"I don't think I'll ever see snow again"
This is exactly how I felt, especially after the horrors of summer and the warm November. I was even desperately planning to go somewhere with snow - not that I could afford it.
And then, miracle of miracles.. the SE got snow. Six whole inches of it which stayed. It was like walking through Narnia. I was so happy. This is last month.
So I totally get how you feel: that yearning. I hate when tabloids shriek about Artic blasts and heavy dumps of snow and you read the small print and it's parts of higher ground in Scotland.
It's -2 degrees here right now and icy tomorrow so that's something.
