Neither of them seem well. They make these huge life decisions based on fleeting feelings.

Harry is suddenly nostalgic for his prep school days and wants his son to play rugby. So he moves the whole family the other side of the world for the best part of a decade, to settle his own anxieties and relive his childhood. Madness

Meg for some reason is enabling this.

Also strange how they point out that academia is low down on the list for schools and that a nurturing environment is paramount. Isn’t that what you look for in a nursery? Why wouldn’t academics be considered. Very Odd.

This is an interesting comment:

Charles needed a way to get his son out of the U.S. before he got arrested by ICE for lying on his visa. This would be a major diplomatic incident and embarrassing to the royal family. Charles knew that even if he said he was using his personal funds there would be immense criticism. Therefore the royal-adjacent billionaire was called in to provide cover, even though daddy had to bail him out.
(Commenter: Chris Urkman)

I don’t agree with the reason for the extraction (I think it’s aligned with H needing rehab and a calm separation/divorce), but the use of Wace as a camouflage damage limitation scheme makes sense.

Omg they have won an Omaze house....bastards 😂😂😂

I was thinking IKEA. There is a company in NYC ho will take your IKEA list, buy it, deliver it, and assemble it. Maybe they used the UK equivalent.

catspyjamas1 · 28/08/2026 19:31

Considering Perry helped them when they left the UK, and this now in the UK, I did jokingly ask my BF if there is an Airbnb equivalent for stately homes & mansions / billionaires the rest of us plebs aren't aware of (couldn't entertain/afford). Like Raya for property.

How does it work? Their secretary has a black book and aristocratic connections to know of someone who happens to have a spare "house" available for rent.

There is!

There is a site called Luxury Cotswold rentals where you can rent a whole stately home! Such as this one ...

BillyBites · 28/08/2026 20:22

Are they still mates with Ellen de Generes? Doesn’t she have two homes in that area? Maybe she is letting them use one of them - interesting name.

Is this new billionaire pal married?

Wace is helping finance the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s UK move, two sources exclusively told Page Six. He is said to be worth a whopping $1.2 billion.

Any comment on this? @BunnyBunbunbun seems like Harry needs a financial helping hand after all.

Who is Wace? I can't see that quotation in the article you link. I've known people move to and from the US without any help from anyone - it's absolutely possible! But if Harry has friends with deep pockets who are happy to fund him, then good for him. That means he has no financial problems and does not need Charles to give him anything. Harry's very wealthy friends can also pay whatever he owes ANL - he doesn't need Elton for that.

I'd also point out that this is Page Six and the sources are "sources", so everything needs to be taken with a pinch of salt. But this story - if true - underlines my point that Harry is very financially solvent and capable of funding his and his family's lifestyle.

I was going to mention in my previous post that while Harry has the financial means to cover his family's needs, he isn't huge yacht wealthy, but he has friends who are.

Seems like Harry is financially very ok, not at all broke and doesn't need any money from Charles.

I think he’s divorced -his last wife was Saffron Aldridge, the model.
He’s obviously a clever man - surely Mrs Sussex would drive anybody with a modicum of intelligence absolutely mad with her waffle, word salad speak and self obsession.

Not quite like your adamant claims though that Harry himself can pay for everything! Harry isn’t financially solvent at all if he has to beg and borrow from yet another billionaire whatever way you try to spin it. Sorry to burst your bubble.

That People article goes on about her a lot. Why? Why the focus now on Meghan and Wace’s exWife Aldridge having been (allegedly) so close? Apparently Aldridge advised Meghan on fitting in to royal life in Britain and style/fashion. Really??

If Harry was “financially very ok, not at all broke” then surely he would have a modicum of pride and not expect other men to pay his bills?

How terribly gauche and low to expect “Harry’s very wealthy friends can also pay what he owes ANL”.
No shame, no embarrassment.
Urrrgh. No wonder so few people stay friends with them. Simply Scroungers.

Starryfifty · 28/08/2026 21:01

Harry seems quite shameless. I expect his grifter wife to be used to taking but a Prince of the blood ? (I'm quoting Maureen o C)😅

He has no shame admitting it either. On his freedom flight, he paid homage to "the amazing friend who he never met" for helping him out. Transpires to be Taylor Perry.

AMW had "friends with deep pockets.... happy to fund him".

Maybe it’s to try and show Meghan had a friend. 🙄
Wace and Aldridge didn’t attend the Wedding.
They were seen at Cirque de Solei in 2019 with them - then that’s it, till now.
I think they divorced in 2023.

Can someone explain what's in it for Wace? I understand what the grubby billionaires got from AMW.

If this man wants to do something good, donate millions to a worthy charity. Is he anti monarchy? Please explain 🤣

He does actually donate money to charity - considerable sums.
He's bought a Scottish Island and is developing it for paying guests, rumour has it that HaM stayed there in the summer.
Who knows what is motivating him? If he was republican, why would he help a lazy, entitled prince?

LaMarschallin · 28/08/2026 21:13

It's so strange that people think very rich friends will pay lots of money to help their pals out.
It's a different way of thinking I thinking I know, but if a friend of mine couldn't cover their mortgage payment for a month or two, I'd be a bit wary about splashing out cash.
It's much like I said before. People think rich people have unlimited funds, but no they don't.
