Sorry about the well-used book - we lived on instant pot curries when we were without a kitchen. Amazed we can still bear to eat them actually, we must have had this and butter chicken every week for about five months 🙀

Week 4, day 3, 2.5mg, still grotty AF

B: protein granola with frozen cherries and fat greek yogurt, two cups of tea

Sn: a cheese and marmite english muffin with butter Blush

L: cheese and ham sourdough toastie

D: leftover chicken with roasted courgettes and tomatoes with spaghetti, tiny bit of garlic bread

Sn: a mini oreo ice cream and half a halloween chocolate cupcake

Lots of water, squash, diet lemonade.

NOT a good day. Feed a cold, starve a fever and all that… BlushConfused

@gimmemounjaro that’s a fab sounding recipe, thanks for sharing! I love my instant pot and go through phases of using it and then it stays in the cupboard for a while, I feel like it’s due an outing. 🤩

The book is Indian Instant Pot Cookbook by Urvashi Pitre, if you want more inspiration! The butter chicken is lovely too but quite indulgent. And by that I mean it’s mostly butter and cream 😋😱

Oh, above was week 4, day 2.

This is week 4, day 3, still 2.5mg

B: protein granola, fat free greek yogurt and frozen cherries and raspberries, two coffees and half a dose of collagen

L: sourdough bread topped with roast chicken and avocado followed by half a ‘croissant delight’ cake from local bakery

D: same as for breakfast Blush

Lots of squash, a can of pepsi max and two teas. Not the best but marginally better than yesterday. Still got this cold…

L: leftover beef stroganoff with tagliatelle, protein yogurt with frozen raspberries, pineapple, mango and papaya

D: fishfingers in a wrap with lettuce, tomato, avocado, pink pickled onions, sriracha mayo, some coleslaw on the side. Maybe a bit of dark choc for afters

D: M&S individual mushroom pie (omg best thing I’ve ever had in my mouth!), two small new potatoes, broccoli

S: protein ice cream bar, sherbet lemon

Cycled to and from work (about 10 miles)

Homemade broccoli and stilton soup, bit of fresh baguette and butter

Tsp cheap nutella

Walked 9,400 steps 🚶‍♀️

L: butternut squash and pancetta soup, crackers, an apple
S: apples
Usual supplements, green tea, 2 litres of water, g&ts, wine

Wk 70, day 7, 3.75mg, dose 1 (maint)
B: scrambled egg, feta, asparagus, whole grain rye toast
L: gochujang turkey mince, pak choy, rice noodles, an apple
D: fast800 butter chicken, peppers, spinach, rice, an apple
Usual supplements, green tea, 2 litres of water
No run as I’ve messed up my knee 😫

B: porridge with frozen raspberries, a smidge of peanut butter and 2g honey, three coffees, one containing a dose of collagen

L: half a tub of m&s mulligatawny soup, a slice of sourdough with cheese and chutney

D: roast chicken breast with roast potatoes, roast carrots, crème fraiche cavolo nero and tenderstem broccoli, 100ml of gravy and a m&s mini cupcake to finish GrinGrin

Gallons of squash, a can of pepsi max and two cups of tea. Slightly better day.

My diet is still shocking!!! I’m 2.5 years in and 5 stone down.

On Monday all I had was a packet of crisps and a coffee.

Today:

L: Nothing
D: Out, quinoa salad, steak with fried potato and green beans, small amount of cheese, 3 glasses of wine.

Been on MJ for 30 wks today! 3.75 mg maintenance

yesterday’s food

B: Greek yog, frozen raspberries, sprinkle muesli

L: Big slice of Jason’s sourdough with applewood smoked cheddar, tomato, satsuama, 20g bag salted popcorn

S: Apple (had a baby bel with me but forgot about it!)

D: Mini breaded fish and some frozen calamari, peas, homemade potato wedges (husband’s go to easy tea - I ate it all!)

Cycled to and from work

Period has hit and im feeling rubbish 😢 very aware women have been struggling for millenia, im not special. Have always had problems, weirdly since losing weight the last two have been heavier / more painful / took more out of me. Not sure if thats true or just that I'm feeling healthier so when I feel a bit poorly, I feel properly shit. As well as the usual symptoms im also freezing cold. Marvellous 🤣 it is also very demoralising trying to eat right but seeing the scale stubbornly remain the same while on

Anyway enough moaning. Yesterday was;

Half a bowl of broccoli and stilton soup, baguette, butter

Steak, Mushrooms, homemade chips, peppercorn sauce

Some white forest ice cream 🍦

Some water, but not enough tbh!
