Hello all. I’m place marking but will hopefully not chicken out and be back in a couple of days.

Can I ask which chemists you’re using?

I started today. Still waiting for it to kick in as I can think of nothing but food! I know it can take a while to work and in the meantime I'm trying to stick to a calorie deficit.

How are you feeling? I had my first injection Thursday evening.

I’m here because Ozempic stopped working for me and I piled the weight back on.

I am signed up through Juniper. Someone is going to call me and then hopefully I’ll get sent my first batch of MJ.

I used pharmacy 4 u. They send my NHS prescriptions via the post too so I just went along with them.

I don't think I'm feeling any different currently...but maybe if I analyse it, I don't feel hungry.

I was getting fed up of the nausea on wegovy. I couldn't drink tea or coffee at all without violently vomiting.

That said in my gap of a few weeks from wegovy I did put on 5lbs fairly quickly and easily so I'm worried about what happens when I reach target weight

Pleased to see a Jan group has started. I took my first jab on New Year’s Day and had immediate suppression. That day and the following day I could have quite happily eaten nothing. It’s definitely starting to wear off now which is fine as I wasn’t really expecting to have any suppression at this dose.

No real side effects, was a bit cold for one of the days and have had a headache today but could be unrelated.

I’ve got about 6 stone to lose to I’m in it for the long haul and excited to see how everyone else gets on!

2days in for me Anyone experiencing a funny taste in their mouth? I'm still grazing which is my usual eating style but filling up faster.

I have been thinking about food a fair bit. My issue isn't volume and portion sizes but snacks!

How's everyone going? I'm day 4 and seem to be back to "I could eat the fridge" mode, which is slightly disappointing.

The only noticeable effect I have felt so far was on the evening of day 2. We always have a takeaway from a friend's fish and chip shop on a Friday and I usually have a Greek salad with chicken, halloumi and some chips. I ate my normal portion size that evening and literally felt I was going to explode about an hour later, I felt so ridiculously full. Last night's dinner was ok though and haven't had a repeat of that 'full to bursting' feeling since.

I've got to say I'm a little despondent, I was hoping to have experienced the equivalent of having my jaws wired up by now 😂

Hope everyone else is doing ok and that there are no unpleasant side effects so far.

I'm day 5 now, i did wake up feeling hungry this morning, but didn't really fancy eating which was weird.
I've struggled to get above 1000 calories every day.
Saturday, which was day 3, I had the most awful headache. Couldn't think or do anything all day, but by Saturday evening after 3 litres of water, electrolytes and alternate paracetamol and ibuprofen it had gone.

I'm off the rails a tad 🫣 it's like I'm self sabotaging.

Hi All . I’m not great at remembering names and replying individually but I am totally invested.

Day 5 for me and yes , the evening munchies are calling me which is disappointing. This is the first time I’ve felt hungry since Thursday . I guess it’s the lowest dose and I need more in my system . Saxander worked really well for me but not until I had titrated up a few times.

I'm planning to start on Wednesday. The pen is in the fridge ready to go!

I have been on 2.5mg for two weeks now so joining this thread as my start was very end of Dec.
I feel no different at all so far. Of course the drug is not actually expected to work at the titration doses but I wish I had the early suppression that some others seem to have.

I finally got approved today so hopefully I'll be joining you all soon

Hi everyone, I took my first dose today! Haven’t noticed any change yet, so we’ll see tomorrow.

Day 3 today. No noticeable side effects. I'm trying to be conscious of what I eat because of I'm going to pay all this money then I feel I have to 😂im possibly half way through my journey - am at BMI 30 when I started at BMI 35+. My mum is starting to ask why I'm on injections when I'm "slim now." I assure you, I'm not slim 😂

Hey, was also finding the other January thread a little too much to follow! Took first jab Saturday afternoon and am a little sad that I still very much have an appetite! Slight headache is all I’m feeling. My biggest hurdle will be being back at work as they feed us well…a big buffet every day. I was hoping to be able to avoid it with ease 😫I made myself drink lots of water yesterday but have still felt hungry BUT managed to stay off the roast potatoes and roast chicken that was on offer and stick to the soup! For dinner ended up roasting two red peppers, two red onions and half a punnett of baby plum tomatoes with some cous cous!! Never been good with "diets" or calorie counting before so I think I might need to do some homework! Good luck to all
