Just thought I’d chuck in some stats… (wish mn had flairs like Reddit!)

I’m 120lbs down and have been maintaining since May. Minimal side effects and currently on 5mg. Planning on staying on a glp1 of some variety forever!

Fast800 SW: 17 st 7
MJ SW: 16st 12
CW: 8st 4

I will join you - lost 88 lbs and maintaining for 7 weeks so far. On the way back down the doses and currently on 6.8mg, with a view to maybe coming off MJ next year, but if I need or want to continue with a maintenance dose that will also be fine. Minimal side effects - just low bp latterly - now feeling better and also sleeping better as the dose reduces.

SW: 17st 3
CW: 10st 13
GW: remain within 10st 10 - 11st 5

Do you buy 5mg pens or do you buy higher doses so they last longer? I am currently using up a 10mg pen but only because in the early days I used to order at the first reminder so got a few pens ahead of myself.

I’ve never been a healthy weight, even as a child, so this is hopefully going to be my gateway to newfound territory, bit scary but exciting too. Thanks for sharing!

I'll share my stats too:

SW: 15st 1lb

CW: 10st 9lbs

My goal is to be under 10st 7lbs so I'm very close to that now which I cannot believe. I'm currently jabbing 3.75mg out of a 5mg pen to ease me into maintenance. I'm on week 31 (I think!)

Today's food:

B - ginger and apple detox shot and a homemade oat bar

L - hummus on sourdough with mixed seeds, handful of grapes

D - lamb chop, new potatoes and green veg

Week 1, day two, on 2.5mg.

B: 35g protein granola, fat free yogurt and frozen fruit

L: leftover portion of cheesy leeks and 75g with sourdough, slither of butter (7g) and two slices of ham

Sn: protein yogurt and soreen banana bar

D: chicken and salad wrap

2L of water, two coffees and two teas

Roast pork, celeriac, braised lentils, green beans, broccoli
A little bit of white wine
An after eight

Today:
Overnight oats
Braised lentils
Protein bar, olives
Salmon, sweet potatoes, salad.

And I'm on W4, D2&3.

Here's today's.....

Not the best day food wise.

B..... nothing

L.... didn't eat until 2pm, subway chicken teriyaki 6 inch sub. Ate all as was so hungry!

D....honey sesame pork noodles.

S....one bite of a twix then felt sick 🙄

3 teas, my usual 2-3 litres of water and usual vitamins.

B: scrambled egg, feta, asparagus, smoked salmon
L: leftover chicken udon from Saturday’s takeaway with extra chicken and veg from Sunday’s roast, an apple
D: cheddar and sweet chilli thins, an apple
S: an apple
Usual supplements, green tea, 3 litres of water, electrolytes, clear whey (may have overdone the exercise today…)

Thanks all! I find it fascinating to tie the intake into what stage we are all at. @gimmemounjaro superb loss, well done! I am currently taking 5 from a 7.5 pen but have got a 5mg in the fridge. Once I’d had my maintenance chat there was an expectation I would start to move down as I kept losing on the higher doses. Tempted to give 3.75 a whirl to see what happens…

@IReallyNeedThisToWork I may have asked this already can't remember but how tall are you? Your starting weight and current weight are similar to mine so wondering if we are about the same height? I'm 5 foot, start was 14-7 and goal is 9-7 (although that would still be overweight?) I dream of being under 9 stone but I was last under 9 stone about 20 years ago!

L - chunk of brie, oatcakes and an apple

D - lentil daal with onions and peppers topped with two fried eggs. Bit like an Indian shakshuka. Sourdough for dipping.

@Fatmumslim01 I too am 5ft. My original goal was 9 stone but I went for the last 2lbs to make a nice round 8st loss on MJ 😂 and then it kept coming off and I seem to have settled between 8 - 8st 7. I am apparently quite a small framed person 🤷‍♀️

I do not remember EVER being under 9st! MFP has my heaviest at 19st 9. At 9st I was a comfortable size 10 whereas I am now an 8 in most brands. I look slim not thin and am pretty well muscled as I do a LOT of exercise.

I would say not to stress about a goal weight tbh. Just go with it and see how you feel wherever you are. I like my body the best around 8st 2 but am also happy at 8 7 (slightly more boobs!) and know I don’t want to go under 8st. I reckon my body will look very different this time next year after it’s had a while to think about its new size - I can see skin changes already even in my late 50s!

Thanks @IReallyNeedThisToWork my mini goal is 11-7 as that was my pre lockdown weight and I'm so close to that now I'm 11-12. Then I'm just taking it half a stone at a time.

@gimmemounjaro echoing the others that your meals sounds lovely

@cheekysausage123 it sounds like you are eating well on your first week.

Heres me yesterday...

B... nothing just cup of tea and water. Need to get back into the breakfast habit even if it's just an actimel drink

L... leftover noodles from previous night (sesame honey pork). Small bowl of grapes

D....chilli and rice.

S....potato cake

L: 75g sourdough with a scraping of butter and marmite topped with scrambled egg and half an avocado

S: protein milkshake and a clementine

D: courgette, lemon and prawn pasta

Two cups of tea, a can of pepsi max and lots of water/squash.

May have a bag of mini party rings later.
