My guess is the Horners asked for the correction. KC and Geri share a long standing friendship and she wouldn't risk a fallout and miss out on being invited to future royal events. Maybe she is just a loyal friend. The way that article was written, suggesting Geri was awestruck (while hubby was not) suggests it was sussex pr.

Don’t go. They prove by disappearing almost as fast as they arrive that they can’t cope with the standard of factual replies they receive to their attempts to deflect etc. Just ignore them and if you can’t - base your replies on what they can’t dispute.

I'm surprised the DM got the lunch with the Horners so badly wrong. I'm not saying they didn't get it wrong , they obviously did because they published a correction, but surely they would have at least made sure the tipoff came from someone trustworthy. I don't know and actually it doesn't matter. 😊Unless it's purely an opinion piece they do seem to have some basis for most of their royal stories.

i just don’t understand how people can spread horrible rumours about another persons paternity, or accuse people of adultery. Just when did this vileness become acceptable to so many? How would people feel if this was being said about one of their siblings or parents. Even one of their own children. Some things just shouldn’t be said.

The thing is, there are some uber supermummies around there. Think The Bamfords for organic food and lifestyle and watches, Willow Crossley for flower arrangements and Jade Holland Cooper who might not be at the school gates but you’ll want an invitation to her Christmas party.

Has anyone else noticed the remarkable lack of racial diversity in the images of the pupils at the ToyStream school? You’d think that would be a major factor in choosing A and L’s school so surely it can’t be the one!

Plus how on the ball is the school’s own PR? They’re inviting applications for the 2026 academic year and there’s a typo “beaiutiful” …

I think it's the result of people feeling no one knows who they are online. The worst bits of human nature bob to the surface.

I don't usually bother to challenge but this came out of nowhere and i thought was worth correcting.

They have a very good legal department and strict rules for their journalists - it's why this is quite surprising.

Seemingly they're both G & C close ish with Charles & Camilla, charities, horses & such, I doubt they'd want to ruin their possible chances of a future Dame/Knighthood?

I’ve thought for a while they are planting various different stories and the dopey nodding dog “journalists” print it verbatim, then camp Sussex can threaten to sue or get a retraction, to make in particular the DM look like they are printing lies, it’s revenge, that’s why I’m not believing the Alison Boshoff piece, it’s come from the HAMS but is probably a load of bullshit. We also know they have form for this type of thing, the meeting between Meredith Maines and the KC’s rep leaked by the HAMs who then went on to blame the Palace for the leak, they lie constantly yet the “journalists” believe everything they tell them, bunch of fools.

Interesting that said billionaire, according to EA Knight Frank, purchased Rowler Estate located in Croughton, Northamptonshire and borders the Cotswolds.

As others have said, it is somewhat perplexing that some do not quibble or request retractions about talk of boats, surfer girls, previous knowledge of someone’s family members, affluent septuagenarians and the bumps. Oh the bumps!
