I could not make it through the article. It's generic Hollywood, but without any Hollywood. Namedropping people who are famous for a reason, while having no reason for being famous.
As a commoner Brit, I have always had this image in my head that the Royals have a hankering to go out and be normal for a day. Go for a beer, take a subway. Not too often mind :-)
That is pretty much what they said when they left the firm. And on that premise, many were happy for Harry. He was escaping it all, go forth and be normal.
But with this article, and her actions that I have seen in the media, it's as if being treated as normal is the very last thing she wants.
For example, there she is, down at the tar pits, her childhood stomping ground, and no offer of a walkabout to the interviewer. Nope, it's off to the Beverly Hills Hotel. That chance to behave and be seen normally gone, and in a strikingly perfect location.
It makes me feel a wee bit for Harry in a way. He wanted the escape, thought he had it, and she is not allowing it. It's like they embarked on a journey together, and she changed the destination on her ticket, and he has to ride along.
And what she is hankering after, possibly demanding even, the Title and position, she gave up. But she can't change her ticket back to the Royal departure lounge from where she and Harry set off.
