The Highgrove book doesn’t say what happens to the plastic handles. The plastic (and some metal handles are replaced by wooden handles. It all looks a bit 1753, doesn’t it?

It’s quite sad that Charles is leaving Highgrove. He has put his heart and soul into it. Will he still keep the house and gardens though?

Here’s a bit from the intro which Charles wrote

Charles maintains Highgrove via the monetisation (ahem) of the garden tours, the gift shop and the events.

I feel sorry for the RF whobare left to pick up the pieces. Charles clearly has a 5 year plan to step up, which means the funerals are already being prepared and practiced. I think the next 5-10 years will see sweeping changes to the monarchy and we should all appreciate everyone who is still around and who is a familiar presence to us. Gosh, I feel so maudlin and sad.

It's odd to think about how the RF will change. I imagine Charles will toddle on much as his DM has done. Nothing controversial. Despite his own passions (gardening, architecture) he won't want to be the monarch who let everything fall apart on his watch. I wonder if he's glad the H&M split happened now so he could just be a father to H and leave his DM with the bulk of the negotiations and the monarchy matters.

I think the other thread was deleted because there was a lot of discussion (I recall?) about a potential other marriage that crops up every so often and seems to be based on invention.

We all know MNHQ likes to pull these threads for no reason at all so I don’t take the blame. Maybe now FF has been released to back up most of the reasons for pulling previous threads, they are getting desperate.

The funerals are already organised. There was a fascinating article in the Guardian about the Queen’s funeral plans.

It’s all code named London Bridge and when there’s a message from the Palace to Whitehall that London Bridge is down it means the Queen will have died. Will see if I can find it.

There seems to be four threads now. The finding freedom thread, the one about the new house, the AIBU thread complaining about H&M bring all over the news, and this one.

No 3. The news thread is gone. The previous news thread is still there but full up.

Is it just these threads that are controlled? it all seems a bit sinister.

I just read an article in the DM (where else) they are talking to all the top Hollywood people about a wonderful idea they have. Totally hush hush and top secret of course. They will be joint producers of this venture. We wait with baited breath. Maybe an advert for loo cleaner as they've got 16 bathrooms to deal with.

The wonderful idea they have is for them to play themselves in a film called Finding Freedom which will make lots and lots of money.

Apparently they are going to be the world’s highest paid speakers on the corporate market, they are with the same agency as the Clintons and the Obamas, it will be interesting to see how this pans out,I just don’t get how they be classed on the same level as the Clintons and the Obamas, How can they even compare, it baffles me.

More importantly, what the he’ll are they going to talk about?

Interesting article about Angela Kelly ("that woman") in the DM. Anyone know much about her from before?

The next few months are going to be very interesting. There have been so many varying reports about what their interests are, what causes they will be championing and so on. I can't wait to see what they actually settle on doing.
