Part 4 of a nice, unproblematic thread to discuss some of the fab outfits from the Duchess of Sussex, and some of the many great causes she (and Harry) and Archewell supports.

Another peice of news, apparently this very viral photo, taken by photographer Samir Hussein, will feature in an exhibit in May

"That epic photograph will be part of a London exhibition, “Princess Diana: Accredited Access,” at the Dockside Vaults beginning May 25."

Those are both lovely photos. The blue of the dress in the rain photo is a wonderful colour that I'd like to see more of.

That photo is art. Do you know anything about the photographer?

@tallersally . The last thread filled up before I could respond to your comment about how M and H plan to protect their DC from online abuse etc .
Perhaps a good start would have been not to give them Prince/ Princess titles ? No chance of anonymity.

Love the style of dress also and the lipstick.

I wonder. I’m always shocked at how Emma Watson was bullied. Kids seem very different these days than when I was young.

I agree that she suits that blue dress . She should wear bright colours more often .

Can we talk about the winter hats at InvictusWhistler?

I want to get a few and Meg’s were adorable. I’ve been wearing my husband’s old Patagonia one and it’s… not adorable.

Love the style of dress also and the lipstick.

The lipstick is perfect with that dress. I never know which colours work when doing my own makeup (not that I do it very often).

I’m not very creative. Usually have 1-2 and just use them all the time. Stopped with the right red during Covid when I stopped dressing for work every day. But am ready to get back to that again.

... and here's a quick backstory to the Hussein family of royal (and other) photographers.

Here's what Samir Hussein had to say about the epic pic:

"That epic photograph will be part of a London exhibition, “Princess Diana: Accredited Access,” at the Dockside Vaults beginning May 25. It will showcase Samir, his brother Zak, and his father Anwar Hussein’s images from his time with the royal family. Samir knows how the members of the palace interact with each other and noticed right away that Meghan was unique. “It was very noticeable when Meghan came on the scene just how tactile she was, like holding the Duke’s hand and being arm-in-arm, so that was quite unusual,” he told The Telegraph.
Their PDA became well-known during their short time together as working royals, but it won them fans all over the world for their sweet interactions. That gorgeous image of Harry and Meghan looking each other in the eyes with big broad smiles on their faces made it seem like there was no one else around them. That umbrella with the rain falling around them protected them both from the storm that was ahead — but it didn’t matter because they had each other."

Awwwwwww.... so cute 🤗🤗🤗

This picture is just stunning and it's rare to capture the royals (at the time) in such a fabulous way. The way the light hits from behind, the rain etc. It just all came together at the right time

I've just googled and shes in a very plain black hat?

Did she have a different hat every day?

I think it was the rain that looks like it was diamonds falling from the sky

Thanks @TallerSally how neat would it be if the next generation of the Hussein family became photographers?

I had a friend point out to me that each member of my family had some kind of artistic inclination, career or hobby. It was interesting to think about

She does look marvellous in that colour. She does vibrant so well.

I do love an iconic photo. There are so many that stick in your memory.

This one in particular for me. It captured a moment during a difficult time for everyone.
