L: turkey salad sandwich from a bakery, they have lovely granary bread that doesn’t send me straight to sleep (unlike most bread). Protein yogurt with raspberries

D: beef and olive casserole, cabbage with bacon, carrots, cauliflower. Peanut and chocolate protein bar

B: scrambled egg, feta, asparagus, smoked salmon
L: smoked mackerel, cowboy caviar, an apple
D: gochujang chicken, rice, pak choy, an apple

D: pasta with tomato and chilli sauce, Parmesan. 2x squares of dark choc.

Been losing over the last few days and I’m at the bottom of the Maintenance Zone of Acceptability so hopefully the pasta will mean I’m up a pound or so tomorrow

@gimmemounjaro I too seem to be only a pound away from the bottom of my zone yet feel I have been stuffing myself! Not overly drastic as bmi is still 21.9 but really cannot get my head around the possibility of dropping under 8 stone!!!

@IReallyNeedThisToWork I’m tempted to go a little lower, I do still get that little buzz from a loss and I wonder what it would be like to be a size 8 or whatever - but I have a bunch of nice clothes that fit and I’m quite saggy enough at BMI 22.4 😂

I’m finding it hard to eat enough too - I’ve lost 2.5lbs in the last 6 days eating pretty well, but hopefully it will even out as I reduce the dose a bit more. Currently on 6.7mg, hoping this bodes well for maintaining at something lower than that.

How do you do your gochujang chicken? We have a jar of gochujang paste in the fridge that needs eating up.

L: smashed avocado on toast with feta, poached egg and streaky bacon, soda water and lime, cup of tea

D: southern Indian chicken curry with basmati rice and a slither of naan bread

Two more cups of tea, lots of squash and water

@gimmemounjaro I made this but used chicken mince as it was what I had! Also used a Lidl hot honey mix instead of the honey and worked fine. Really yummy!! 😁

Day 6, week one, 2.5mg

L: ham and cheese open sourdough sandwich with chutney, bag of lentil crisps

Sn: protein yogurt

D: margarita pizza (aiming for two or three slices) and salad with peppers, leaves, olives and cucumber, tablespoon of mayo

Two teas, one peppermint tea, one can of pepsi max and lots of water

Oh it’s just my stupid way of referring to the weight range I am trying to stay within now I’m maintaining. Basically 150-159 lbs for me. I was expecting the difficult part to be staying below 159 but the other end is actually just as tricky 🫠

D: cowboy caviar
S: (this is where it went pear shaped! 😂) cheese and onion crisps (don’t think I’ve had these for over a year!), Lidl choc hobnobs knockoffs (or these!)
Usual supplements, green tea, 2 litres of water, 2 glasses prosecco
Late nights out on Fridays are def having an effect on eating on Saturdays 😁

B: cheddar and marmite muffin split and toasted with two poached eggs, 25g light halloumi, half an avocado and chilli jam, two coffees and half a dose of collagen powder

L: slice of sourdough, butter and cheese

Sn: soreen apple bar, half a biscuit, 1/2 a bottle of protein shake

D: chicken breast, roasted bbq peppers, courgettes and onion and butterbeans with tenderstem broccoli

Two teas, lots of s/free squash

Long day visiting DD at uni, 7hrs in the car 😰

Hence all food today came from Reading Services 😳

B: Decaf black coffee. Costa sausage bap (with brown sauce obvs).

L: M+S egg and tomato sandwich, crisps, flapjack

S: millionaires shortbread

D: M+S prawn sandwich, crisps, fudge bar

Feel a bit bunged up after all that bread -looking forward to some fruit and veg tomorrow. And will be interesting to see what a day like that does to the numbers on the scale, hopefully up a bit but not too much 🤔

Current dose 5mg
maintenance but at the top end of my zone of tolerance - wouldn’t mind dropping a few more lbs!

B: Cappucino, pink lady apple, Greek yog, granola

L: 3 small slices homemade pizza on wholemeal base (wholemeal got a resounding thumbs down across the board will go back to white flour next time!), pizza express dipping sauce, chopped salad with sweet chilli sauce

D: spicy halloumi rice and broccoli

S: 2 gummy bears, Lidl chocolate protein ice cream bar (I love these!)

Loads of water and two teas… Less carby day needed tomorrow me thinks.
