What a lovely thread!

Not my wedding rings, I usually wear them on my right hand. The cluster on the top was my mums and the bottom one was a present from my mum and dad on my 20th birthday, they fit each other perfectly!

First picture shows my wedding band in the middle with my eternity ring (from grandmother not hubby) and the ring the stone for my second engagement came from.

The second picture is my grandmothers engagement ring.

I wear my wedding band and my grandmothers engagement ring on a daily basis (apart from now as my fingers are too swollen in the heat😡)

rain it’s 2ct. Which is why I don’t want an eternity ring. My hands are tiny (ring size 4.5) and it would be way too much.

The engagement ring fits up to it perfectly and has the same diamonds around it. I just can't get it on at the moment post pregnancy!!

This is mine.... and DH's is identical, but a couple of sizes bigger. It was important to us to have the same ring. I wear my engagement and other classy rings on different fingers so the really important one is always visible.

The inside is engraved with our names and the date of our wedding.

Wedding band made to fit around the large diamond in my engagement ring, it has a channel cut around it, which DH's ring is the inverse of.... so the rings mesh together. Love them!

If you have a platinum engagement ring but have a sentimental yellow gold ring you can always take it into a jewellers and ask them to rhodium plate it. Its the same process white gold goes through, and it will match your platinum much nicer, I think in general wedding bands and engagement ring are personal choice. Wear them however you please x

My wedding ring is an eternity ring which seems to be quite common these days.

I don't know whether to add another ring or keep it as two.

Had no idea about distance from heart thing. I wear my wedding ring on top so that it stops the engagement ring from falling off They’re platinum and DH’s wedding band is identical.

They are gorgeous but please consider taking them off for a while until you feel better! I'd hate for them to be cut off or for them to damage your finger!

I searched high and low for my wedding ring after seeing it in a bridal magazine.
And then my MIL didn't speak to me for 9 weeks after she saw my engagement ring, as the stones were bigger than those on her rings

My DH lost my rings when I went into hospital. Always something that needs money. One day I will get another. Maybe.

Platinum is harder than white gold foe the oerson saying get a whitegold nand or dip yellow gold to wewr with platinum. The platinum is harder and will wear away a softer metal eventually.
