ok, so gfs is getting onboard with the met office. You guys up in the red zone have a lot more to come tonight and through tomorrow I'm afraid.
Then before storm emma arrives, tomorrow we have a band of snow, heavy I think at times pushing into the south, first through central southern areas then the SW too. I think it makes it roughly as far east as West Sussex, but that's very approximate and as you've seen snow showers can pop up anywhere.
Heavy snow through Dartmoor, Exmoor, Bristol etc before affecting Wales and much of Ireland and NI. Gusts will reach gale force at times, so blizzard conditions will occur. I don't know if red warnings will be issued for the moors - keep an eye.
Areas probably from Hampshire westwards could see snow all day tomorrow perhaps.
Extra Warning: on thursday night a band of freezing rain is again showing for parts of the south and south west. This is very dangerous. If it does occur, don't travel on Friday unless essential or you have an amazing gritting council.
Friday - snow pushes up through the south again. More about that late tonight or tomorrow.
