Hi everyone, been AWOL for a few weeks but finally caught up. There are so many amazing successes that I can't tag you all, just huge well done to all of us!
Like many of you, the novelty has definitely worn off. I'm down 4 stone since starting in March and I'm now on 10mg a week (seem okay on it this time after the first few attempts made me feel awful). Food noise seems to be back, but the fullness and lack of hunger remain so I keep wanting food and then not being able to eat much! Also able to drink alcohol again, the wine aversion has certainly passed. I only have a few drinks at weekends though.
All my great promises to myself of joining the gym and making fancy healthy food have (yet again) failed to materialise. I had this grand idea that our big move (300 miles, 6 weeks ago) would somehow jumpstart a whole new me. Turns out, I'm still the old me in a different place... Life hasn't actually changed at all, just the background.
I am doing a class with my daughter that's like aerial yoga mixed with circus skills. It's hard work and very fun, but one session a week isn't going to transform me. However, it's expensive so I'm putting off joining gym or another class until the course finishes. At £12 a week each and it's 25 minutes away, it probably won't be something we continue with unfortunately. I'm now a lot closer (15 mins rather than 30) to a gym or pool, which I thought would make all the difference but really it's the leaving the house that I have a problem with! Still got teens at home that need feeding and lifts and things, or I'd just go after work.
As for MJ, I last ordered a pen in July and I've still got 2 unopened which I had hoped would see me through the last few stone as I can't order high doses after such a long time and can't really justify the cost at the moment anyway. I don't think it will though, just worked out that's 11 weeks of 10mg so I might have to go back down to 7.5 and start being more strict with the calories and meal planning (currently just eating whatever I cook for the kids).
Sorry for the really long post!
