@DollyPlastic how about a soup with more protein? Something like bacon and lentil or chicken veg?

im on my holidays now but will try and post to keep me honest

b - flat white, salami and tomato panini (haven’t had this in months and it was amazing)
l/d - Tortilla naked burrito - couldn’t finish it but it was lovely

L - Piri piri chicken breast, salad, 2 x Babybel light

D - Chilli con carne, small portion of steamed rice

Snacks - Greek yoghurt with Biotiful gut health powder, half a packet of jalapeño protein pops

Usual water / supplements / electrolytes

1256 calories / 96g protein

Today, week 7 - dose 5mg

B - protein yoghurt with Biotiful gut health powder, satsuma, tea with collagen

L - tuna and cottage cheese sandwich with a small side salad and salad cream

D - rump steak with 2 new potatoes, a corn cobette, green beans, and a big dollop of garlic butter

Snacks - none yet, but may have a cup of decaff tea and a biscuit before bed

Usual water / supplements /electrolytes

1022 calories / 101g protein

Brunch: sausage, bacon, fried egg, black pudding (local garden centre cafe 😁) Green tea with collagen powder

D: cowboy caviar, smoked mackerel

Usual supplements, >3 litres of water, can of Diet Coke, 2 glasses of Real Royal Flush (sparkling tea 🤷‍♀️)

L - 2 chocolate cookies (tiny ones on the train) and some cheese and crackers

D - an activia yoghurt and 3 chocolate digestives

S - 10g of love corn courtesy of BA

Awful awful food choices today but there was just no chance to eat properly. Got to our airbnb at nearly 10pm and didn't want to cook. Never been so grateful for MJ as I am now

D - Small portion of Tuna pasta w/ cucumber sweetcorn and mayo.
S - 2 small slices of cheese, pro milk coffee

Yesterday - week 6, 5mg

L: 3-egg omelette with garlic, chilli, coriander, ginger, lemon / Greek yogurt with kiwi

D: really not hungry, had a couple of spoons of leftover chilli, 3 small crackers with cheddar

I am trying to eat more at lunch time and less at dinner time but it worked a bit too well. It was 48 hrs after injecting though, which is the beginning of peak suppression for me. Haven't eaten today yet and probably won't until lunchtime.

I've found it incredibly hard too when I'm out the house and have to eat- particularly in cafes etc everything is cake pastry or very carb heavy!

Good morning. New to this but not new to 'dieting'! Took my first dose yesterday. Been looking through this thread for ideas. I would be so grateful for information on supplements - been reading about clear whey and never heard of it. Also no idea about electrolytes. I know everyone must be busy so if there is a thread about supplements and protein products that would be great to know about. All very best to everyone and have a great day 😀

@Azuresky68 welcome! I not sure there is a specific thread but supplements etc are discussed in the main threads on numerous occasions.
To me, the objective is to eat as 'clean' as possible with a focus on protein.
I take biotin for my hair and nails, marine collagen for skin, magnesium for sleep, JointAce Max for my knees and Lion's Mane for focus. Was taking all of these prior to MJ but have added psyllium husks in an attempt to keep things moving😬
I do use a clear whey to help boost my protein and asked around the threads to find one that wasn't full of artificial sweeteners. The best I could find was Vilgain which only has stevia in it - the best I could do!

Thank god for MJ as there was a 12 hour gap between flights due to a nightmare of a flight!!

One thing I struggle with is how much to eat - I am getting really good suppression and could go all day without eating, but that would obviously not be a good idea. It's finding that line between listening to what your body seems to want and eating enough to keep going. I don't want to starve myself as I can't imagine it will do my metabolism any good in the long term.

Eg today (see below) mg tracker reckons I have had about 1100 calories yet I feel like a bit uncomfortable and over full. Should I be eating as much as I feel like eating (ie much less) or should I be struggling to get to 1000 calories every day?

D - Grilled pork shoulder steak with jerk seasoning, homemade potato wedges, mini corn on the cob

Snacks - Tomato cup-a-soup, 1 x Babybel light

Usual water / supplements / electrolyte drink

1301 calories / 125.5g protein

D: king prawns, tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms in garlic and chilli, spoonful of rice, chips (proper homemade chips from sliced potatoes!!) 2 x glasses of rose

Usual supplements, about 2 litres of water
