Week 1 - day 5

Breakfast - black cherry kefir
Lunch - tomato soup
Tea - gammon,salad, a few chips and eggs
Snacks 1 x chocolate

Blood sugars are excellent. 5.2 at the end of the day even after a few chips for tea.

D: Duck, red cabbage, potato; sweet dumpling

B: Porridge with banana and date syrup
L: Protein shake

Today
B: Almond butter, apple, muesli
L: Pesto chicken with tomatoes, brown rice
D: Tofu pad thai

I meant to have a lovely chicken and veg stir fry instead of beans of toast but work was awful today so no chance to go out and buy stuff.

Eaten loads today, and not exactly good choices either. No suppression today it feels. Took 4th 2.5mg jab yesterday morning.

B - scrambled egg, avocado and toast

L - 311 calorie fish pie ready meal

D - homemade quorn spag bol

Snacks - kitkat, digestives x2, handful of skittles and bowl of weetabix

B: Alpro unsweetened soya yogurt, low sugar granola, berries, coconut flakes

L: leftover noodle salad with veggies, chicken, few cashews

S: small banana before the gym

D: chicken curry, cauliflower rice, couple of poppadoms

Gave the half of my chocolate cake I bought on Sunday at the posh bakery to DH. I ate half on Sunday, really enjoyed it at the time, but didn't feel the need to eat the rest. Pre MJ there's no way he'd even have got a bite of it 😂

D: coconut and coriander salmon, chilli and garlic roasted broccoli and red peppers

Usual supplements, green tea, 3 litres of water, clean greens, clear whey, cbd drink, 2 x 0% g&ts

That's not a large lunch. Honestly don't worry. If a friend said they ate soup, crackers and 1 square of choc would you think they overate or comfort ate? Nope.

Oh yes it's not that it's a huge amount @Midlifecrisisxamillion, I just mean I was full and knew I was full but ate the cheese and crackers and then peanuts as an emotional reaction. I knew what I was doing even while I was doing it. The soup and a bit of chocolate was plenty for me today. I'd like not to do that at all really, but I guess it's not the end of the world when it's just a couple of hundred extra calories, it would probably have been a couple of thousand before MJ.

My worry is that if I don't find a way to avoid that kind of eating, it will be a couple of thousand extra again one day when I come off the medication.

Going for a run later and have a few cals spare so might have a snack this evening if I fancy it.

Today... Horrible day with 11 1/2 return trip to a funeral

D: home made tomato and bean soup that I packed in a flask to take with me!
S: slice of seeded sourdough with butter. Hungry after 6 1/2 hour drive 😁

Usual supplements, clear whey, green tea, 2 litres of water, can of Diet Coke, cbd drink

I weirdly ate loads today. I'm ill (covid), pre menstrual, knackered after a tough week of solo parenting, took the kids to 2 chaotic parties and 8 weeks on the same level (7.5). But when I totted it all up in MFP, I'm still just under 2,000 cals. I don't think I've eaten this much for over 6 months.
Sorry, I know it's not the point of this thread but portions, volume and snacking is completely different to what it was before. I can't think to eat over 2,000 cals. It seems impossible now.
