Could someone please explain to me how Harry and Meghan’s return to the UK will work out.
They’re very unpopular with the British public.
Unless Doria moves over to the UK, Meghan has no family support.
Harry has burned so many bridges with his family.
His friends, those that are remaining, will have to choose between supporting Harry or supporting William and apparently they have had quite a aristocratic friends in common.
William will be the King so I presume he will be supported by many of those mutual friends.
Will the first cousins, George, Charlotte, Louis, Archie and Lilibet ever meet up ?
Apart from probably funerals.
Not my monkey not my circus I know, but it is a mess.

Take your own advice and go find something else to do? Instead of scolding folks following an aspect of current affairs that we find interesting

That's very funny that you claim others are obsessed when you enter a thread and start to lecture and disparage others. Now that is the circle of doom.

The buzz words: obsessed, vitriol, hate,get a life etc have been used on these threads for years.

They're usually a mindless way of trying to shut down a discussion. But really - just get over it and accept that some people have things to say about a subject that they see more depth and meaning in than you do. The sort of pps who accuse people of these things often have absolutely little knowledge or understanding of the issues.

One pp had only ever heard of the spat between Catherine and Meghan over the bridesmaids' dresses - they claimed to be unaware of any other controversies - and couldn't understand why HAM are so unpopular n the UK! Well, go and educate yourself, I would say.

You do not know these people. You only know what is being fed to you by magazines newspaper and the news.

Gosh, this line keeps coming up. Whereas in reality Meghan and Harry have told us more about themselves and what they think, than pretty much any public figure I can think of, except reality tv stars. From their own mouths, hours and hours and hours of them talking about themselves, and giving interviews.

Honestly, it really gets on my nerves to keep being told that ‘we don’t know these people’. If we only ever thought, read and talked about people we know, the world would be a very strange place. It’s an incredibly stupid argument to make.

As for how their move to the UK will work out, I’m tempted to say ‘it won’t’. But one thing’s for sure: they won’t behave well.

I feel genuinely sorry for the rest of the RF (no, I don’t know them either) having to deal with this. As well as the personal pain and anxiety they now have H&M leaking like sieves all over the place and the press printing any old crap they’ve just dreamed up. What a nightmare.

A lot of families are moving somewhere where they don’t have family support or don’t keep contact with all of their relatives so nothing new in that. H & M have money - it will help them getting domestic support/ childcare.
As to friends … you don’t need crowds to be happy so if they have several it should be enough.
They will probably travel a lot to Europe so it will keep them busy.

Thats the point though
For people like H especially he will have people who want to be around him because of his money and titles.
There will be people who will sell stories, I actually think that's why he told the tale of having sex round the back of the pub, to avoid anyone else making money out of his story.

HAM aren't people who are going to make friends easily at the school gates.

After all those years, he must have had a pretty good idea no-one else was going to sell the story.

Goodness me, haven't they just. All manner of detail. Hours of TV interviews on Netflix et al, magazines, "Spare", Meghan's frequent updates on Instagram...can there be much left unsaid?

I can’t even imagine how H&M could go to Sandringham for Christmas -they don’t allow the kids to be properly photographed with visible faces, so they can’t walk to church with the others. Once they have done that the press would be able to take pics elsewhere. I don’t mean on the school run etc as that is accepted as private, but on family trips etc.

No chance they'll be anywhere near Sandringham his Christmas. I don't think W&K will want the anywhere near their kids that soon.
The hour max with Charles and Camilla when they are watching their words is probably long enough, Christmas with the booze flowing, no way is anyone taking that risk.

Trust will take a grovelling apology and lots of time.
