintenance Phase podcast already, I was listening to the episode on Body Mass Index which was interesting and it does show there's not a huge basis to it in terms of science, or at least really only suitable for populations rather than the individual way that it's being used now.

The history behind it is unexpected. However, I do still think it's a useful basic height and weight metric as a comparison. But important to remember it's not necessarily helpful as a health indicator for individuals.

We'll all have different BMIs that may be our goal or where we are happy and healthy.

Mounjaropen · 06/08/2025 07:15

Good morning everyone from wedding central! Two more sleeps to go 😉

Weight steadfastly remaining at 132.0lbs but I’ll be having rose tomorrow night (wedding eve) so I might get to my round number target of 130.0lbs.

I’m off to a live Pvolve class today! It’s with one of their trainers in central London so wish me luck! I’m quite excited because I never do this sort of thing but I need to be in central London for a couple of pre wedding bits so when I got the invitation, I thought, why not? I doubt I’ll be in anything that makes it to SM given that I’m sure there’ll be a ton of beautiful people in the room, but I decided this year I’d fill my life with new things, dedicate time to myself rather than the family and only say yes to events/invitations that bring me joy. So here we are. This will be my 171st class since November 💪🏻

Happy Wednesday everyone!

aw how lovely @Mounjaropen enjoy every second of wedding prep. I’m sure you will have the most amazing day.

Pumpkinforever · 06/08/2025 13:45

And we are all excited for you @Mounjaropen should be great weather for your special day 💍👰‍♀️

We need a photo of those shoes on though.

And here’s to a rose weight shift 🥂🤞🏻 but I am sure a Pvolve class should assist.

KentishMama · 06/08/2025 13:53

Very exciting @Mounjaropen !!! Wishing you a wonderful wedding week and a very special day...

KentishMama · 06/08/2025 13:57

Does anyone know if MedExpress changed their maintenance policy? I just tried to reorder, and they are "unable to support" because my BMI is now at 23.2. Apparently they don't prescribe maintenance doses when you are under 23.5.
That seems really random to me. My endocrinologist asked me to aim for the middle of the healthy BMI range, which would be 21.7, still a little bit lower than I am now. I am not really focused on losing any more and just gradually inching closer to that goal, but obviously, I can't do that if they're refusing to prescribe...

I just checked again, and Google says: The middle of the healthy BMI range for women is 21.7 (the average of 18.5 and 24.9). A healthy BMI for women is generally considered to be between 18.5 and 24.9, according to the NHS.

So... why is MedExpress being so weird about it? Do I need to move to another supplier?!

I had this. So TBH, I adjusted my weight so that my BMI was above the cut-off point for that month and since then have moved to Oushk. The system is not very sophisticated so cannot tell that you’ve just upped your weight. I did not think that MedExpress did maintenance anyway so I’ve just permanently shifted from now on….

Aww thanks for the kind wishes. The class was insane! I’ve actually never completed a live class and this one was 55 minutes so talk about baptism of fire! Everyone was lovely, the Trainer was fantastic (he complimented me on my energy levels)and I even got a goodie bag!

As an NSV for today, I’ve just had a rather nice encounter with the skims lady in Selfridges who took one look at me in my workout gear and said okay so you must be a size 6 to 8? Dear lovely friends in my phone, I walked away with a pair of bum lifting shorts in size XS. Unbelievable!

@Mounjaropenwhat a brilliant encounter. And wooohooo for tiny skims. Well done on going for it with the class too.
