annie I don’t want cats creeping into my food

7Worfs · 24/02/2020 15:19

I’ve got to admit though the H&M ever evolving drama has made me scroll past news about Coronavirus, Brexit and terror attacks.
Most gripping, and it’s good for my mental health as I skip doom and gloom in the news Grin

TheMustressMhor · 24/02/2020 15:20

I certainly did start another thread for people to post about their menus and cats.

There is nothing in the MN Talk Guidelines which says that people can't post pictures of cats on particular threads, though. Grin

I think Megexit has been more stressful than Brexit Grin. Maybe as it's been more concentrated time-wise.

annielouise · 24/02/2020 15:24

I know, but why annoy people on purpose after we've been through this once before, resulting in the other thread? Do what you want but some of us are on this thread and not the other as we don't want the ongoing food and cat stuff taking over.

7Worfs · 24/02/2020 15:28

I love pet photos but I agree the courteous thing is to keep it separate.
I wonder if MNHQ would entertain the idea about an addendum to the TG - ‘no catpix’ Grin

CallmeAngelina · 24/02/2020 15:28

Jeff, "Harry Stropper..."
Brilliant!! Grin

BillieEilish · 24/02/2020 15:29

I agree with annie

I scroll by a certain poster, cats and food.

It's such a wonderful thread, but I scroll by pages and then give up.

PS Bravo Bluntness

Puzzledandpissedoff · 24/02/2020 15:30

I didn't think that they would be able to stop the law suit. If Meghan withdrew, the DM would counterclaim for damages, so get their day in Court

Interesting thought, aj ... I guess I hoped the press would just let it go, but who knows what they'd do if they thought it worthwhile?

7Worfs · 24/02/2020 15:33

HMQ will get the MOS to back off behind the scenes, even though those prats don’t deserve it.

CallmeAngelina · 24/02/2020 15:34

Another one here saying 'well done' to Bluntness for her clear take on the whole fiasco.

TheMustressMhor · 24/02/2020 15:36

Yes, kudos to Bluntness for her excellent posts.

I've started a new thread. We can finish the last few posts on this one.

I like things to be tidy. Grin

I don’t think she would. She’s well into teaching a lesson territory now. The more they ramp it up, the tougher she’s going to get.

annielouise · 24/02/2020 15:40

Alsohuman, I wonder where it's all going to end though, H&M are like toddlers pushing the boundaries, they get told off nicely to start with, push the boundaries or are rude back, get brought into line a bit more, but they keep pushing. They don't know when to stop. It's not helping their cause long term as this is what people are going to remember.

TheMustressMhor · 24/02/2020 15:41

I have to say that I do agree that as we have another thread which is dedicated to cats and menus (not to mention patios and fried eggs) then it is only courteous not to mention this kind of stuff on the main Harry and Meghan threads.

OP posts:
TheMustressMhor · 24/02/2020 15:42

I agree with Alsohuman's take on the Queen and the MoS.

The Queen has shown very clearly that she knows how to deal with naughty children.

Another "suddenly remembered conversation" perhaps? Wink

I can't stand the man, but no doubt Paul Burrell's just loving this ...

7Worfs · 24/02/2020 15:45

My thinking is she’ll do it because of the collateral damage to the RF as a whole, but who knows

ajandjjmum · 24/02/2020 15:47

Rotten for the Queen - and the rest of the family. Except Andrew - who probably sees it all as a blessing!

drina27 · 24/02/2020 15:48

If there is a cookery forum, that might be the place for food talk. I’d be able to avoid it, then!

(This is the thread we started so that we could talk about cats and menus)

Actually, that's the second of the series.

All welcome. Grin

I think you're right about Prince Andrew, aj.

This could not have come at a better time for him.
