If you’re not pro RF or Pro Megs/Haz. What do you believe?

If you have mixed opinions of each camp. What do you and what do you not believe?

I’ll go first!

Truth

  • I do think William has a temper
  • I think Harry is extremely unwell
  • I do think William and Kate gave a very cool welcoming to Meg because they were wary of her
  • I do believe Meghan was seeking a platform
  • I do believe she was judged because she is mixed race
  • I do believe she was judged because she was divorced, mid thirties, an actress and American
  • I do believe both Harry and Meg were given preferential treatment ( Xmas at Sandringham when only engaged etc)
  • I do believe the previously work-shy Cambridges upped their game on Meghans arrival because they were intimidated by her
  • I believe the Sussex staff and how they were mistreated
  • I believe Meg and Harry have no self awareness and are hypocrites with their behaviour
  • I believe that Megs connections helped her target a date with the prince and was planned
  • I do believe that the marriage will end in divorce because of Harry’s behaviour
  • I do think stories were leaked but not on the orders of William and Charles but were leaks from disgruntled staff, many stories have turned out to be true.

I don’t believe Diana is communicating with Harry, that the palace were conspiring against them or that Meghan has any real control over Harry

I agree with most of this, I would add that I do believe Harry has a very justified hatred of the media and the institution that has pushed him to these lengths.

But I believe they even the most staunch H&M supporters believe this is a step too far

I do believe Harry is going through trauma and the marriage won’t make it

William always had the edge and is smarter academically and Harry a bit spoilt (though I like him)

Kate would be standoffish but I admire her too for it - she did well to adjust to royal life and probably has had to deal with all of Williams trauma quietly

Harry knew why buttons to press - I think we all have temper if pushed (I know I do though it never comes out thankfully)

Yes I agree that Kate could appear to be standoffish but that it protects her and her family. Clearly William and Catherine limited their interactions with Harry and Megs and this has prevented even more info from being released but adds to the feeling that Meaghan was never truly embraced. Catch 22

I believe that the monarchy is an outdated institution and that I’m fed up of the taxes I pay being used to fund their indulgent existence.

Do believe the Royals have a problem with relevance after the death of the Queen and it's a shame they couldn't keep H&M as part of the team but it's too late now

For H's own sake it's time to stop, he has gone too far

I think they are an extremely dysfunctional family and are behaving accordingly but with the extra pressure of the media.

I think MM has been horribly vilified and it's fucking disgusting.

I believe that at times both brothers have been physically with each other
i believe that the royal family would be in a better place if somehow Ann had of been heir
i believe that Harry and Meghan seemed great to begin with but feed each other’s insecurities
I believe Kate deserves better

Also agree Oprah played them. Even with the comments about how she was shocked at their cottage. Sounds like she was manipulating and planting seeds.

I am not "Pro RF". (God strike down all these abbreviations on Mumsnet!). I am not in the least interested in the antics of a bunch of over-paid entitled upper-class thickos. They are all as bad as each other and I hope this turmoil terminally damages the "RF".

Agree with this apart from the racist comment. Everyone I have had any conversation with regarding Meghan have never expressed any comments about her heritage…she is the only person who has flagged it up !

I think they all leak. But the key aim is to maintain the monarchy first. So if that means some members get thrown under the bus they do not care.
I believe they also all leak to jostle for position. I believe Kate's side leaked about William seeing Carole as a second mum, and Sophie and Edward leaked about Lady Louise for example
I think Kate and William were fond of each other but now their relationship is frosty. They will never divorce though
I don't think Harry has an end game. He is just angry and is spewing out all his grievances petty and more major.
I think William and Harry are both damaged men from their childhood
I think Meghan has been holding Harry back from spewing all this out up till now
I think the whole family are widely dysfunctional
I believe with Charles, Camilla always comes first

Agree with the above.

I think there is something terrifying about Harry’s view of the world and people. At this point it really is “everyone hates me”.

I don’t believe Harry is an ally against racism, sexism, colonialism. He is incredibly problematic (past use of slurs, not revealing the racist, friends with Andrew when he should be speaking out, still wants to be a royal and have titles).

I do think it is beyond obscene to reveal some of the info he has. We can all laugh about bins and seals but revealing your brother’s circumcision, your father trying to find comfort against childhood bullying, revealing code phrases between him and his brother…. It’s beyond creepy.

I do think if anything Meghan has been used as a shield, hiding his own behaviour.

I do believe that if I was W I’d cut him out for the sake of my own family. The trust is gone.

I believe (think) M should divorce him.

Agree with the Oprah comments. I feel there’s some sort of agenda there. We know that Fergie gave her interviews and that Oprah was shocked that Andrew and Fergie had a dingy dark apartment at Buckingham palace. History repeating itself with her ‘shock’ at living conditions. I’m sure I read that she tried to get a Diana interview post divorce
