Thought id start a thread for anyone starting in July given we are almost there. I've just ordered tonight with Voy, hoping I get approved and will be able to start next week.

I'm a little apprehensive as some of my eating habits are emotionally driven not hunger! So I'm going to need to find some will power too. That's why I've gone with a company that provides support as well as just medication.

Anyone fancy joining along?

My starting weight is 18st 1lb and I'm 5ft 5 so I've ALOT to loose.

Zava delivery comes in a large brown box with Keep refrigerated on it. It's large as contains an ice bag, the sharps bin and then you will have a tiny bag of needles and then a small 20ish cm box with your pen in

Week 1 12st 13 (-5lbs)
Week 2 12st 9 (-4lb)

Total loss in 2 weeks= 9lb

Really happy with this loss and noticing a difference in my clothes feeling baggier too

Your two week weight loss is fab! 9lbs! So motivating.

I've just had a 5lb first week loss, so I'm chuffed with that.

Hoping for 2/3lb for my second week.

It seems such a miracle drug, I just don't need to snack or think about food constantly!

I had my first injection this morning and it already seems to be having an effect…is it this quick or just placebo?

I had a small breakfast and lunch and just not been hungry…no snacks despite me wfh and there being stuff in the house. Busy evening and won’t be in until 9ish so will make sure I have something then.

Doing really well still — it really does seem to be a miracle drug! Not hungry at all today, end of day 3. It’s easy to make good choices when you can’t be bothered with food.

Looking forward to first weigh in but I realise I need to get into a mindset of “this is just how my life is” rather than “am I skinny yet?”

I'm in a grump as have lost absolutely nothing in my first week. Well, first 6 days, I injected my first dose last Friday. Have had great appetite suppression and eaten 1,000-1,200 calories/day consistently, no snacking, no sugar. Hmph.

Hi, I’d like to encourage those who are unsure to take the plunge. I did my 3rd injection on Tuesday. I have had no side effects at all on 2.5 but the ‘food noise’ has gone along with any feelings of hunger. I have lost 7lbs so far, although I know some of this is fluid, my face definitely looks thinner.

Does anyone know if there is any reason why I can’t stay on the lower dose of 2.5 for longer if it is working? It may just be a placebo effect. I have another 2.5 pen in the fridge as MedExpress ss accidentally sent me two complete starter kits and then told me to keep the second when I rang them.

Just weighed in at 23 stone 11 at 5ft10. Mounjaro is arriving today and I've lost 9lb naturally jn a month but it's slow going. I can't wait to be at 20 stone. That's the first goal - somewhere I haven't been in the last five years!

I woken up with diarrhoea again today (sorry tmi). I injected my second dose on Monday afternoon, started with diarrhoea Tuesday evening, took immodium yesterday morning so I was fine through the day, but it's back with avengeance. Need to have a read of the established threads and see if there is any tips for preventing it!

Sorry to hear that @Lumirubin, I’m only on week 1 and no side effects (or effects really!) yet but hopefully you will feel better soon as the days pass since you injected, and hopefully your body will adjust soon.

Thanks @User364837 . Hoping it'll pass quickly. Week one I was constipated if anything, so wasn't expecting this! The weight is literally falling off me though with this dodgey tummy. Was 17st 8 when I injected my 2nd dose monday. 17st 5 yesterday and now I'm 17st 2 this morning. I've been drinking a ton, so hoping it's not dehydration. But in going to get some dioralyte today just incase!

I hope it passes quickly for you @Lumirubin but take those losses in the meantime!

This has got me in a quandary now, I'm wondering whether to bring forward my second injection or push it back by a day or two. I did my first on Saturday evening, but I've got a night out this Saturday, a day of kid's parties on Sunday, medical appointments on Monday and a funeral on Tuesday. Don't really know what to do for the best, in terms of timings for possible side effects! I'm working from home today and tomorrow so I suppose I could inject today?

@MounjaroMunchie this graph might help you decide. It's from the link in the main mounjaro thread. Shows you how much is left in your system after each does, shows how the second dose takes your peak level higher and so on so on. Thats helped me understand why my side effects are worse from the second jab. You input your details so you could run the graph using the different options you are considering to see how high your level will peak.

I’ve lost at least 8 lbs in 8 days. Very pleased. Having to force myself to eat.

I had 2 glasses of wine last night and have a shocking hangover. Wouldn’t normally be even slightly hungover.

My first week, not really feeling any effects yet but I didn't expect to on 2.5mg but last night I was awake ALL NIGHT. I never have trouble sleeping so I'm hoping this is a one-off, or at least settles very soon if not. I need my sleep.

On the upside though, the scales are showing a 5lb loss since Sunday, I'm doing this in conjunction with WW which I did before but just kept losing and gaining the same stone. Hoping the suppression kicks in soon

Just took my first injection in the inner arm fat. No idea why I chose there but it was fine.

Well, I decided to go for it and took my second dose this afternoon after playing around with the plotter/graph thing. I'm hoping that the peak side effects (if there are any) will have eased off by Saturday evening and if not, at least I should be okay for the funeral on Tuesday. But who knows! We all react to things in different ways.

@MounjaroMunchie absolutely, I don't think any of us are going to react the same. Let us know how you get on. Fingers crossed you are fine for the weekend and the funeral

Quick update - First jab was this morning at 10 AM, no side effects so far luckily. Not too hungry (I'm usually starving around 5PM!) I know it's still early and it takes time for the medication to work but hoping it stays this way.
Also, I've started Caroline Garvain (spelling - sorry) EPIC day 1 competed.. Woohoo

My weight this morning was exactly 100kg. (220. 5lb)

Just done second injection, went to an all you can eat Chinese for lunch with work, tried to restrain myself and not eat too much, don't think I ate as much as usual! KFC in the office tomorrow, I need all the help I can get!
