I thought they were leaving Canada for California to begin a new reality TV series - Robes. Just like Suits but instead of being lawyers, they are former Royals trying to make money by creating a charity. The first year will involve alot of complaining about the media followed by tons of photo ops and press releases by various stars who are trying to get them to live in their vacant flats.

peridito I worked for a family firm where my uncle was boss. I can tell you now if I’d have said I was collaborating with him he’d have had my hide! He would have frothed & made it clear that at work he was the boss & I was an employee. At family events it was obviously different. I see a similar analogy here.

Now a collab between the Queen & J Crew would be a perfect fusion of UK & US style. #CrownCrew.

Nobody "collaborates" with the monarch regnant. It is not done.

According to Twitter in US it is rumoured they were not paid a penny, we all know they would have announced such a charitable gesture very loudly.
Likewise if they were not paid an obscene amount, they would have made it public.

We are getting wise to how closely they control/start and bury the 'rumours' around themselves...now that UK Press has broken cover.

In the interests of preventing some people tiring themselves out - I have read why you don't like the use of collaborate in this context .
