Mounjaro - Starting soon!

I have decided to start with Mourjano. Have put an order in with Asda and should hopefully be delivered soon!

Anyone else going to give Mourjano a go?

I have ordered from Bolt and it was fine - fast delivery, needles and sharps bin provided, offer of a phone call if I wanted. I think Med express might be cheaper but I haven’t tried them yet.

I bought from bolt too. I ordered last Friday and they said it would be delivered Tuesday however after placing the order within an hour they emailed me for a photo, then an hour later it was shipped and it arrived the next day via Royal Mail (Saturday). Was very impressed. Like pp it came with the needles, swabs and a sharps box.

For some reason I thought the end of page 39 was the end of the thread limit! Now see it's end of page 40!

Hello all, I've just taken my first 2.5mg Mounjaro. I'm moving straight over from 2.4mg Wegovy.

It though the plunger on the pen seems really cheap and also really stiff to use.

I've lost 3 stone in the last year taking Ozempic/Wegovy, I have another 1 to lose to be top end of healthy weight and another 1 to be gawjus.

Oh and as long as I don't feel sick in the next day or so, I'll double my dose and head onto my 5mg pen asap.

Week 2, day 4: first time I am full after eating half of my breakfast. (Is this the start?!)

@OoohLovelySlippers I also feel like the needle is a bit weird. The Wegovy needle seemed more secure. The murnjaro one seems like it could bend easily!

Week 3 day 1. 1kg off! 73.7kg now. Yay!

Yesterday I had to do something I was a bit nervous about, and after I'd done it I thought I would 'reward' myself with a nice cake. Bearing in mind I might have previously bought a pack of four cakes it seemed ok to do that.
However, I went into three different shops and couldn't find anything I fancied enough, so I didn't bother. This is unheard of for me so I'm taking that as a positive.

I did my 3rd injection yesterday and lost 9lbs in two weeks which is amazing! I need help with the weight for physical and mental health.

BUT, I am so tired/fatigued/exhusted!!!

can anyone help??? Will it stop? Can I do anything to help? I’m at a loss as Mounjaro is not suppose to cause tiredness!

Hey!! I just started mounjaro on Tuesday. I was wondering if anyone else felt extremely cold?? My feet feel like ice cubes x

@lia88xxx yes! For a day or two after taking the jab I am freezing! I now use a electric bed warming mat to keep warm at night in those first few days! Otherwise I just can't get warm!

Stop beating yourself up This was one of the reasons why we put on weight in the first place. Be gentle and kind to yourself. The weight is comming off albeit slowly. We all know we didn't add all this weight in a day so we have to be a bit patient about loosing it. And based on every single view here so far IT IS COMMING OFF. Let's just focus on the good news and the fact that we have this miracle crutch. Yes it is a crutch until we learn to run ( or eat healthy) and keep it sustainable. Love your self and your emerging new self .Smile ✨️

Week 4, day 1. No change in weight. Should be getting my next pen and higher dose this week

Do you feel like the 2.5mg has done much for you @wizzywig? It isn’t enough for everyone, although there’s nothing wrong with staying the same. Some weeks nothing happens and you have no idea why.
