I tapered off last year unti December then gained a stone over Christmas.
but even if I’m a week late with an injection I seem to stuff my face. Can’t shake it.

Snap! The optimist in me thinks that new stock will come in on Thursday/ Friday and it will them miraculously be approved and sent out. But then that might be stock they have paid Sept prices for so they won’t want to sell it to me at pre hiked prices.

Bolt have approved my 10mg order and posted it out, will be arriving tomorrow.

So Oushk has just confirmed their new prices - my current 7.5 dose will be going up from £140/ mo to £220/ mo, £80 increase = 60% increase! I have ordered enough to get me through Dec, so I will see if this pricing holds . Assuming a standard 40% price mark up, the wholesale price to Oushk should be £88. My assumption might be wrong. If pharmacies are in fact being offered around £90 wholesale, we will have to see who blinks first. I have time to watch this play out.

Good intel @Moanranger. I'm on 7.5 with them too. £220 is outrageous. I'll have to use my 3 pens to get down to 5 at least. Like you I have time to work this out.

Just started my reduction in dose. Taken approx 8mg from a 10mg pen and will reduce to 7.5mg next week.

I managed to order a 10mg pen while I was on holiday but no word from my pharmacy re delivery so far. I’m annoyed I had to pay full price for it though, just to make sure I got an order in before the price rise. I would only usually order every 6wks but this time wasn’t even 4wks.

What's a good reduction plan. 1mg each injection?

What I find is, when I do this I lose track of what I've got left in a pen. And panic when the pen stops clicking halfway through!

@Notsuchafattynow I find it easier to manage using a syringe. Each pen has 3.2ml, so I can keep a note of exactly how many ml I'm extracting for each dose. Obviously a little math is required to recalculate ml to mg.

Don't worry if the clicks run out part way through. Just take a breath, grab your syringe and take what you need with that. You can always ask on here if you want to get your maths checked.

I reduced 1mg per month/pen but in hindsight, could probably have gone faster. I keep a note on my phone of every dose and when I start a new pen so I have a good idea of how many doses I've got left.

I've just been going down a pen strength so far. I've currently got a 12.5mg pen and not noticed a massive difference from my 15. Still losing a little weight each week so I'll do 10mg next. It's nice and easy this way, might change plans when I get lower.

The new Oushk pricing has confirmed I won’t be moving back up to 7.5mg. Such a massive jump between 5 and 7.5. I have just started a 5mg and bought another 3 x 5mg pens so am good through to the new year but have been wondering if I needed to go back up to 7.5mg as have been white knuckling it a bit on 5mg on maintenance. Can’t afford to though! Hoping maybe the price will come down in the next few months otherwise I might have to find a new pharmacy that will take me on with my 22BMI

I’d be interested in looking at Wegovy if the benefits are the same as Mj in terms of reduced inflammation (not interested in losing more weight). Has anyone here been on Ozempic/Wegovy and notice a reduction in inflammation?

Yes the jump from 5-7.5 is awful and hasn't been picked up on much. I wonder why?

I'd just received 3xpens just before all this kicked off and with another pen from yonks back, I'm ok for 28weeks which just seems bonkers. I'm almost decided I'm going to shift to Wegovy, 1 pen with oushk to get past the headache of explaining away microdosing (as they'd already agreed 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off and I'll just say I took a longer break for washout of MJ), then move to a cheaper provider. Well that's today's plan anyway!

I didn’t notice any reduction in inflammation on wegovy but i suddenly started wanting chicken Caesar wraps at 8am… didn’t work for me at all

@KrankyKumquatyes no one is really commenting on this massive jump though it seems this is consistently the biggest gap between prices across the board. Eli Lilly obviously class 7.5mg as a higher dose and choose to keep 2.5 and 5 relatively low to lure people in before getting them hooked. Bastards! I might look at using my 5 doses in each pen over 4 weeks instead of 5. Annoying though.

@Buffypawsthat’s not the feedback I was hoping for! Bugger. I’ve also been really lucky with few side effects in Mj and have heard Wegovy can be a bit brutal. So much cheaper though. Oh well, I have a good few months to ponder

By no means take my word for it! Everyone is different and it works for many. I didn’t get any side effects either.

Yes, I guess mileage may vary. I’m starting to get some inflammation back again on 5mg which is the main reason I’m looking to go back up for a bit. I’d forgotten how horrible it is to have knee pain and also weirdly, my bunion is hurting again where I haven’t even noticed it for months and months. Was hoping Wegovy would have the same impact on me that Mj clearly had. Only one way to find out I guess

We're getting perilously close to the end of this latest thread. I seem to remember the inimitable @ObsidianTree didn't want to carry on as organiser or whatever it's called, but maybe she/someone can confirm? Anyone know something about the mechanics of the job and fancy taking it on?

You have to order 2.5 and then do the consultation and let them know then that you want a higher dose.
