Beatrice and Eugenie banned from Ascot

Beatrice and Eugenie have been banned from the royal box at Ascot and from royal events in the foreseeable future. That's according to a headline in the Daily Mail. A little part of me feels a bit sorry for them as they're not their parents. I don't like them much but they do seem to symbolise all that's wrong with the royals. Money and immense wealth and priviledge for very little return.

Its a shame we are not hearing about all the other "Big Names" who have "schmoozed" with Epstein. AMW is a sleaze ball, there is no denying that, but why is he, and now his daughters the only ones who seem to be bearing the brunt of this? Is it because they are easy targets?

I don’t know why and I quite agree that all such people that you refer to should be exposed and face the consequences.

From what I’ve heard the Apple hasn’t fallen far from the tree. The working royals will be distancing themselves as far a possible from them.

Well thr PR machine is certainly working when the minions are baying for blood.

Why can’t the public see that the royal family care only about keeping themselves at the top. What goes on publicly versus what goes on behind closed doors is very different.

I suspect it's another attempt at a pre-emptive strike because there's more to come out on the pair.

That said, I'd rather see them lose the keys to their undeserved royal pads than being banished from the royal box at a strut-a-long.

They are not working royals so should never have been there in the first place.
Time to take the royal grace and favour appts they have in London off them too.
Only working royals should get to enjoy these perks.

The "Royal Family" should be dismantled and cancelled.

Most racecourses have tried lowering the dress code and look at the state some of the public turn up in, bloody strippers on tour. Not everything does well being modernised.

Lets face it B+E have been awoken from their privileged bubble where they have been cocooned their entire lives. Their lives will never be the same again from that perspective, because public opinion has swung from Royalty in general.

The halcyon days are over, they'd better get used to having to stick their hand in their own wallet when they would have otherwise been waved through gratis to all sorts of events, they aren't used to that, so it won't come easy to them.

they won't be destitute because both have married into wealthy families, but the loss of status will be felt significantly. A massive wake up call.

I read something recently, unfortunately can’t remember where, that KC had offered to have someone look at their investment portfolios and identify any dubious investments.
they apparently refused this offer because they were confident their investments were fine.

Why exactly are they banned from ascot? Assuming royal enclosure/box.,

They went with Fergie (as adults) to visit Epstein after he had been released from jail for a sentence imposed for soliciting a minor....

They obviously aren’t ’banned from Ascot’. It’s Daily Fail hyperbole. They may not have an invitation to the Royal Box, but they aren’t banned.

And their own grifting. Charging people for 'Tea with Princess B or E'.

More like they don't want queries about where the money came from.

RAscot for me and a lot of other people is a fun outdoor social occasion that’s very entertaining with a proper opportunity to dress up.

With the influx of leisure wear I think it’s lovely to actually have a dress code still where people make a massive effort and all look fabulous. There are enclosures you can go to where you don’t have to wear top hat and tails so everyone that chooses to be there and pays for the privilege.

If the Daily Mail is telling the truth, I imagine it’s because the palace has found out about some questionable choices the girls made themselves as adults……….

Part of me thinks fair enough, they are not working Royals and don’t deserve the perks. But then I don’t really think the rest of the royals do either.

Truthfully, there is also a small part of me contemplating buying popcorn for Eugenie’s inevitable reemergence alongside Harry as the Royals across the pond. Which could be entertaining, if only for the Daily Mail coverage. I suspect Meghan might just spoil the fun though.

I’d like there to be more scrutiny into their dealings in the Middle East and where their money is coming from. I couldn’t care less about Ascot.

They just haven’t been invited to join the Royal procession and have dinner at Windsor Castle and stay the night before or to the Royal box on the day.

They will have lots of mates that have boxes they can attend if they wish to as Royal enclosure guests!

Cmon now they aren’t going to do that. Front up ar someone else’s box and wave at thr royals. It’s not “just” , they’ve been excluded from any of the royal activities surrounding royal ascot. They aren’t janie and cath from down the road.

Royal PR. They know that something is going to drop in the coming months about the sisters’ financial dealings. Cunning.

I thought they paid market rent for these properties?
