Just that really.

If you are spiritual, do you get anything coming through from this photo?
Any thoughts, feelings or vibes?

Interesting... Not Irish by any chance?

I don’t know @oakleaffy. Not sure of his exact heritage although from what I do know, he could be.

Do you know his name?

MysteryBelle · 16/08/2023 03:22

Yes, Raoul Pugh. Died at 23, Royal Marines. Poet. I can’t find his actual poetry though. And I’m not subscribed to the New York Times and don’t intend to, so can’t access an article on him. (I’ve used up my quota of free NYT articles researching various things).

Now I know how to reverse search an image!

oakleaffy · 16/08/2023 03:25

Thanks for showing who he is/was.
I wonder if he was Irish - but I was 'right' in that I thought he didn't have long to live {but assumed TB there}. Will look into him online, if poss.

MysteryBelle · 16/08/2023 03:27

You’re welcome. You did better than me. I didn’t like his picture, thought it was creepy, but maybe I misinterpreted my uneasy feelings. He is a tragic figure but not a bad guy as far as I know.

Magnoliainbloom · 16/08/2023 03:27

Melancholic, sensitive, soulful.

LovePoppy · 16/08/2023 03:30

LoveThisUsername · 16/08/2023 01:05

My first thought/feeling was 'murderer' but that could be down to the number of true crime things I watch.

You and me both

He seemed sad- not bad..but others also didn't like his pic.

Very little about him online, sadly.

LongingForWolverhampton · 16/08/2023 03:32

Pugh is a Welsh name so the Welsh nationality would make sense.

MysteryBelle · 16/08/2023 03:34

Good job on finding that info @oakleaffy

I had no idea Pugh is Welsh. Maybe I should have had. My husband is Welsh.

I did too. ‘Killer’ was what I thought. I too read and watch a lot of mystery/crime type stuff. I guess we’re naturally wary and suspicious!

DTCM · 16/08/2023 03:43

Am I missing something that link leads to Charles emery.? No link to the original pic??!

MysteryBelle · 16/08/2023 03:49

DTCM · 16/08/2023 03:52

Ain't Google wonderful (and/or scary)

PUGH, Leonard Raoul WWII, Commonwealth War Graves ...
27 Mar 1944
Son of John Grindrod Pugh and Martha Pugh of Capel Gwyn, Anglesey, Wales.
Rank Lieutenant; Died in Active Service (Royal Marines )
Grave 168. MEDMENHAM (ST. PETER) CHURCHYARD Buckinghamshire UK

The author of these three long poems was a Lieutenant in the Royal Marines who was accidentally killed in 1944 at the age of twenty-two.

King Sobieski is a dramatic poem, in blank verse and other measures, about the Polish saviour of Vienna and Europe from the Turks.

In Dr Faustus the ancient necromancer reappears in the Europe of 1936 onwards, and once again is doomed beyond redemption by his own spiritual falsity.

The Masque of Norbury Park was the only one completed of a projected series of masques after the manner of Ben Jonson, whom Raoul Pugh held in special veneration.

I get sexual energy from the photo, maybe he was a ladies man, or he was very active with his lover..
If I had to guess , his star sign is capricorn,
he is a deep thinker, but he also has a comical element to his personality, he has a cheeky smile but he rarely smiles
