Chemist4U refused to prescribe me at my current bmi (24) as they don’t do maintenance for new customers. I was able to bang an order in with ME for 2 pens at the weekend, one of which has been approved (I should bloody well hope so!) so just waiting for the other one. I need to sit back and watch/wait and see what the prices are gonna do before deciding if to carry on or not.

Anyone else noticed how quiet the Oushk faithful have been lately? 😂

Wonkypictureframe · 27/08/2025 21:48

I’m with Oushk and got my order OK last week. I know they had sold out of most doses though. Has there been some big issue with them?

@Everyone

We're getting perilously close to the end of this latest thread. I seem to remember the inimitable @ObsidianTree didn't want to carry on as organiser or whatever it's called, but maybe she/someone can confirm? Anyone know something about the mechanics of the job and fancy taking it on?

Yes happy for someone else to continue the thread

Zava have released their prices. Not looking good their either. £310 for 15mg. But currently still accepting the referral codes so £40 off if anyone has any left!

I put another 2 orders in before their price changed. So hoping they honour that. They did send a generic email saying my order will be the old price. I ordered from simple online and bolt also. Once all my pens are delivered I should have enough to take me into the new year. Possibly to march /April... If I continue to reduce my dose.

Then will see what's happening with the prices and decide what to do. Will definitely try and stretch my pens as long as possible. That's for sure!

I almost got another 15mg pen, but decided in the end to cancel the order. I'd previously declared the one I'm on to be my last and just panic ordered one when the price rise was announced but after 10 days of E surgery not confirming it, I told them to cancel. At least someone else can have it.
Tapering off isn't going well, I've put 2kg on already after going down to 5mg. But we've had a lot of birthdays the last 2 months and overindulgence has reigned.
Haven't been to the gym for ages either.
I'm joining an exercise class next week with some colleagues as I thought a group activity would be better as it's more social, I find the gym hard to motivate myself for after work but having people to go with and do an activity together will be a nice experience.
I know maintenance is going to require work, I just haven't been able to bring myself to accept that this work must start now!

GrimDamnFanjo · 29/08/2025 00:55

My oushkk ordered is on its way - 7.5, 5 and 2.5 - currently on 10 with 17 lbs to lose to goal. BMI is about 25.9.
ive no idea what I’m going to do over the next few months.
i think I’ll start lengthening the time between doses. I need to read up on different strategies. I’ve always felt hungry a couple of days before a new dose.

Everdecreasingcircumferences · 29/08/2025 20:47

Evening All

My 2 x 10mg pens arrived from Oushk today (had been on 15mg but that and 12.5mg was out of stock when I ordered), I've moved to 12.5mg from my current 15mg pen to start tapering down.
Still bouncing around between 71 and 72kg when I need to get down to 69kg to officially not be overweight any more.
When I started this journey I thought I'd be happy with a 20kg loss and I'm well past that goal even if I do remain marginally overweight.
The fear of the regain is real though! Need to find a way to reduce to 2.5mg and not regain - as I want DH to stay on the jabs to stop him from developing diabetes, and we can't afford the prices for the higher doses for both of us.
Am still hitting the (very expensive) gym 3 times per week and I dont want to give that up as it's really working for me.

Where's that lottery win when I need it?!

Hey guys, I hadn't previously been using a needle to get out the "extra" dose but with the price increase I was looking to and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations of what type of need to buy? Many thanks 😊

ThirdStorm · 01/09/2025 15:15

I buy these. I recently placed an order as UKMEDI sent me a discount code, and a link to some syringes (which I assumed where my usual order although the fact they were cheaper should have made me think). When they arrived I realised they were 30g not 32g and whilst I will make use of them I hardly felt the 32g but I felt the 30g and it left a tiny bruise! https://ukmedi.co.uk/products/fms-micro-syringe-32g-8mm-1ml-fms-fms-32g-10ml-ukmedi-co-uk

@ThirdStorm Thank you very much 😊

MrsNessaSmithy · 16/09/2025 07:18

Morning checking in to ask a question.

I had surgery so had a break for a week. Was on 15mg then had a week break and then did about 6mg.

I am not sure of how quick to go back up. My appetite has come back so need to get back on it but am very nervous of side effects.

was thinking of doing a 7 dose today. Has anyone been in this position ? I am very worried about side effects and don’t want to increase dose too quickly.

I am laid up after knee surgery so am very bored and am struggling to not mindlessly eat. I have not weighed but the appetite and enforced immobility are not a good combination ,

KeepUndercover · 16/09/2025 07:23

@MrsNessaSmithy I've had breaks of a week and just gone back to my usual dose straight away without issue. Quite a lot of breaks as I got very haphazard about remembering once I was nearly at goal.

Choux · 16/09/2025 08:21

According to med express you could have just carried on with 15 after a single missed dose

Choux · 16/09/2025 08:31

Several providers on this list say you can restart at the same dose after a break of up to 8 weeks. I guess it all depends what side effects you have previously had and how you could cope if you got them again given your current mobility. Did you ask your supplier for advice?

MrsNessaSmithy · 16/09/2025 09:00

Thank you that’s very helpful.

@Choux I didn’t ask my provider. I guess after over a year on MJ I felt confident but was over cautious as I was concerned about increasing chances of nausea when on some heavy duty opiates. Also the immobility and difficulty getting to the loo was on my mind.

I have only had one incidence of severe side effects well over a year ago so will crack on and titrate back up fairly quickly. I am not liking the return of my appetite but, as I said, I feel the boredom and immobility is adding to that. Now the surety is done I can’t wait to be back to normal and finally start some exercise and regain my fitness.

Taking MJ has been life changing and it has had many benefits so will be on it for the long term. The support here in the early days was invaluable and I hope you are all doing well.

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 17/09/2025 22:37

Well dropping down to 7.5mg has caused no issues at all - I’ve actually lost 3lb despite not losing anything for months on 10mg. I’ve also had a 5mg pen delivered as there was £25 off this week with my prescriber.

I now feel I have too many pens left despite being in a bit of a panic a couple of weeks ago, as I’ve ordered 3 pens in around a month.

My stats are looking great lately which I’m really happy with.

Morning all
Just back from a 10 day holiday. I've eaten what I wanted, enjoyed yummy cocktails, and amazingly come back 2kg lighter. I felt sooo good in my bikini (highwaisted of course - ain't nothing doing for my tum).
My weight begins with a 6 for the first time since my teens. I can barely believe it - I did think I was looking a little slimmer but hadn't expected a loss. BMI is 25 on the dot - so am still overweight (just)!
Not jabbed for 11 days so am due one today, will continue reducing from my 15 pen so going to take 10mg I think and see how I handle it. Feeling confident - just need to get back to the gym habit now.

FlappyFish · 19/09/2025 12:32

The gym rocks. It cracks me up that I am addicted to exercise now. I had the best compliment ever from one of the staff there who said he was proud of me, (he did my weights induction back in December), and he can see my muscles popping.

I have done my first post price change order. Ouch. That hurt. But I said before and I will say again. If someone once told me I could pay for something to fix my weight I would. And I shall. I am just fortunate I can afford it.

Thebaldprimadonna · 13/01/2026 18:59

Greetings, fellow early adopters! Lovely to see so many names I recognise and to read how well things are going.

I had a long, long break in 2025 and my weight zoomed back (still over a stone down from my start weight, however).

I am starting again this weekend on 2.5mg. I am going to do things differently this time and change my habits.

I have started using the Zoe app to judge me to eat better, have signed up for Zumba and my dumbells have been dusted off. I am hoping to be able to stay on a low dose and use MJ more as a support than complete hunger banished.

Pray for me 😁🙏🏻😁
