Completely agree the necessity of cheese 🙂‍↕️

B: decaf black coffee

L: sourdough toast with butter, marmite, mashed avocado and soft boiled eggs

D: a few bites of dinner which was gammon with cabbage and potatoes, really couldn’t get it down so protein yogurt and raspberries instead. Not great but was a tricky evening all round.

Week 12, 5mg

B - coffee, prunes (yuck, iykyk) and apricots

L - sweet chilli chicken, cottage cheese, babybel, snack a jacks.

D - korean popcorn chicken with carrot salad and chips.

Snacks - orange ice lolly (much needed), a bit of chocolate, pot of dried mango, bag of wotsits. I always seem to overeat when I'm hot!

B: scrambled egg, feta, asparagus, smoked salmon, sourdough
L: totally necessary cheese and crackers, cherry tomatoes, 2 flat nectarines
D: pork fillet, new potatoes, roasted broccoli, mini salted caramel choc ice
S: 1/2 a fibre bar, apple
Usual supplements, green tea, 3 litres of water

Wk 20ish 5mg

B: pip and nut bar, americano with coconut milk

L: slice of sourdough, slice protein cheese, cucumber, mayo, lettuce, nectarine & 3 cherry toms

D: small baked potato, peas and sweetcorn, frozen scampi (my husband cooked!) - actually ate it all but it wasn’t a huge portion

S: 2 x curly Wurly squirly, small multipack crunchie

Week 24 - 5mg

I've been ill and off work this week so food is all over the place to be honest. I've been trying to prioritise protein and having some veg but cooking has been completely off my radar.

Yesterday:

B - black coffee

L - DH picked me up a very odd meal deal as I asked for high protein options. Prawn sandwich, a pepperami and a bottle of lucozade 🤣.

D - flatbread with falafel, avocado, hummus, kimchi and mixed seeds.

Today:

B - black coffee

L - peanut butter and marmite on toast with a cup of tea

D - a wrap with cheese, red pepper, sweetcorn, lettuce, tomato, onion.....and some chilli sauce so I could actually taste it.

B: 2 sausages, 2 fried eggs, slice of black pudding, baked beans, toast
D: 3 spare ribs, cowboy caviar, Tesco salted caramel mini choc ice
S: an apple, salted caramel fibre bar
Usual supplements, green tea, 3 litres of water, 0% rum, yogi tea, Diet Coke

B - coffee and 2 brioche and a pack of fruitella. OOOPS this was a mega fail since I usually don't eat breakfast.

L - chicken caesar sushi, large iced brown sugar latte

D - crispy chicken, rice and green beans

Everything else - orange ice lolly, 3 prunes, 2 apricots, handful of grapes, handful of pistachios.

DAMMMMMMN I ate today. Was like the old days. But not really, old days would be double the amount, but this was still a LOT.

B: scrambled egg, feta, asparagus, smoked salmon
L: totally necessary Stilton and crackers, 2 easy peeler oranges
D: piri piri smoked mackerel fillet, cowboy caviar, an apple
S: too many honey roast cashews

Usual supplements, green tea, 3 litres of water, yogi tea, 2 glasses of cava
Think I’m stress eating after yesterday 😫

L: chilli (finally finished it off), handful of cashews

D: turkey and courgette fritter type things, new potatoes in a slightly random pesto and a Persian style salad, square of dark choc

First week of maintenance done with no dramas, I am still on 7.5mg though and will see tomorrow whether I have gone up or down. Staying on 7.5mg for a few weeks to use up a 12.5mg pen, then will carry on reducing the dose and see how I feel / at what point panic sets in 😬

L - BBQ at a friend's house. I had a burger, some new potatoes and corn on the cob. Plus three glasses of prosecco.

D - didn't fancy much so had three seeded crackers spread with hummus and some grapes.

S: slices of ham, handful of cashews

D: warm black rice salad with chicken, red cabbage, pak choi, spring onions and almonds. 2 squares dark choc. Ooh, and a very rare but delicious glass of wine.

A hungry day today. I wonder whether just one of those days or if moving down to 7.5mg means that the days leading up to an injection are noticeably hungrier than those just after it. Going to a BBQ with a bunch of friends tomorrow so that will be a good test for the 7.5mg dose 😬

b- coffee, Greek yogurt with blueberries and honey. Was fat free but I think I’ll stick to full fat, it’s a nicer texture.

l- chicken wrap and corn on the cob from kfc. Was very nice! No sauce.

D - picky bits. Pizza and salad.

also a large iced brown sugar oat shaken espresso from Starbucks and a square of chocolate. And my usual prunes and apricots.

S: taste testing brownies and chocolate biscuit cake

L/D: bbq chicken and sausage with couscous salad, watermelon and feta salad, coleslaw, flatbread. Strawberries with a dollop of ice cream and aforementioned chocolatey things. Crisps and hummus. 3 x alcohol free beers since I was driving. All delicious but I might take a couple of days to recover before weighing again!

Mind you I am off to stay with the parents on Tuesday and that’s not the most diet friendly environment either 😬

D: chicken cacciatore, spoonful of rice, spinach, an apple
S: jam donut (I blame Lidl for giving it to me for feee!!), 3 chocolate hobnobs
Usual supplements, green tea, 4 litres of water, yogi tea
