Lovely weather guru’s - what do you think my chances are of driving from NW Leicestershire to North Wales tomorrow (via Birmingham) and back to the E Midlands on Thursday morning? It’s snowing here at the moment but not really sticking which is making me wonder if it might actually be OK despite deciding yesterday that I would need to abandon plans. I hate the indecision of it!!

Absolutely dreading going into work tonight - from West Sussex to south London, and then dreading the next 12 hours at work!

Just read that Londoners are being warned to be home by 6pm.

Kirk Im in york and nothing really to report, some snow flurries but not laid as yet. But it is bloody freezing!

6yo ds will be gutted again. It comes down but is always too wet to settle. He wants to throw a snowball just once. He's never seen proper snow.

We're in Norfolk. Any chance of a snowball? Just one?

wax I wish I could say definitely one way or another for you. If it were me planning it, I'd be planning to go ahead, but warning people I might need to reschedule at short notice. Check your local radio and highways england twitter for any updates. If the warnings turn amber across your driving area, re-review. I take amber warnings seriously.

Ursula, it does seem a bit ott for yellow warnings. But perhaps it's that or walk home?! I'm unsure as to why they are expecting it to be so bad by then.

How will it settle though? It's SO wet out there. Getting wetter by the minute.

It never snows much in Cornwall

Snowing down here in south east London. I have a c-section booked on Thursday and hoping the snow does not affect it. I doubt we will get much snow but down south and London any snow seems to bring everything to a stop, even when we know it's coming!

Snowing in North Herts. Started exactly when the Met Office app said it would❄️
