Could someone please explain to me - H&M related

Could someone please explain to me how Harry and Meghan’s return to the UK will work out.
They’re very unpopular with the British public.
Unless Doria moves over to the UK, Meghan has no family support.
Harry has burned so many bridges with his family.
His friends, those that are remaining, will have to choose between supporting Harry or supporting William and apparently they have had quite a aristocratic friends in common.
William will be the King so I presume he will be supported by many of those mutual friends.
Will the first cousins, George, Charlotte, Louis, Archie and Lilibet ever meet up ?
Apart from probably funerals.
Not my monkey not my circus I know, but it is a mess.

I’m pretty sure the more I read that there has been a double whammy that has made this snap decision to move back.
1)Loosing court case. Potentially on the hook for £3-7 million. More of he’s promised Dorreen Lawrence to cover her costs.
It’s ok to say ‘oh he’s worth millions’. How much of your own nett worth do you have in liquid assets? If they are worth £70million (unlikely) do you think he’s got £7 million (10%) just on deposit waiting to be spent??
2) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EkG1rxfejtA&pp=ygUpS2V2IG9sc3VsbGl2YW4gbmlhbCBnYXJyZGluZXIgdGhpbmsgdGFuayA%3D
watch this. Nial Gardiener - chair of the think tank American heritage.
Harry lied (IMHO) on his visa application and has comitted a federal offence. 5 (possible) yrs jail and banned from entering the USA EVER again.

They are fucked.
The family saw what they have done over the last 6years. Who in that tight knit group will break ranks to see them when they know they cannot be trusted?
Equally former ‘mutual ‘ friends ( the van cutsems, Straubenzee, Guy Pelly, ) will all simply ignore him and stay loyal to William. Friends of Harry’s whom he dropped when he married -well only sad individuals would bother with people who treat them dreadfully. Celebrities - they are notoriously private and can’t bear people breaking ranks. Hollywood didn’t like Harry dropping Courtney cox in the shit in ‘Spare’. The Cotswold set - well the Beckhams won’t be phoning them, Meghan will have nothing in common with the aristocracy/wealthy set who all went to the right schools and know eat h other, like shoots and hunting.
The King? I’m sure he would like to see Harry & his grandchildren - but he is a very very busy man and never ever underestimate Camilla who will understandably want as little as possible to do with Harry.
They expect us to believe that they are coming back to this cold wet salty island, full of racists and people who hate them where they are so unsafe because of a part in a tv series and because ‘school’ - was Archie not already at a decent school??

It’s typical Sussex. Panic, snap decision, bad PR, look stupid, winge, repeat .
Neither of them have anything to offer the UK.
They might as well hve come over on a dingy from France as they will contribute nothing and cost us a fucking fortune.

No, you are upsetting yourself. Figure out why and your life will be happier.

Also, try to understand the idea that rag merchants are in the business of selling rags. This may help you gain a sense of perspective on the whole business.

Has it ever occurred to you that there are people in conference rooms rubbing their greasy hands together at the narrative they are pushing and estimating how long they can keep flogging this particular horse before even the British public grows weary of it?

Well duh…that was the point I was making in my post.

The fact that mercenary and unscrupulous journos will now spew endless controversy- provoking rubbish which it will be impossible to escape unless you take monastic vows.

Even the BBC is covered in HAMs speculation.

Need what? How is this going to affect them negatively? Surely William and Kate will just carry on as normal.

You don’t need to have much imagination to suspect that Catherine in particular will be getting flashbacks - or “triggers”, as counsellors might say.

If I were her, having suffered what those two have put her through in the past, I’d definitely be feeling apprehensive.

Always worth remembering the little boy - 12 years old - who walked behind his mother’s coffin in any discussion about Harry. He deserves a break, as does his wife. They’re coming here to work. So…leave them alone?

No - he’s 41. Many people lose their parents at a young age. It was awful for BOTH boys (for some reason people forget that W is Diana’s son too and he has never whinged).

We and he ought to acknowledge he’s a middle aged man now.

If you can guarantee they will live private lives, I'll cheer up.

But I think it's more likely that you or I could fly to the moon on a broomstick.

I see endless, endless rubbish about them - it's all over everywhere already. I went to the supermarket earlier and every paper and mag was covered in them.

The press will hound them, the paps will snap them and nasty columnists will make money out of pitting HAMs against WACs, whether either couple like it or not.

I never thought they'd DARE to show their faces here again. Yuk.

I feel the same as you.

It is because we have a Head of State, who does his constituional duty, and does it well. His family support him by doing dull things which count as philanthropic and get minimal media attention. I can live with that.

Now we have two grifters with no sense of service who have been undermining the dull HoS mechanism for six years. Back in the country. Looking for attention and public funds, and giving the tabloids they hate loads of ammo to lob insult at W& C.

I have no idea what they have put Kate through. What did I miss?

Unfortunately it’s absolutely everywhere.

I expect there will be some degree of reconciliation with the king. Charles has limited life expectancy and Harry is his son after all - plus he will want to see his grandchildren.

Other than that H&M may find themselves left out of the wider family. William will keep his private counsel and avoid them. However, I hope he will be magnanimous enough to allow some contact between his children and Harry’s. Hopefully they’ll also have some contact with the Tindall children. It would be very sad if Harry’s children were to have little or no opportunities to mix with their cousins.

If I were W&C or Z& M I would not have my children anywhere near M. In order to protect them from accusations of e.g. racism. If they don't ever mix with the Montecito family they can't be accused of having said anything questionable, or having anything they said misrepresented.

These young people need to be protected.

I’ve read the silly thing over a bridesmaid dress, utterly trivial and didn’t Kate apologise anyway? There’s not anything noteworthy other than that.

That’s true @Rhaidimiddim
I hadn’t thought of that. 😮

Not saying he wasn’t deeply affected by this, because he’s obviously suffered from a severe form of arrested development, but this was 30 years ago, next year.

Always remembering that there were TWO young boys, 12 and 15, walking behind their mother's coffin. Why do so many people act as if William was a full grown adult then, but treat Harry as if he's still a teenager now?

BTW do we know they are both here to work? I've seen nothing about Harry's plans to get a job @Onlyfornow

BillyBites · Today 21:40

So the Sussexes can shit all over Harry’s relatives but use W&C’s and Z&M’s kids to play at happy families for their own kids?
Stuff that!
