Query re access and where to get Wygovy. I bought it from an online pharmacy but (after about 3 x purchasing up to 1mg), they suddenly said the side effects warranted my GP's input but I wasn't interesting in that faff.

For what it's worth, the side effects I reported didn't change, just slight nausea and tiredness.

Would I be better not reporting any side effects at all?

I've found an alternative provider but, this time around, lots of faff with pictures and photos of scales. It was fine but if i need to go elsewhere (cheaper), are there any providers which don't ask for photos etc any more and just self reported weight?

I am two doses of Mounjaro in and about to take a third and need to order my next pen. I can't decide whether to stick with 2.5 or move to 5. I have lost weight and had some minor side effects (slow bowel and nausea). Has anyone got any advice on this?

Hi everyone. Really hope your weight loss journey is going well.
To lose weight I need to eat around 1000 calories. I am going on holiday in 2 weeks for 2 weeks. Undecided whether to start before I go? My questions are 1. If the injections make you lose desire to eat what do people do about meal planning? 2. Do people eat less than 1000 calories 3 Are people looking at staying on injections for life as the concern is that you could regain back all the weight if you stop treatment.
My situation - Sorry for long post! I have never considered or really knew about weight loss injections, despite struggling all my life with my weight - 68 years old and only 5 foot tall. I am obese with BMI of 30 so not too much to lose and I got to BMI 25 in lockdown, maintaining for 2 years but gained weight back over last year. I despair of doing this all over again. My doctor suggested injectionsand looked into it for me. I can't get them on NHS and I actually felt guilty for even thinking about buying them. Enough of all that! I have decided to go ahead with injections and so grateful to have found information and support on Mumsnet.
