She's a beautiful woman but i can't understand why she just doesn't drop the titles and be herself. And it's odd how she talks about how much 'H' loves her but not how much she loves him.

I assume her not dropping the title is a bit of a FU to the royal family. I'm sure they hate her using it.

You have no idea what she doesn’t talk about, you only know what the interviewer has chosen to include.

Oh come on she’s just insufferable, she consistently comes across as absolutely dreadful. False, pretentious, thin skinned. It’s not just this interview - she is who she is. I wish them both well, they’ve overcome some tough challenges but they’re a pair of talentless grifters in my opinion.

Pretty sure William will remove their titles in due course .,

How can you be yourself without being authentic?

She's been authentically trying to be herself since the Oprah interview. If she's not managed to unsubsume from other people's narratives after the Oprah interview, NF 6 part documentary, 2 podcast series, several podcast guest spots, interviews in People, The Cut, Variety, Bloomberg, several speeches, 2 series of her NF show, Harry's book - maybe there just isn't another narrative to be had?

That article is worse than The Cut, and the photos are not great. Her makeup is usually lovely, as is her hair. The make up, lighting, styling are awful.

In this case authenticity = not wearing as much eye makeup as usual. And saying you love someone because of how much they love you feels a little bit… narcissistic (I know it’s an overused word and I don't necessarily mean it in the clinical sense, but come on).

There are some real jibes at her mother here, no? A 'free spirit', someone who was too busy to make proper meals. And how she has read books and become a parenting expert and parents differently from her mother.
Also the statement 'no one loves me like him' must also be hurtful to her mum? DH loves me as so my children but my parents have shown me an unconditional love that simply doesn't compare (not that love is something to be rated and ranked).

I think I agree that this interview is as delicately snide as The Cut one. I mean she's clearly mocking her for her grandiosity, and her desire to be seen in the right places and all that she sees as 'fun' and 'brave'. It's clearly a decision to portray Meghan in a particular light, and underneath the faint praise it is quite damning.

She is overall pretty but the cover is not good. They could had chosen a better pic even the ones inside the magazine. I wonder why they did that

She's adopted the role of another Disney princess now.

Yes, I would agree. I've seen her looking much better, these are not flattering images. Maybe going for the "arty" look?

My first thought was, she is trying to jump on the Pamela Anderson so beautiful, confident and empowered in my own skin that I dont need make up bandwagon.

It's a typo. It was meant to be 'He loves me so baldly.'

Suspect she’s probably right on Harry, the man always appears besotted and now unable to act without Megan’s say so. Seldom seen the like.

i also think she uses her titles as it’s all she’s really got. I mean why bother marrying Harry when you don’t use the one thing about him that’s important to you. I also think one wrong step when William is king and he will remove them. He’s likely itching to. Although I did laugh when I read she was announced into the room and there were only two folks there. 😂

i actually don’t think she is authentically herself, I dint think she knows who she is any more, just who she wants to be, or who she wants people to think she is, it’s all so try hard and pompous. Like the whole Megan is dipping her toe back into acting, Megan is returning to rhe fashion shows, she tries to build every little thing into something huge, and it just goes wrong for her, because it is just silly.

i do feel for them in a way, it’s clear they can’t make the USA work, they haven’t and won’t, and all these little pr pieces won’t change that outcome for them. And they can’t be working royals either, they burned that bridge.

They could just live quietly, raise their kids do good works, not to a fanfare but privately, but I think the humiliation of leaving, their grand statements about fleeing for their lives, the freedom flight, how they were going to earn their own money and collab with the queen,I suspect also fhe promises Megan made to Harry about how successful they would be, how great their lives would be, means she is going to keep trying, as accepting they failed and can’t make it work will be too much for her to admit.

but they can’t make it work, and when you want something that bad, and fail so publicly, there are many like Megan who will style it out, pretend it’s not true, even to themselves and just keep spiralling further down.
