Thank you @AnnunciataM

It all gets more shocking by the day.

simpsonthecat · 08/02/2026 10:24

Thanks @AnnunciataM 😊😊

This from CBC in the States
"This question of Andrew testifying won't go away," Craig Prescott, a constitutional expert and lecturer in law at Royal Holloway, University of London, said in an interview.
"As to whether he actually does or not … I think it's very unlikely because if he says, 'Oh, I saw all this' and what have you, it'd be like: 'Well, why didn't you come out earlier?'
"And if he says he didn't see anything, no one would really believe him."
It's a situation, Prescott said, "where there's no good outcome for Andrew, and by extension no real good outcome for the Royal Family."
Whether Starmer said with or without King Charles's approval that Andrew should testify before the U.S. Congress is an interesting question, Prescott said.
He says it shows how far Andrew has fallen: "There's no element of protecting ... Andrew anymore."

Thanks again AnnunciataM 🌷

Thank you @AnnunciataM

Doesn’t it just @StartupRepair

Ukisgaslit · 08/02/2026 10:51

@simpsonthecat

Why would Starmer need Charles’s permission ?

Is this a democracy or not?
Its not if a pm needs to ‘ask permission’.

The Windsors do as they please - democracy and accountability is for little people

Good point. I thought the royals were apolitical.

AreYouSureAskedNaomi · 08/02/2026 10:58

Thanks for the new thread, @AnnunciataM
I wonder what other revelations will surface

CathyorClaire · 08/02/2026 11:02

Thanks for new thread AnnunciataM.

I've just been catching up on the last thread. So much absolutely shocking stuff coming to light now and worth bearing in mind we're only hearing it from a document dump from the US while our royals with all their spokespeople still have nothing to say

Were the protection officers wearing blinkers when they stayed in Epstein's house?
Did they report back?
Were they told not to report back?

A poster on the other thread mentioned Maxwell and Cressida Dick being at the same school. Google indicates they would been at Balliol, Oxford at the same time which is a very interesting coincidence.

AnnaQuayInTheUk · 08/02/2026 11:11

The RF have no shame. Charles needs to stop protecting AMW.

Ukisgaslit · 08/02/2026 11:20

This off topic so I’m sorry but I wanted to mention TerraMar - especially to you @CathyorClaire as you always ask searching questions re these high profile charities as PR set ups

This was set up by Ghislaine Maxwell - something to with the ‘high seas’ ie no country responsible for them . It was closed down in 2019
Hundreds of thousands churned through the charity. Little to nothing to show for it .

Charity can be ‘reputation laundering’ for some billionaires ( I include the Windsors here) and literal money laundering I suspect too ( wouldn’t there be a tax benefit?)

I’m just wondering about all these links between Epstein and the Windsors and Andrew’s ‘envoy’ networks.

Who is learning from whom ?

sesquipedalian · 08/02/2026 11:22

If AMW were my child, I would be advising him to stay put here. He’s not a criminal, although he’s proved himself an utter idiot lacking in any sort of self-awareness. I don’t think the US courts can force him to testify, and even were they to do so, he could say nothing.

Just as a matter of interest, how many posters in this forum would want all their e-mails going back twenty years or more making public? I know I wouldn’t, even if it’s just indiscretions or moans about friends or family members.

AnnunciataM · 08/02/2026 11:29

Well I don't think any of us would but I suspect no one on this thread is complicit in the trafficking of underage girls!

Why emails are you particularly referring to?

What has been released is with the aim of uncovering a ring of sexual abuse and/or paedophilia. And more
Bit different to an email having a whinge about the Christmas present your Nan gave you 😂

TheAutumnCrow · 08/02/2026 11:42

I haven’t been noncing and poncing for 20 years, so I think my emails are pretty safe.

Ukisgaslit · 08/02/2026 11:51

@sesquipedalian

You are welcome to my John Lewis receipts and Duolingo reminders . I have nothing to hide. Strange that you assume people do.

It’s easy to dismiss your post as royalist nonsense but it’s offensive in reality .
Andrew is ‘not a criminal’ because the Windsors have stopped any investigation. Even using security to prevent papers being served then rushing him off to balmoral . The police can’t operate re the Windsors without permission.

ThePoshUns · 08/02/2026 11:59

Yes I’d have no issues with a one having bread of my emails , they would bore people to death.

"Continuing to end the monarch"

Let's hope he succeeds.

Epstein email claims Charles was behind the decision to remove Andrew as trade envoy

https://www.reddit.com/r/RoyalsGossip/comments/1qyenzd/jeffrey_epstein_claimed_that_prince_charles_was/

The Queen's second son's appointment, supplanting his worthy but dull relative, the Duke of Kent, was reportedly made against the advice of his older brother Prince Charles, but with the support of his mother and the endorsement of the former trade secretary Peter Mandelson.

From that linked Guardian article, 2011.

AreYouSureAskedNaomi · 08/02/2026 13:48

Charles. Charles. Seize the chance to do the right thing and come out of this sleazy affair smelling of roses.

Likewise.
After Snowden we knew governments could listen in to our phone conversations and spy through the camera. Not a stretch other corporations can.
When I innocently thought all the holiday adverts were a coincidence after having talked about booking one on phone!

Like many people, I think the whole Epstein scandal will take years to unravel and join all the dots.

Also veering OT, I'd never heard of TerraMar until today, but it does make me wonder if there's any truth in some reports that the Sussexes' charity, Archwell (sp?) exists as a means of churning. Also, last year questions were raised about Harry's Sentebale charity. Whichever way you look at it, there does seem to be a whiff of something underhand and self-serving going on.

One of the hardest aspects to take on board in all this is TLQ might have known far more than we would like to believe about the darker side of the so-called establishment. I honestly don't know what to think these days.

feellikeanalien · 08/02/2026 14:21

And yet again Mandelson's name comes up.

I am not a royalist and up until now I have always had a rather the devil you know kind of approach to the monarchy.

I now feel that unless the RF becomes totally transparent in relation to finances and restricts all titles and privileges to the monarch and direct heir then it must end.

If I as an "oldie" feel that then I think the RF may be in serious trouble. This has now gone beyond the awful sexual abuse carried out by Epstein and his associates to include national security and corrupt business dealings by royals and others in positions of influence.

I have never doubted that there is a lot of corruption and immorality amongst the so called "elites" but somehow seeing it all in so much volume is really sickening and makes me despair that there are many decent people in positions of power. The saying that power corrupts but absolute power corrupts absolutely has never been more appropriate.
