I can’t actually believe it! I was a 20/22 at 16st 12 and 5’2 tall. Am now at goal at 8st 11. Thought I was a 10 but was trying some jeans on in Tesco (over leggings as they don’t have a bloody fitting room!!) and def an 8!

Wow that’s amazing. Well done. How long did it take you?

@Fatmumslim01 yep, maintenance coming at the end of this pen! Very apprehensive about it tbh!! 😬 Very similar - my bmi was 43.2 when I started and is now 22.3. NEVER thought I would ever be this size or feel this well in my life! I found that progress between sizes when I was a 22 to about 18 was very slow and the weight difference was huge whereas now I seem to change size within 7-10lbs🤷‍♀️
@Gingercar thanks! I hit target at 11 months and 11 days! Just finishing this current pen then coming back down.

Here's yesterday's food

Week 12 day 2
5mg, 16 pounds down

B... sourdough toast with butter and marmalade, it's the weekend after all!

L...6 X itsu steamed gyoza. Love these for lunch only around 200cal for 6. With soy sauce. Satsuma. Half a bag of vegetable crisps

D....2 sausage, a bite of mash, few spoons of broccoli cheese, few spoons of peas, gravy. For reference for evening meal portion size my evening meals on MJ fit onto a side plate whereas pre MJ I was eating the same size portion as my husband 😱

Snack...1 biscuit, 2 square of chocolate.

Usual 2L plus of water, 3 teas, 1 latte

Week 14 - 5mg

I love the gyoza too @Fatmumslim01 - I've got some in the freezer that I buy in bulk at Costco as I find them really handy for a quick meal.

B - black coffee and my supplements

L - toasted bagel with cream cheese and sprinkled with sesame seeds, poppy seeds, garlic flakes and chilli flakes

D - teriyaki pork stir fry with cauliflower rice

S - a can of Pepsi max

Week 9 - 5mg (last day of the week before re-jabbing!) and 30lbs down.

B - Cornflakes with strawberries, raspberries & skimmed milk

L - Bacon roll (home made, bacon done in the air fryer).

D - Chicken breast with a garlic & Parmesan sauce, tenderstem broccoli & some potatoes in the air fryer. No oil.

S - Small dark choc kitkat...along with 2 litres of water and 2 cups of tea.

That felt like a lot for me tbh...today (I jabbed this morning) I've eaten 1 cereal bar and a small salad for lunch and really not hungry for dinner yet whatsoever! But I will have something simple like a jacket sweet potato with some half fat cheese.

W3, D1, 1.25mg

B - 2 oat milk coffees

L - 2 scrambled eggs with 1 slice of toast

S - (mid afternoon hunger, think cos I missed breakfast? Dose needs to go up) bag of chicken pieces. Couldn't think of anything better to grab from Morrisons, but it was only 101 calories and 8.5g protein.

D - grilled aubergine with pineapple and onion and rice and beans. Barely ate the rice and beans though. Stuffed!

It's the first time I've snacked since I started on them. Usually have a banana for breakfast but forgot to buy any. Plus protein water drink as usual. No water, just realised, will try and force a glass down before bed.

L: greek yoghurt, frozen fruit, I shredded wheat, 10g collagen powder, small banana.
D: 2 boiled eggs, 100g soya beans, pea, spinach and ham soup (home-made)
No snacks. 2l water. 2 teas +1 coffee with skimmed milk

I'm still being punished for eating pork crackling on Sunday, indigestion and sore tummy so little appetite 😖🫣

D... pesto chicken spaghetti with rocket.

S ...2 bags of party size haribo. One snack pack size bag of mini cookies.

Usual 2L plus of water. 4 teas.

L - asparagus spears with two poached egg and a slice of Jason’s protein seeded bread.

D - not had it yet but probably some chicken and some cucumber, avocado and mango salad with pistachio nuts and other seeds.

S - a cube of Dubai chocolate. My first treat since this began and it was delicious but I only wanted the one instead of the whole box. Was also scared of feeling unwell!

L: 1/4 falafel wrap, half a dozen crisps, apple
D: tapas
S: cinnamon swirl
Usual supplements, green tea, 2 litres of water, yogi tea, 2 glasses of wine, 2 Kraken on ice

@Bbq1 and @NattyQuail . The injections don't directly make you lose weight per se. They suppress your appetite and stabilise your insulin as @MummyInTheNecropolis said. A side effect of that is that you tend to eat less, or make better food choices consistently and that's what makes you lose the weight. They are a GLP-1 hormonal medication. Amounts of this hormone vary between people so for some that have never struggled with their weight it seems obvious to say eat less and only eat when you're hungry. But for people that have been obese, we often are fighting constant food noise.

For me it has been a revelation. I'd done weight watchers, slimming world, paleo, slim fast, 5:2....you name it. I would inevitably lose some weight and then put it all back on or put on more.

I just hope to stay on Mounjaro long enough so that my good habits are ingrained so I can maintain this and not put the weight back on.

Don’t forget the Cabbage Soup diet! This was me exactly and always regained the weight!!

L: Banana with yogurt and crackers with houmous a a bit later

D: A bit of fish pie but no potato

Approx 2 l of water and electrolyte powder in some

(Gym session today but not at all hungry after)
